Beautiful display! Furthermore, the night show is definitely a must see. It gets a bit crowded so get there about ten minutes before the show begins to get a decent spot. Lovely view, especially from one of the many nice restaurants in the vicinity. Theres a new show every 30 minutes, and the music changes from time to time, so its definitely worth it to watch it more than once. And its free, so theres hardly a reason not to experience it if youre in the area.

We visited the Dubai fountains last week, very impressive and well worth going to see if your in Downtown Dubai. The fountain shows are every 30 minutes and last for about 5 minutes, the fountains are spread across the lake and cover quite a large area, the display is accompanied by music and the fountains almost dance to the soundtrack, its more of a show than a fountain. The crowds quickly build up nearing the start of the show so its best to get a good spot 5 to 10 minutes before the show starts.

If you couldnt dare to or failed to (like me) climb the Adams Peak, dont worry, you can surely climb the little Adams Peak which so easy that I wonder who gave this name to it. Nice view and you can have a cup of coffee on the way in a restaurant which has amazing views.

I love this place, I have taken so many friends and visitors to the Fountain and it would never gets old.... I love watching the engineering and the work that went in to making Dubai Fountain the biggest. but also right in front of the tallest building the world.... If you visit Dubai, this should be on the top of your list of places to visit. I also recommend you sit at one of the restaurants facing the Fountain and enjoy the view..

Dubai is just so amazing that they will never stop to break records and do unique things. First of all, created the worlds tallest building and largest mall beside each other and still someone is not satisfied you have the best fountain show which you cant afford to miss at any cost. It starts every 30 minutes and lasts approx 7 mins. It is a mind blowing experience. Do watch it.

The fountains are amazing! The show is worth seeing and it lasts around 10 mins. Played each hour and can be monitored on the sides of the lakes. Take your place prior the start of the show as later it is harder to enjoy the view.

I thought they would be a lot better than they were - maybe like Bellagio in Las Vegas or something. They were ok, but not outstanding. Maybe they have to be seen at night to look more impressive? For me, and most people around me, there wasnt any "super wow" factor. However, it was pleasant enough.

Beautiful show. Theres a show every 30 minutes starting at 6pm and ending at 11pm I believe. Find a place along the railing about 15 minutes early at least because spots fill up quickly.

If you are in Dubai or planning to visit, this is a must see. No entry fee, and right next to the Burj Khalifa, the place is awesome, and the views breathtaking. I have been here on many occasions, but the night they played the Baba Yetu song remains my all time favorite.

Quite fantastic and mesmerizing fountain show and it has secured its place among the worlds best fountains including the one from Spain, USA.... speaking about the shows,its every 30 minutes happening with multilingual music around the world each time. And the lighting of the fountain itself with the music that is heard equally around it , with touch of detonation kind of sound when the fountain squirts with musical notes. This fountain while the music is played at times reaches the highest altitude possible and its awesome. One could enjoy the fountain dance while one the ground or on the heights say on the Burj Khalifa top, both of them gives a unique experience at different perspective.

As the name suggests, this fountain ⛲ dances to the tune of the songs played. Aside from the miracle garden, this is like one of the most romantic places in Dubai, and the show is absolutely free. Yeah, you heard me right, it will cost you nothing to see the show. All you have to do is wait for every 30 minutes to see the next show. Its undoubtedly one of my favorite places in Dubai, it never bores me. Even more awesome is watching the fountains dance on top of the world (Burj Khalifa) or taking a boat ride⛵ as the show commences.

Great during the day, even better after sunset. Shows are about a songs length, at the half hour. 3 times the size of Bellagios fountain, however it is a bit underwhelming, especially during daylight hours. Lots of people, hard to find decent viewing spots. Best to get a table at one of the many resraurants along the fountain. If you dont like crowds, this is not going to be pleasant, however.

Although Ive been twice before - we went again and watched the first show from 122 floors up the Burj Khalifa - which turned out to be a waste of time as you cant appreciate it from above! When we went back down to the lake we saw a couple of shows (they are every 30 mins for about 3-4 mins) and they were wonderful as always.

I was gorgeous! Why do not they have a glass platform in the center of the lake? Or OVER the lake, above the fountain! It would be cool!And if there were more colors (light) in the show it would be prettier. It is very beautiful and scale but a bit monotonous.

This fountain is next to Burj Khalifa building, right at the center of shopping area including the big Dubai mall (wifi is free inside the mall). It starts at evening from 6 pm, repeats every half hour. There are usually lot of people waiting for each show, composing images and making videos. Most of the time they play INDIAN MUSIC, SRK songs. If you are in Dubai, HABIBI do visit The Dubai Fountain.

