The largest feast I have ever had, so much food to choose from and I tried it all. The quality is great and its amazing for what you pay. The service is average but you just dont care because all you want to do is eat. I recommend this place mostly for families.

This was one of the best breakfast weve ever had in Dubai. They have a great variety of international cuisine, almost everything you can think of, food was fresh, they even have a gluten free section. The staff were friendly and very attentive. They need to add mangoes & smoothies to the menu. They run an automatic coffee machine, so coffee was ok, only if they had a manual Esspresso machine. Get in early as you could be waiting 30 minutes to get a seat, Recommended.

We arrived hungry and wanting to go to Kaleidoskop. Unfortunately, with all the misleading sign on Kaleidoskop entrance, eventually staff at Saffron told us that Kaleidoskop is going to reopen on 7 September onwards. So, we have Saffron a shot (and still hungry when we were seated). The front desk lady asked whether we have allergy and offered Chefs assistance to ensure we are avoided from all possible allergen while ensuring our gastro-experience goes well. Since our allergy is not at the concerning level, we declined the Chef assistance offer. We were shown the buffet selection en route to our seat. There were indeed a lot of choices. By the way, one out of many reasons we would like to try Kaleidoskop was for Umali. We tried asking the staff during buffet showing whether they have umali in the desert area. Interesting enough she did not know what that is. (Could be the way I mispronounced it too ... Overall experience: - staff member were all friendly and helpful - a wide selection of meal options - and yes, they have Umali! Will I return? Maybe, especially if I am starving and Kaleidoskop is still closed (I still have not tried it though)

A huge variety of cuisine mainly asian. Japanese, Chineese, Thai, and Indian. Amazing dessert choices. The place is very suitable for groups and families. It has an outdoor seating. Friendly staff although it is self-service mostly. A lot of the food is freshly prepared by chefs in real time. The only thing I didnt like was the dim lighting. It made me feel a bit gloomy!

Saffron restaurant in jumeirah the palm, a restaurant that says it all : ) The buffet type restaurant is based on Asian cuisine such as chinese, Indian and Korean foods will be available here. There are a lot of good things to be said about this place, first of all the atmosphere in this place is very cozy and appealing, the staff are ready to help anytime. The distribution of different cuisines within the place is done nicely, so itll be easy to reach out the food you want. Most of the meals Ive tried were delicious ( picture are posted) the dessert was on par as well. The outdoor seating was very relaxing with a beautiful view of the palm beach, I had the sweets there with Earl Grey tea which was of a good quality The price matches the quality of foods here which is good in my opinion.

We came here for Sunday Brunch on the recommendation of a few blogs and suffice to say, it was definitely an experience! Its a really strange atmosphere as at the base of it, this is just an all you can eat, all you can drink buffet which people dont generally get dressed up for but the dress code was definitely more of a night out feel than a brunch feel. The food itself was really, really good. I loved the different curries and the selection of dim sum too. My friends appreciated the vast selection of sea food. In terms of alcohol there is a wide selection of cocktails and spirits to choose from as well as champagne so you will not have any problems there. You will queue. Accept this. Its all part of it! My one tip would be to make sure that you have everything you want at least twenty minutes before the end because as soon as it is over - it is over and it becomes a mad rush! Be more relaxed and stock up early if you want to keep drinking in the garden.

On our trip to Dubai for vacation we had a stay in Atlantis and we choose this restaurant as an option to have breakfast and dinner! The restaurant is huge and being N options in hotel this place is most jam packed and have waiting queue of 5 minutes!! Once you enter you realise the reason it serves all the cuisines in the pure authentic manner!! The variety of juices, fruits, desserts, salad is countless!! We had enough of other cuisines so we had Indian here: Alu Puri - Too Amazing!! Sambhar Vada- Sambhar needs to be improved Pakode - Wow Paneer Gravy! Bread Collection - WOW Noodles- Lot of variety and mostly good! They serve lacha parantha that is cooked on tawa and its simply amazing !! Whether you stay in this hotel or not but having a lavish buffet here is highly recommended !!

A lot of people will tell you Saffron is the best place to brunch in Dubai. A lot of people are right. The brunch here is world famous for a reason, and one needs to experience it to truly understand why its the case. Food 5/5 The buffet spread is just endless. Not only will you fill yourself trying to have a taste of all the offerings, but you end up coming across so many dishes that fancy your taste buds that you find yourself going in for repeats rather than pacing through the spread. Drinks 5/5 There are options of Malibu in a coconut cup, a watermelon cocktail actually served in a watermelon, options of JD cocktails, and my newest find and absolute current favourite, Pimms! All of them taste great and presented even better. Ambience 5/5 You would hesitate calling this a brunch restaurant because it really is more of a club. People go dancing like the worlds ending soon, and thats in the middle of the day!

