Lovely property nice view excellent service as soon as we entered the hotel easy check in and well explained about the amenities in the hotel.. But was disappointed when I saw that there was no special arrangements that I asked for, to surprise my husband.. they called me a day before to confirm the arrangements and none was there.. when mentioned this one in reception the lady just started giving lame excuse that we prepared your room and it was given to someone etc.. Then another thing in morning when we were out we requested to make our room but it wasnt done and when we said the same thing to the lady in reception she started her excuse again and apologized.. we pay such an amount and atleast expect some standards or own up the concerns when we raise it.. I wouldnt say it was bad but these things just raise an eyebrow.. otherwise thumbs up to the restaurant service pool service etx.. If this small things are taken care and given importance to all client par any nationality I would like to go back again and recommend my friends

However, our last day the car was patked outside under the sun for dome reason an when we got the car back it was extremely hot. -Bathroom: designed nicely and large. However, one of the sinks was clogged before we checked in. The shower is great. I would recommend it to family and friends.

Stunning hotel. The rooms, in keeping with Waldorf standards, are huge and well appointed. Extremely comfortable bed with decent bedding and blankets. All conveniences including coffee machines and two huge TVs. The wardrobe area has a built-in dressing table which is very handy. Bathroom has both shower and bath tub and everything functions well. Toiletries are Ferragamo branded. Hotel feels airy and spacious thanks to clever use of light atriums. Walking to your room does not feel like walking in a corridor of doors. Staff are friendly and responsive. Outdoor amenities include a huge swimming pool (any swimming pool with its own bridge to cross from one side to another is impressive in my book) and tennis courts. Ras Al Khaimah is a bit of a trek from Dubai and there really is not much around the hotel but if you dont mind sticking to the confines of this impressive hotel, theres a lot to recommend and almost nothing to dislike.

I always stay at Waldorf Astoria (WA) RAK for work. However, I had recently decided to spend some relaxing time with my family away from work, a decision triggered by my delightful experiences with this hotel. I truly believe that WA is a wonderful place to stay at for both work and/or fun. The hotel has several nice restaurants with a variety of tasty choices. The rooms are very comfortable and luxurious. Staff are lovely and very thoughtful. Although I am always impressed with the staff attitude, I was more impressed during my last stay with the attitude of the night shift manager, Mr. Amgad Cozman, who was out of his office taking care of customers at the main entrance and even helping them with their luggage. This is a wonderful example of the customer focused care. Thanks WA and staff for all your attention.

When we arrived I thought the experience would be amazing. I was wrong it was just ok. As a name this hotel is well renowned around the world. However, when we arrived both the AC and the hotel phone(s) were broken and had to be reprogrammed. The car took ages to be brought around and, they even brought me someone elses car once and said "here you go". Honestly Im never the type of person that writes bad reviews, but this hotel in RAK was just a mess of a weekend.

The Location This branch of the Waldorf Astoria is located in Ras Al Khaimah, an Emirate about an hour’s drive away from Dubai. Getting there is so easy. Just follow the road literally straight from the Arabian Ranches towards Sharjah and then look for RAK signs. We visited on a week day morning and there was barely any traffic. The Rooms at the Waldorf Astoria The rooms are some of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in at a hotel in the UAE. The Waldorf Astoria has large, airy, well appointed rooms, most of which have clear views of the gardens or the sea or both ! The spacious bathrooms are all finished in a dark, Italian (I think) marble and are very luxurious. Many of the tiles and accessories are from RAK Ceramics themselves. I loved the Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries used at the Waldorf Astoria in RAK. I don’t know if the Palm Jumierah property uses the same products? The Facilities at the Waldorf Astoria There are 2 pool areas, some gorgeous gardens which have an almost tropical feel to them and large well manicured lawns. There is also a wide expanse of private beach that borders a calm sea. However the sand isn’t the golden or white coloured sand of tropical beaches, it’s slightly more greyish. But that shouldn’t deter from your enjoyment of the sea and beach facilities. There is also a kids club for children aged 3 to 12. But the highlight of the facilities for me was the spa. I didn’t try any of the treatments but did spend some time in the Thermal Lounge. This is complimentary for hotel guests and is a must try.

Super schönes Hotel. Sehr schöne und große Zimmer. Personal immer zuvorkommend und höflich. Einfach toll. Große Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und günstiges Essen mit dem Taxi für 7 Dirham in 5 min erreichbar. Oder zu fuß aber bei der Hitze nicht empfehlenswert.
