Mojgon DavariI just had an awful experience ! I took my dress a week ago just for a length shortening for a dress I was going to wear to a destianation wedding . I was just there to pick my dress up and thought to give a try before leaving. And they had cut the length almost up to my knees!!! A few hours before my flight !!! Funny thing is that they claimed that I had pinned the dress to that length and its my fault not theres ! Nasser the tailor knows he wasnt being honest and he knows that he had messed up ! They told me to wait and theyd sew back the extra cut off part to the dress . I just cried and left the dress there . Do not go there!! They cant even manage a simple thing !! Worst experience ever ! Didnt even get a sorry from them !

I actually got recommended this place by my friend who says its the only place she goes and travels from near marina.. so of course even though some reviews were bad, i thought it was just a few people and that id risk it when i got a new (very expensive) dress sent from America which was a size too big. I didnt mind waiting an hour to try it on because of the 2 tiny waiting rooms (i was warned about the wait) but the tailors basically ignored me, i showed him what needed altering (he couldnt tell by looking) and he just said ok stuck some pegs on me and walked off. I should have took my dress then. I called in the morning to take my dress back before the started hacking at it but they had already done it. The pictures dont do it justice, the dress is still too big, there is a huge messy (new) seam at the back and the straps were just chopped in half and sewn back together. Do not risk coming here with your clothes. There are many other tailors in Dubai and if you end up paying an extra 50aed with them then its worth it because you wont have to get it altered again (if you can still salvage it!)

Tina CarterBrides beware. This tailor was recommended by a friend who often remakes simple dresses from mid-range designers like Kenneth Cole. I brought them a picture of a wedding dress and they confirmed they could do the design. Through many revisions I was told "it looks better this way" or "thats what it looks like" when it was way off. They also charged me AED 1200 to do the work (compared to 300 for a non-wedding dress) and after the first fitting asked me to tip the tailor because I was asking for changes on a dress that looked NOTHING like what I asked for. Now three months later Im bringing the dress to another tailor. Very frustrating process and disappointing result. I do think they can do a good job on simple casual and formal dresses. But wedding dresses are not their talent and they will NOT address your concerns.

diana nanuThe service was very good, staff is very approachable and polite and ready to help but most important they were impecable when it comes to tailoring, i wanted to have a dress which was a copy after an intricate designer dress and not only that theyve done it beautifully but it looks even better than the original design. The dress was ready with all the details on point in 3 days. Thank you very much for your service and I will highly recommend you to anyone that needs such a service!

jay sarkReally Bad tailoring.......buttons came off within a month....I mean if a tailor cant put proper threads for buttons, it is a shame.....the fitting was tight when I asked for a comfort fit, and I had given an old nice fitting pant to be made to exact dimensions...turned out 1/2 inch less at waist and tighter all through.....Unfortunately there are no negative stars to give....
