We really enjoyed our time at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai! The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious; there are a variety of good restaurant options and the employees go out of their way to make sure guests are happy and satisfied. In particular, a special thank you to our room attendant, Ankush! He was always there whenever we had any requests and always left small surprises such as amazing animal designs made out of towels, flowers, rose petals and more. Mercy and Lilly always had smiles on their faces and went above and beyond to say hello and ask about our day. John Paul and Eduardo were extremely helpful. They made fantastic suggestions on restaurants, transportation and places to shop. Thank you all for making our vacation so enjoyable!

Nice Rooms not worth the money. We stayed here for our honeymoon in April. The hotel has a beautiful lobby but honestly for such a high end hotel the customer service SUCKS! I expected way more from such a luxurious hotel in Dubai and I wouldnt recommend it. The beach is nothing special and the pool area is overrun by screaming children. I dont understand how people allow children to take over an entire hotel. Chairs are hard to get a hold of and people leave there towels and stuff on them when they arent even around. We arrived at 4:30 and our room still wasnt ready. I was nice they offered us coffee while waiting. However took so long to arrive that at 5:15 when they came to tell us our room was ready and I tried to bring my coffee with me to my room they told me for health reason I cannot take my coffee to my room as all the sand would get in it by the time I got to my room. At this point I was walking around inside the hotel and completely confused and disturbed by there comment. To conclude I was allowed to bring my fresh cup of coffee to my room. We got to our room only to discovered it wasnt even for my husband and I. They had extra twin beds setup in the living room and there was a welcome letter for another family. That wasnt very welcoming and once again delayed our entire evening as we had the house cleaning people removing these beds from our room fro another thirty minutes. I will say the rooms are very Park Avenue in style. Very elegant and beautiful finishes, however those do not make up for all the issues. I did like that we could order room service for a very good price and theirs no extras. If your a couple look at ordering breakfast to your room very good and cheap.

The Waldorf Astoria on Palm Jumeirah is a stylish and modern hotel, the hotel isn’t grand but it is modern and luxurious, the lobby doesn’t have the wow factor some hotel lobbies have but after looking around you do notice that actually everything is very high quality and stylish. Our room was excellent, spacious, modern with extremely high-quality furnishings, the sea view of the palm was beautiful. The dining in this hotel is very good, plenty of options, all prepared and presented to the highest standard. The staff are polite and efficient, and the customer service is generally very good, the only thing we would say is that the service on the beach isn’t so attentive, especially if you are towards the far end of the beach, you can go all day without been visited by the staff to see you require additional drinks. The beach is generally clean but could be kept cleaner if staff picked up rubbish when they saw it, on several occasions we saw staff walk past rubbish and it was actually guests that removed it. Overall the hotel is good, customer service is good, food is excellent and yet we really didn’t leave feeling wowed by the experience, by all accounts this should be a great experience but to us everything was a little clinical, like they have read the customer service manual and have a tick list of things to do to ensure the guests are happy, almost scripted, there’s nothing wrong with a consistent approach but it does feel a bit impersonal. This is only our view, some people may prefer this style of service. There were a couple of members of staff that really stood out, a guy named Goodluck on the beach and the 2 house keepers, Negii and Pramit, they all made the effort to actually talk to us.

Attended a wedding and reception at this venue. It was the most amazing hotel, decor was beautiful and wait staff were excellent! The food was the best part as everything was delicious and there was lots of variety. The reception was outside by the water with a view of the whole city right behind. I cannot put into words how fantastic this hotel was!

Waldorf RAK is far better, unfortunately for this hotel. It will no doubt do well with visitors as its location on The Palm is great but the service, food and prices are not in balance. Its a little too Dubai in that the brand is here but the service to the brand is not. Its not bad, and there are far worse places to stay, but as value for money is concerned its too expensive for this level of service and food. The staff are pleasant but dont ask something that is more than the standard, because that brings a panic and fear to the eyes that seems to mean they have no idea of that answer, but training seems to have meant they cannot go and find out.

