Has a lot of shopping areas around the park, especially genuine gold & diamond jewelry shopping. You could also go to the gold souk nearby. Lots of eateries too! Dress conservatively, do remember that this is Sharjah. The area gets very crowded in the evening and traffic can be an issue.

“Nice quiet space in the middle of the city chaos!” We came upon this when out and about on a long walk. I think they charge 1 or 2 AED to enter so, given the location, it was pretty empty (or maybe it was the time of day we went -- earlier in the day instead of evening). Its a fairly big park with various statues, fountains, etc. The grass was inviting ...enough for us to lay down on. :-) There are plenty of benches and trees for shade. If you are looking for a nice relaxing place in the middle of it all (if only to get away from the crowds or have a little me time), this is a lovely place to go for very little money!

Sharjah govt renovated this square and made it a family park. Spacious walking area, multiple kids playing areas, couple of loving old trees and traditional monuments. Worth spending time with family or friends. Surrounded by shopping areas where you can find cloths to carpets, stationary to hardwares. All type of food and juice centers are a walk away. The entry price is 2 AED per person, childern below 4 are entered for free.

Great place for jogging, walking and outing with family. Especially in early mornings and evenings. But with an entrance fee of Dhs 2 per head. One side of the park is bus stand where many buses ply at any given time and pollute the area which I dont like.

Good place for the family but in my opinion entrance should be free they charge you 2 dirhams, public parks should encourage people not discourage. Secondly even if they want to charge then try to introduce monthly pass for entrance