Very nice orchestrated fountain with great music and impressive choreography. Worth going if you are at the Dubai Mall as it is very close (basically part of it). Have in mind that lots of people gather to see and videotape it and thus is difficult to get a good seat... The show is frequent and if I am not mistake until 23:30 (late hours every 30 minutes)

Is pretty good and one of the least expensive (as in free) things I found in Dubai. Fountain shows are good. They run about every 30 minutes once they start but in between they run a light show on the tower which I enjoyed more than the fountains. If you want to stake out a good camera spot, go early and be prepared to defend from rude tourists!

Okay, lets be clear here, its very very very cool place and its a must watch but it didnt surprise me like how the Fountains of Bellagio did. First of all, the first show at 6pm is very very crowded you cant enjoy it , and its short, way shorter than expected. Also, the music isnt as powerful as Id like it to be. Later shows were much better and longer. Its a very nice place. And by the way, you may as well just visit before 6pm, around 4pm where its empty and you can get very cool photos with the lake and the Burj behind.

Absolutely gorgeous! But mostly very crowded. Can get a little uncomfortable in the summer months as you have to wait outside for a few minutes before the show in order to get a good spot. But well worth it. If you are somewhat more organized, you can reserve an outside table at one of the restaurants with terraces in Dubai mall or souk Al bahar.

The fountain is huge. And if you stand as close as you can, little water droplets hit you like a mist and its so refreshing. The music changes at every showing which happens every 30 minutes starting at 18:00 through 23:00 and lasts about 3 minutes each. It can get really crowded on special occasion days or seasons but its definitely worth the trip. You also get to see the Burj in the background which makes for a great photo!

The Dubai Fountain is the worlds second largest choreographed fountain system set on the 30-acre manmade Burj Khalifa Lake, at the center of the Downtown Dubai development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates after The Fountain in Manila, Philippines. It was designed by WET Design, the California-based company responsible for the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel Lake in Las Vegas. Illuminated by 6,600 lights and 25 colored projectors, it is 275 m (902 ft) long and shoots water up to 500 ft (152.4 m) into the air accompanied by a range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world music.[1] It was built at a cost of AED 800 million (USD $218 million). The name of the fountain was chosen after a contest organized by the developer Emaar Properties, the result of which was announced on 26 October 2008.[2] Testing of the fountain began in February 2009,[3] and the fountain was officially inaugurated on 8 May 2009 along with the official opening ceremony of The Dubai Mall. I am sure that this fountain is somthing worth seeing. But you would think that somthing this elaborate would indicate if it wasnt working. I waited along with thousands of others for nothing which was quite disappointing. We had no indication that it was not functioning. I came back twice in the same night just Incase it was a minor issue but the half hour came and went with no show. Based on what I see online its not an uncommon but I am sure they are impressive nonetheless.

Mar 21 evening: After the not so good experience at the top of Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain was very good. The show starts at around 6 pm and goes on every half an hour. The water dances to music in Arabic and English. We liked the Arabic mucic better. along with the water fountain dancing to different forms and changing colours, the Burj Khalifa also gets painted in different designs and colours. Try to catch a place next to the lake.

A really beautiful and vibrant display but be warned, it gets very busy! Fountain displays are currently every half hour starting from 8pm. Music changes from display to display. Theres also a light display in the actual Burj Khalifa that you can watch in between. Keep hold of your kids when youre there though!

Just outside the busy Dubai Mall, under the shadow of the towering Burj Al Khalifa, the tourists and locals gather, whip out their i-Phones and video the fountains which follow special choreography every half hour. This is a pretty cool experience for free. As other says try to get there a few minutes in advance as it can be very busy. The obvious comparison is to Belagio fountain show in Vegas. I think the fountain show in Vegas is better but the background here in Dubai is more dramatic and really adds to it. Either way its impossible to not enjoy it. Its free!

Currently the biggest fountain of the world according to its description, right between The Dubai Mall and The Burj Khalifa. Its definitely worth a visit. The fountain choreography/show is great, bit quite short (one song, around 4-5 minutes). Check the schedule, as it only performs half hourly and not the whole day. If possible, visit it after sunset as its more impressive with the lights on. The show and music changes, so seeing it more than once is not a repetition. I saw it with Enrique Iglesias "Hero" (Spanish Version) which surprised me and was awesome. As a bonus, you get good pictures of the Burj Khalifa.

The show starts at about 10 PM and runs for a couple of minutes, it runs every 30 minutes (10PM, 10:30PM, 11PM, etc.) the place is just spectacular.

Om van de ene kant van de fonteinen naar de andere kant te komen, is het een unieke ervaring om de abra te nemen. Op tijden dat de fontein niet aanstaat is het goedkoper om het water over te steken. Voor omgerekend 5 euro per persoon hadden wij een abra rit over het water waarbij je een mooi uitzicht heb op de Burj Khalifa. Daarnaast kan je voor een meerprijs ook tijdens de fonteinshow het water op in de Abra, een mooie kans om unieke fotos te maken van de fontein!