We enjoyed our overall stay at the Waldorf on Friday night and as a Diamond member, I continue as a loyal member. That being said , I wanted to share our experience..a couple of observations that should be addressed: • VIP check-in took almost 50 minutes which is not acceptable. When we arrived, we were informed that it might take a few minutes since we had requested hypoallergenic pillows. We had requested these pillows 7 days in advance so I am not sure why it was not prepared in advance. We felt that even though we had received several emails in advance stating ‘We are waiting for you’….when we arrived, it appeared that you were not prepared. This delay and lack of preparedness was a disappointing way to start weekend. • The VIP room is not warm, inviting or comfortable and there were stains on the carpet as well. I would much prefer to rapidly get my hotel room key and go to the room. • While at the beach, we asked for the waiter to bring us a menu. After 15 minutes, we finally received the menu and then no one came back to take our order. We were there for over 2 hours and no one once came to ask if we would like a beverage. • We went to the pool restaurant and ordered two Diet Cokes, a Calamari starter and two Filet Mignons MEDIUM RARE. I even had the waiter repeat the order. After 15 minutes, the waiter brought the calamari and put it down and walked away. I had to get up and find the waiter to ask ‘Can we please have our Diet Cokes?’. When he brought the Diet Cokes, I told him that usually drinks are served prior to bringing any food…he agreed and then walked away. How could it take 15 minutes to bring a drink especially one in a can? After another 15 minutes, our filets arrived and both of them were WELL DONE…not one bit of juice left in the steaks. I told the waiter to rapidly make two more filets but to make them Medium rare as we had ordered in the first place. The waiter apologized and took the steaks away. Twenty minutes later, our steaks still had not arrived. I found a manager and asked him what was the problem in making two Fiets Medium rare and he went to check…We were both finished with sitting at the pool side table and were slightly irritated with the whole situation. We told the waiter that he could bring them to the room but to keep them hot. Once we arrived at the room, I received a phone call from the manager apologizing and offering for us to come down for some free drinks on the house. I told him that we didn’t want anything for free but that we just wanted to have an ice cold beverage after the beach along with some MEDIUM RARE filets within 30 minutes or less. I don’t believe that this is too much to ask when you are staying at a luxury property such as the Waldorf. The manager did come to the room with the filets that were prepared perfectly and did not charge for the lunch. I once again told him that we didn’t want anything for free but he insisted. I am telling you this information because I believe it is important for you to train your wait staff both at the beach and at the pool restaurant. We usually stay about 3-4 times per year at your hotel even though we live about 15 mins away in Dubai. We would like to see the service improve. • We did have an amazing dinner at Lao and the quality of the service and food was excellent. • Check out was flawless – Quick and luggage was waiting in the car to facilitate our ride home.

Waldorf Astoria is again exceeding expectations for us!!! We had an amazing wedding on the helipad and in the ballroom! Rana, Vlad and Jinu are amazing people who we mostly collaborate with to organise this special event for us! Rana is the one of the most beautiful and professional persons I ever meet in my life and shes been more than helpful in organising and make our wedding day perfect! Rana, a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Vlad upgraded us to an fabulous room and we felt comfortable for the whole week! We received nice flowers from the reception welcoming our stay as well!;) Jinu helped us finding the solution of the sand bottle misplaced from the ceremony. He went in the bazar an made the exactly replica of the souvenir sand bottle from the ceremony. This sand bottle was so important to us and he understood that and made things happening and brought us back the item lost. He came and knocked on the door at 1 am to bring it to us! The hotel had an amazing tailor as well which helped when I need it for a small adjustment on my wedding dress. Overall on the last 8 days at the hotel we received amazing customer care, great employees and excellent leaders which without we wouldnt have the PERFECT WEDDING!!!!!

First the positives, The hotel beach, the pool (especially the family one) is good, good views of Burj al arab, Atlantis and Sea depending on the room type. But overall the service was disappointing despite being a luxury hotel. Starting with front desk, we had twin bed confirmed as part of Corporate booking, but on arrival at 3pm i was only given a King bed and extra bed accommodated on request, What is more frustrating is some of my friends who checked-in later was given Twin beds. They have creative staff who even suggested to put one kid on the sofa. My Eid vacation was compromised, the customer service is poor, during breakfast you hardly see any one approaching the tables to check and on ordering a cafe latte after 3 reminders you get one, this happened on two days not a coincidence.

Un Hotel excelente. Su ubicación: Si bien esta alejado del Centro de la ciudad, se encuentra en un lugar muy prestigioso y la verdad que su playa hace que tu estadía no necesite mas nada. Su servicio: Los empleados y sus responsables son muy atentos y ante el mas mínimo detalle se preocupan por atender al pasajero. El transporte en Dubái es económico y el transito, si se conocen los horarios es normal. Las vistas espectaculares de la palmera, hacen que el traslado desde el hotel al centro, paseos y shopping sea muy agradable. En caso de alquilar auto su estacionamiento es gratuito y atendido con total amabilidad. Impecable la habitación, al igual que todas sus instalaciones. Un lujo por donde lo miren. Atendido de manera inmejorable, con personal finamente seleccionado, muy respetuosos todos y con buen nivel de ingles. Su desayuno es muy bueno. Sus Gerentes y personal hacen muy grato estar en este hotel. Te sentis en casa. Una gestión muy exitosa colmada de amabilidad y alto nivel. Gracias por hacer tan grata nuestra estadía, aunque aún nos quedan dos noches, este hotel merece un aplauso y una recomendación para que quien venga a Dubái, no dude en elegir esta opción. Volveremos.

Service sehr gut. Essen eher mässig. Weit draußen; aber vertretbar für Gäste mit PKW/Taxi (ca. 35 min zur Dubai Mall). "Palm View" - Zimmerausblick wirklich gut und ansprechend. Leider 24/7 Baustellenlärm. Zimmer sehr gut und sehr sauber. Preis-/Leistung eher nicht gegeben (bedingt ducrch das mässige Essen).
