Now this would have been 5 stars if only the service would have been more attentive... We were there recently with 3 people. 2 got their food simultaneously while the third one got it after the others had finished already..... However, this happens occasionally, not always. The setting is beautiful. Its so good to see greenery with trees and flowers everywhere, and water flowing, with insects hoping between flowers and dragonflies chasing each other. Prices are okay for this setting, in the middle price range. Therefore, 100% recommended!

Really lovely ambience around this place with the waterfall splashing in the background, birds flapping around the water, ducks in the pond and beautiful, natural trees surrounding you as you enjoy your food. There are lunch options as well as afternoon tea options available. Be sure to book a table as walk-ins are rarely able to be accommodated. The service was a little slow on our day and the drinks could have come a little quicker after being ordered but the beautiful environment made the wait acceptable.

Pros: -food -drinks -healthy options -great nature, great little forest with a small ricer crossing -great service, close to excellent -great choice of furniture -great lighting -relaxing silence Cons: -smoking as in, I havent seen any shisha options nor people smoking -no alcohol -pricey -no pictures allowed, only your table and thats it. I came here on purpose to take pictures around the forest with my friend but nope -super far from the city center. At least 25 minutes from downtown. Horrible connection if coming from Dubai Marina. Youll have to go an extra 25 km in total through horrible traffic, youll be turning around at some exit and get back on the same road you were on going backwards making you waste so much time. With traffic it could be 30 minutes. This last point is a deal breaker for most of the crowd coming from Dubai Marina side, Ill have to give it 2 stars. Once they open the exit to al barari from Marina side Ill rate it again. Sorry "the farm restaurant" for the rating, please speak to the rta, its ridiculous for your customers.

The restaurant is really quiet and family friendly. We had dinner on a Saturday night. The food is good quality and there is a wide choice. The Thai section of the menu is not the most authentic in my opinion, nevertheless the dishes we ordered were really interesting. The setting of the restaurant is the best thing: is really something that you cant find in Dubai. Immerse in the green (always good even if artificial...) and very relaxing.

Fantastic venue. A pleasant ambience with lush green and leafy surroundings.....forget about all the sand a few meters away! The menu is quite extensive with plenty to offer and anyone who is particular about what they eat, there is an ample selection of dishes to choose from. My mother and father were visiting from Australia and they were very happy with their meals. For the price though, some portions (not all), it is expensive comparatively to other favourite cafes/restaurants in Dubai. Juices and smoothies are small as well. The Green Creamy Coconut smoothie had no soul at all. I like to try burgers around Dubai and the UAE. For 80aed this was an expensive burger and a disappointment.The patty wasnt freshly ground as I was expecting, and the bottled sauces in dishes were a bad touch. A fresh Angus patty with some homemade relish and homemade mayo would of put this burger on the map! Service was lacking as it was hard to wave down a waiter. After forgetting to bill us for a bottle of still water, the waiter returned to take our payment without giving us the corrected invoice. The Hostess was great though, sound knowledge of the menu and we only had little wait to be taken to our booked table. In one line.......if youve heard about it go and try it but for me, its not going to make the regular list!

On the plus side: the setting is amazing, greenery every where and a very cool atmosphere. Food was OK too, On the minus, when arrived they said that the place was booked two weeks in advance. All we could see is half of it was empty table, we carried on complaining and eventually got a table outside!

Service was extremely slow, several dishes arrived very late leaving some of my guests eating main courses while others were finished/having dessert. Enjoyed outstanding food at The Farm this past Friday for lunch, however the service leaves a lot to be desired. We were a table of 4. We were duly seated right next to the sliding doors which was a problem in itself, as serving staff coming in and out of the room left the sliding doors ajar and the hot air coming in - spoilt the occasion as it was hot and uncomfortable. Staff just did not close the sliding doors properly - we got up ourselves half a dozen times to close the doors! We sat and waited for at least 10 minutes without being served other than receive menus, nobody came to take a beverage order - we had to summons a waiter. Pre the order arriving canapés were brought to the table - 3 canapés on a plate when clearly there were 4 people sitting at the table! Half way through the luncheon we had to ask for water - it was never offered and when it was brought a litre bottle of still water was just put on the table with no offer to open the cap nor serve it, we duly did that ourselves too! Excellent food but the service standard spoils the whole experience. We shant be coming again.

June2015 My favorite getaway - a sanctuary from the city. Diving into a different world. Food is not as it used to be at the very beginning but its the atmosphere and the greenery. Supported my one excellent staff who is worth to mention in the service. - Patrick - he has excellent service skills and you can tell he takes pride in his work and taking care of customers. Something you rarely find in the region. Chapeau for such an excellent employee!!!!! August2015 Two months since the last review, with a huge disappointment. The “welcome” was anything but well or warm, as I tried to say my name three times in order to communicate that I had a reservation @ 21:00; I was told to sit down and wait. After being brought to the table by Ahmed – the supervisor - and having already received our first order. (around 21:20). I received a call; by the above mentioned supervisor inquiring about my whereabouts and to remind me about my reservation at The Farm. Almost same scenario, as I started to explain, he just hung up the phone. Later on – I have to admit after closure, I saw Ahmed inside and approached him about the unprofessionalism and that I am terribly disappointed, as I am a regular and that I should assume that by now he eventually knows me- like almost everybody else of his staff. His only ”excuse” was that the hostess called in sick, and the girl who took care of the reservation was not capable of doing so… I again expressed my disappointment and that this is only evidence of his weak supervisory, leadership skills and apparent lack of cross training. Team members can only be as good as their leader, and apparently he doesn’t lead by example, and blaming someone else who was not even present anymore is even more unprofessional. The food was as usually good and Patrik’s attentive service as well.

Tried the Thai Menu , food was ok. The Prawn salad was good, Thai green curry nice (not very spicy but flavourful) , rice a tad too dry. Kids menu ok - ordered chicken tenders and penene white sauce which the kids liked. Service very slow and attendants dont take the effort to talk the menu . An ipad is kept in front of you and you figure. Ambiance was nice , very green , a bit disappointed as expected a bigger plot to spend time with family - my perception based on the theme advertised.

المكان يجعلك تشك انك في الخليج .. كله شلالات ومدرجات مائية .. جربنا الفطور كان فطوره لذيذ واسعاره معقوله مقابل الخدمة والمكان .. بعد الفطور كان الجو جميل واخذنا جولة بالاقدام حول المزارع المجاورة .. الوصول للمنطقة يحتاج سيارة خاصة .. يوجد مواقف مجانية .. يوجد متجر لتحف مُعاد تصنيعها من بقايا خردة .. اتمنى ازوره مرة اخرى في المساء لاشاهد المساء في المنطقه .. يعيبه فقط وجود ذبابة ازعجتنا اثناء الفطور ..
