When you arrive at WAFI Mall, youre greeted by striking sphinx statues, and the opulent Egyptian theme continues inside. Its certainly a treat to be able to shop at over 350 shops while taking in spectacular stained-glass pyramids, as well as pharaoh sculptures and columns with hieroglyphics. Youll find plenty of designer stores such as Burberry, Roberto Cavalli and Chopard. However, there are also a number of under-the-radar local boutiques. If youre a fan of British department store Marks & Spencer, you can indulge right here. There are 30 eateries, and kids can enjoy mini golf and an outdoor pool.

To be honest we dont use this mall very often but it is THE PLACE to see SANTA at xmas with the chance to win a holiday to Finland! The xmas tree and decorations are well worth a visit and even at 13 my eldest still wants to go! The gifts are all the same - a different cuddly toy each year which is good quality and saves any kind of argument or upset about the gift you get. Well worth the visit. Early December is very quiet but it gets really busy later on in the month.

A sight as such, the mall provides a delightful ambient. There is a lovely Arabian souk and restaurant ( Khan Murjan ) in the basement of the mall. Good public services like visa offices and Tasheel. Partly the mall is a little outdated and stranded in a central, but traffic wise difficult location. However, other part of the charm is that slightly "historical" feeling.

One of the oldest mall in Dubai and yet they are able to maintain it to a highest standard. This mall mostly focuses on high quality brands so you have to have the buck to spend for it. This is also one of the stops for the Big Bus Tour since the mall boast of its an amazing Egyptian inspired theme. You very to see a pyramid ceiling, statues of Egyptian gods, etc... A good way to spend your quiet couple of hours away from other very busy malls in Dubai. The foodcourt has recently been renovated hence lots of selections in addition to proper restaurants that the mall has. Include this mall as part of your visits if you are a tourist.

it is now two years ago that we had the wonderful pleasure of visiting 3 or 5 times a day during our three day stopover to stop for a meal, a coffee and cake and do a bit of value shopping at this most unusual store. it was never busy, but always people enough to keep a reasonable cashflow for the businesses needs. there was never any sense of being pushed like a wheelbarrow into a confined corner for the sake of a sale. my wife and I did buy a number of items, but they were needed and the ones of our choosing. a pleasant experience in the world in which we now live. no! I am not suggesting that other malls did molest our shopping experience, it was just that the range of goods available had a greater uniqueness than some others. we remember particularly the African lass working in the central food facility was delightfully pleasant, interested in our life stories and the sharing of some of hers. a special venue amongst many other very special venues in Dubai. worth a visit. PS very user-friendly ATMs as well taking that other component of holiday or business travel that can bring out the worst in us. ENJOY

Wafi mall was basically my office for 6 years having worked for the local Sheikh that owned it. Before the days of the mega malls Dubai is pumping out nowadays Wafi Mall was the place to go ...... I belive if you want a shopping experience without the crowds that are attracted to places like Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall then Wafi Mall is your location. With food outlets like Wafi Gourmet, Khan Murjan giving culinary delights that just arent found outside an Arabic country. Wafi Mall is an architectural wonder with Roman style marble pillars, a pyramid and massive Egyptian statues this place is worth the visit just for the walk around. Traditional english style pub Carters has been a mainstay of entertainment and exceptional quality pub food for 2 decades. Walking through the mall you will find the Eye of Horace a wonderful atrium with beautiful flooring and a majestic lead light ceiling that needs to be viewed from floor level. Free WiFi across the mall and not as packed as the mega malls. One can have a wonderful shopping and dining experience here with lots to feast the eyes on too.

However, I must mention that the prayer area allocated in this mall is probably less than 1% as compared to rest of the shopping mall. In the center of the city a mall which is developed in the shape of pyramid, having inside a latest full of brands mall. This place seems quite scary sometimes and Marjan an area in its basement is quite suspicious.
