Wish they could keep the offroad route open on the top. Good drive in winter on a good road. Has few tea and snack stalls and washrooms. Good views. Very busy over holidays and good weather

There are several areas to stop at along the long road to the top of the steepest mountain where one can relax, picnic or camp. There are clean bathrooms but bring your own tissue/soap. Youll see roaming goats, cats and foxes. The sky is full of stars and you can see the milky way late at night. Its clean, scenic and peaceful. Well worth a visit.

This was a great driving experience getting to the top of the mountain where you have stunning views. The very top wasnt accessiable due to repairs but you can stop at the numerous pull over spots for photos. I suggest taking a sports car up the winding roads which will give you a thrill!

Its a nice place to hangout with family and friends. Take your camping kit with you to see an amazing sunrise. There are several spots on the way to the top of the mountain where you can camp. Families can also camp at night. You need not worry.

Got some brilliant views driving up this mountain. There are a few dining spots on the way up and you can also set up camp in a few spots. Take a camera to capture those awesome views and some comfortable shoes for a little light trekking.

Its a great picnic place with awesome views. Washrooms are available but not that clean and the water gets over so fast. There are some mobile cafeterias just in case you wanted to get some ready fast food + Shawerma + popcorn.. Etc. Also, there is a shop / tent that sells some basic camping /BBQ items.

This is an Amazing place especially during winter. But beware for there are many slopes where you can easily slip and fall and may cause severe damages. But overall the place is amazing. The trip is very long for those who come from sharjah especially. At the most top there is a mountain which you can easily climb but always be careful. Have an azing Trip !

Fab place! Must visit! Driving is much easier than driving up Jebel Hafeeth (Al Ain). The highest point is at approx 1250 meters. The rest of the road is currently under construction. Watching sunsets from the top is fantastic. If you wait till after dark, the sky is a delight for astronomers enthusiasts. Although not as delightful as places in the middle of the desert, you can see a lot more stars on a moonless night. Please make sure you collect your trash and dispose them off at designated places. Its the least you can do in return of what you get.

I went to Jebel Jais today - Feb 3, 2017 with my family. This was our second visit there. STRANGE - We did not expect but witnessed snow fall there . Outside temperature on car dash board was showing 4 degree centigrade but actual would be less. I felt my hands got frozen. So I sat in the car for next 15 minutes with heater on with 32 degree centigrade. Thanks to my beloved wife as she offered coffee, boiled eggs and boiled corn, we all enjoyed.

Spectacular place to visit for picnic or for sight view. Best attraction is obviously the mountains and mainly the sunrise and the sunset at winter. Parking and toilets are available but they should introduce some food stalls or Cafeterias. It gets crowded at the weekend mostly at hi season.

14km drive well worth the 30mins to get there.Loads of toilets at every view point. They are clean and attended. There is good parking to take in the view.. A few mobile coffee and Soft drink cafe all the way up. The last bit 3km is still being built but doesnt distract from the 6000 ft view you get

View from the top is amazing takes around r0 minutes to reach the peak and watching sunset from here is just soo peacefull. You get a eagles eye view of the whole city of Ras Al Kahimah. Its a must visit if u love adventure and its a gr8 place to camp for the ni8 with a camp fire and some BBQ. The roads were built recently so there isnt any street lights on the way up the mountain so its gonna be a challenge to drive back down at night. Other than that its an amazing place a must visit.

Great Driving Experience, limited amenities.. We went here on New years eve, we were from Abu Dhabi and got late to start, so reached mountain top around 7 pm and missed the sunset and view from top, I couldnt find any street lights along the way or at the mountain top, Mountain top was over crowded with families with barbecues, there are no infrastructure for now, there was one food truck and a temporary toilet with long que.. Road to the summit was closed. If you are to go here, please start your journey early so that you can reach top by 3 or 4pm and never miss the sunset and valley view. If you have any plans to stay overnight, bring enough lighting, water and snacks and dont forget your winter clothes as it can get really cold here at night. Please avoid going here on weekends or on Public Holidays, or you will be lost in the crowd and miss the fun. Everything said, Its a must go place in UAE if you plan and prepared well.

January 2nd 2015 we driven to top in group of cars and parked our car at the end of road after our camping point road is unpaved and under construction so dont dare to drive if there is chance of rain. Drive to top is completely same with normal car just make sure on your first trip try to enter this area around 3 or 4 pm so you can see lovely sun set. From base of mountain to top almost 30 min drive note top of mountain only reachable by foot. I parked my car at the end of road and walked to the top took me around 2 hours to reach close to top . You can use your 4x4 to drive to the top on unpaved road at the end of under construction road I found barrier and security post saying private property dont allow to go . Its upto you how you reach the top I went very close to top just short of another 500 meters seen this block access. Any way even on that hight I seen people with families camping on rock face. View is great even at end of paved road or full drive to top on unpaved road if u take risk. My recommendation is use working day to visit this place as you wont any traffic around 2% of usual traffic. On weekends bit of traffic but still easy to drive as road is wide . Some people feel sick while driving to top so eat less before drive, no petrol station in around 50km radius so fill ur tanks b4 drive. Use warm clothes if its winter in dubai. In January temp on top around 10 c . Drive with care on sharps turn and park at places where its safe for you and family. Caution dont drive on under construction road if its raining as its become dangerous risk of steep fall as no barriers on under construction road.

I had gone to the top and temperature was almost 7°C around 4PM. If you like to go to top, you should have a 4x4 vehicle suitable for offroad. Perfect place to camp on top,but you should carry nesessary camping gears including tents and jackets. Very cold there! Dont forget to take your SLR camera to take long range snaps. Nothing special to do there other than these. But, i enjoyed the drive to the top.