Attending Friday brunch at Saffron is truly a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle that must be experienced while in Dubai. The food options are incredible and include a pork station as well, which is rare in the UAE. The beverage stations are plentiful and give out generous amounts of delicious drinks. Unfortunately, there are no food or drink packages that come with less than everything. If you want only soft drinks or only beer and wine, you will still end up paying the full price of AED 535 (May 2016). While the staff are helpful and the DJ is entertaining, the music seemed to get louder throughout the 3.5-hour and ended up at a deafening level by the time brunch was wrapping up. We had a nice table with our groups reservation, and we enjoyed viewing the whole restaurant from a somewhat-separated section near the back. However, different tables are too close together and the chairs are not very comfortable--especially considering the price being paid to sit in said chairs. At the end of the day, the sheer variety of foods and drinks to consume add to this over-the-top experience. When in Dubai, head out to The Palm and make your way to Saffron at Atlantis. You wont regret it.

We visited safron for the Friday brunch, we arrived for 12:30 and we were right on time, much later and people were being turned away, they have limited seating and it gets filled. We were asked to leave eventually at 16:45, they have us 45 minutes have to finish our hoard of drinks which was really good of them. The price is 535dhs (Oct 16) and this gets you all you can eat food from the many different stations and all you can drink alcohol. This is a great way to brunch on African, no doubt. The food is all very impressive in its presentation and everything I tried was fantastic, I can recommend the fish and chips, I was expecting less but they were awesome. The pork station is a welcome surprise as a westerner so I made sure I sampled that and I can attest to the quality there also. The drinks are all you would expect, name brands desperado beer, absolut vodka, pimms, red bull, jagermeister etc. Hollowed out water melons filed with vodka does give the impression that people come here to get wrecked, and they do, and we did. The staff are obviously courteous being such a high class venue on the palm, the door stag are friendly and nothing is too much to ask for. The music was a great miss of 90s and 00s dance music, really good to get you in the party mood. A fantastic experience that I wont forget and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting brunch adventure. I think the only downside to such a great brunch is what to do between 17:00 and 20:00, one full of drink and in the party mood you either have to go home and rest/sleep, or stay out and risk peaking too soon.

A1 for food services and standards this is my 4th stay here at the Atlantis hotel 7 weeks in total over last 5 years and Saffron gets 5* + every time only managed a sneeky week 8th - 16th june 2016 for my 50th birthday this year but couldnt have picked anywhere in the world better. BE CAREFUL what you eat here! The experience was ok, but the food gave me food poison and ultimately ruined my vacation. I contacted management OVER a month ago and still have not received an appropriate response. Atlantis & Saffron have displayed little concern for the issue (no customer service). Went for the Friday brunch and this place is epic! Definitely not for the feint hearted, the dress code seems to be tight dresses and tops, but you will have just as much fun turning up in shorts and t-shirt, although you may look slightly out of place, but who cares? The drinks stations are great, unlike anything else in Dubai, so much variety and given the size of the place, the offering is not bad quality. I have given this a 5 star rating as it is an all round winner, it has it all, food, booze and fun in abundance! A definite must go to brunch if you live in Dubai or are just visiting! The party also continues on into NDulge the nightclub, which is a day/night club on Fridays! Thats your Friday sorted!

The Saffron restaurant buffet at Atlantis is a bit overpriced for the quality and range of food on offer and drinks are not included. The atmosphere is more like a large canteen than a restaurant which is fine for kids, but is not to be compared with some of the alternative brunches such as at Al Qasr Brunch, Jumeirah. The real stand out thing I noticed though is the service, no individual seemed to have the authority to execute an order from start to finish. The person you make a request to is never the person to execute your request, for example order a drink, the waiter will place the order and walk away, never following up, never checking its arrival or quality, needless to say the drink gets poured but does not arrive. Eventually after repeatedly asking you will get a drink with melted ice or a beer with a flat head which at £8 a pint is far from acceptable. Its not that the staff are not running around working hard, they are, its just they pass the responsibility on to others and never look back. Another example was my credit card, that got taken by a waiter to pay the bill, another brought me the card back with the pin machine, after entering my pin walked off and then my card was Missing. it too about ten minutes and a frenzy of activity to finally work out that the pin machine waiter had put it on the counter, forgotten about it and walked off leaving it unattended. Fine, people make mistakes, but no one thought, oh whats this card? why is it on the counter? does it belong to anyone, lets check the seating plan. Would I go back? honestly, probably not, the food was well prepared and the chiefs are kind and professional, but I just think that Dubai can offer a better all round dining experience.
