They have great aged steaks and the service was also great. It is not a cheap place by any means. Be prepared to shell out some money. The food is very good though.

good food but quite expensive especially since the extreme inattentive and poor service does not fit. We made a reservation through Jumeirah Butler some days in advance to have a nice dinner while watching the fontains, but got a table on the last edge. The waiter was inattentive, always had an excuse why this and that was late in the end he disapeared so we payed our bill at the reception desk and left. To make the picture complete not even the management guy we meet on the leave was interested to attend to his guests.

When we arrived the restaurant was practically empty and there were servers everywhere but we still did not have good service. It was 7pm, we started off by ordering two appetizers. One of which they were already sold out of. Then when they brought the appetizer, they brought the wrong one. We had to wait for 20 minutes for our server to return so we could tell him it was the wrong one. He took the dish away and brought the correct one. When we ordered our food, I also ordered the garlic butter for my steak. When we received our food the steaks were cooked to the correct temperature medium/medium rare etc, however the steaks did not have any flavor or seasoning. So I was happy I got the garlic butter, it was 25 AED for a small serving. Upon eating it I noticed it wasnt garlic butter, of course our server didnt come back for a long time so I was forced to eat my steak with whatever cheese sauce they brought out. My husband and his friend both tried the sauce and stated it was not garlic butter. When the server finally came over he asked how it was. Again we told him the side dishes (mashed potato, rice, and baked potatoe, had no flavor, let alone seasoning or butter) and we informed him of the sauce. He asked how the steaks were cooked, we said good, and then he said good and walked away. We were literally dumbfounded. We also noticed we ordered a bottle of water, as did the couple that came after us, and they gave us a smaller glass bottle and them a larger local brand. Meaning ours was more expensive. As if things werent bad enough, it got worse. We asked for our check, my husband and I on one, and the friend separately, the server said no problem. He took our entertainer voucher and stated he would be back. When he came back he said because he we used entertainer he cant separate the checks any longer, we stated that was fine since he could use two forms of payment, he hands us the check, and the steak he removed from the check was our friends. His steak was 100 less than ours, he said there was nothing he could do. We asked to speak to a manager, not only was he rude and not wanting to listen, he stated we should have not sat together if we didnt want a check together. ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! So you are telling me this restaurant refuses to give separate checks because of a voucher. We didnt argue with the manager since he was being a jerk, we paid the check and left. However I want everyone to know about our experience and warn you to stay away. The food is sub par at best. They dont use spices or even butter for flavor, the service is horrible and the management is even worse. This place is so overpriced and not worth it. There are plenty of places that make better steaks in the area and malls as well for a lot less and great service. In MOE the butcher shop is to DIE for. We will never return to this place and we will make sure we warn everyone about how horrible it is!

We love The Meat Co in Souk al Bar, Dubai. 3rd trip to Dubai, 4th visit here. Staff are very experienced and pay particular attention to detail too. Several faces remain the same on each visit. This occasion provided the same, high quality food which we have come to expect. A little on the £££ side, however, like everything else in modern life, you will only ever receive what you pay for..... No complaints at all.....

Had gone for a friends birthday and was pleasantly surprised with the delectable dishes and lip-smackingly good desserts! The ambience was quite entertaining and lively, what with the performers playing Happy Birthday on drums and dancing around the birthday boy! Its a bit heavy on the wallet though, but overall was a great experience!

Although I find it overpriced, but I loved the food! Cooked wonderfully.. You would surely be enjoying the time there and the atmosphere till you receive your receipt :) .. The place is dark with light lightnings and suddenly out of nowhere where someones having a special occasion youd see the staff with their African drums going crazy but amazing. Also, reservation is advised, if you dont mind waiting for 40 mins and more.

Excellent location. Fine meat and very excellent service.. Two things I didnt like the pigeons WALKING around us and the food was very expensive (500 Dhs/per) more than the branch in Kuwait. الموقع ممتاز. اللحم جداً ترف وحلو. الخدمة ممتازة. شيئين ماحبيتهم الأول كثرة الحمام اللي يمشي بين الطاولات وبين الأرجل. والشي الثاني الاكل غالي جداً (٥٠٠ درهم/شخص) وأغلى من فرعهم بالكويت.
