I like this mall, as it is a bit quieter than the more well-known malls in Dubai. Not as many tourists, mostly residents, and therefore not as crowded. All the usual suspects are here; a cinema, good choice of restaurants and fast food outlets, coffee shops, retailers and so on. Ample parking, although not all of the spots are covered.

This is my favorite mall in Dubai. Not as overwhelming as Dubai mall. But beautiful architecture with the different themes. Uncomplicated mall as it only has one floor. Overall its more affordable than mall of the Emirates and Dubai malls attractions. Easy access via metro, many taxis to cater for shopper needs and just an awesome mall to take the family

Beautiful mall with a very interesting theme. Its been designed to reflect different cultures from around the world. Different shops where you can find everything you want with plenty of coffee shops and a nice food court. They just need to have free WiFi like most of the other malls in Dubai. Would highly recommend.

Nice mall, one level and easy to navigate through, reasonable size and availability of parking is always a plus point, you can have your car washed for 15 AED (cheapest in town) and the cafe options are a lot and very well positioned so dont worry about finding a place nearby anywhere you are in the mall. I first visited this mall in 2009. It was vibrant and quite enchanting then. The concept made a lot of sense, highlighting the travels of Ibn Batuta and it really lived up to its name . There was so much to see and do. Now it is just a big shell, a shadow of its former self. It is massive with little substance.

One of my favorite mall in Dubai. It might not have a very unique selling quality like other malls but nevertheless it is a very good place with all the key essentials covered. You get lost in it! Very bad layout. Signage is poor too. Even Ibn Battuta, who was a well know navigator, would get lost in this mall. It also needs to be renovated. Its gotten old. Not recommended.

One of the best malls in Dubai themed around the travels of the legendary Traveller Ibn Batuta. As you walk from one and to the other you will be transported from China, India, Persia, Egypt, Northern Africa and Andalusia. The decor is mind blowing and the scale of the replica props are life sized. The food court in the Tunesian section is my best as it gives the illusion of having an open sky above the market place. More than a mall experience, Its a walk down the History lane. Therefore its my best mall in Dubai

Ibn battuta mall has a very interesting theme and design. As with everything in Dubai, it will wow you at first sight. My main problem with it is that its difficult to navigate and help desks arent exactly abundant. On the plus side they have a music store there with a good selection of guitars :) ! Be sure to go from end to end and see all 5 themes of the place.

Its a very fun mall. The perfect place to spend a shopping day with your family or friends. The mall has every brand and has some great dining areas. The decor and ambience of the mall is fantastic too. Theyve created a multi culture theme for the mall which is brilliant. This mall has some nice themes. For example the India area has a huge model elephant and the China section has a huge boat. The shop selection is good, it is one of the very few malls with two musical instrument shops. The only downside is the mall is the layout. It is one long strip, so sometimes you find yourself needing to walk the entire length of the mall twice to visit two or three shops!

This is a nice mall to visit, because is far from the city center it is no crowded and you can have a quality indoor life. It is well served by all transportation means and have also a metro station (30 minutes from city center). My favorite thing and a must do if he is there is there is a guy who does Arabic Calligraphy. He does this for free as well. So he will write your name in Arabic and it is a great souvenir for visitors!

Almost all the best shopping brands are here too such as M&S, Paris Gallery, Iconic.. a variety of sports shops such as Sports One, Decathlon, Sun and Sand Sports.. Affordable places like Splash, Max.. pharmacies like Boots, Life, Al Manara.. the best restaurants and cafes such as Shakespeare and Co, Maraheb, China Garden, Pappa Roti. Novo cinemas is there too and so is Mediclinic. A major draw is the grocery giant, Geant which has a huge branch here. The mall is connected to the hotel , Premier Inn and is right next to the metro as well, making it perfect for tourists too! A complete shopping experience!

such a big place , most of the brands are available here(not those luxury thing) .the parking space is good. the mall is a little bit big and you need a lot of energy. toilet is not clean and smells very bad!

It is pretty convenient for those living in JVC and DIP. Only issue is, it is short on some popular brands, however, with the new extension Im pretty sure theyll add a variety of shops that cater to every taste. The themed sections are pretty interesting especially the Tunisian and Chinese courts. Food options are great too. For those with kids, you got two play areas Chuck E Cheese and another mini theme park. Enjoy.

This is a lovely mall with a great selection of shops such as Debenhams, Mothercare, Monsoon Kids, Toy Store, Red Tag, Decathalon, Modells, Nike, Under Armour, Sharaf DG, Iconic, Next, H&M, Forever 21, G-Star Raw, Lacoste, Koton, Bodyshop, Daiso; salons and spas; places to eat such as Carluccios, McDs, Pizza Hut, KFC, Charleys subs, plenty of cafes; a great Geant; and more. It also has a Novo cinema and a couple of drop-off play areas for kids. One of the reasons people like to see this mall is because of its themed sections. On the single-floor, you will walk from one side to the other in 10-15 minutes and pass the India, Egypt, Persia, China, Tunisia and Andalusia courts. Each courts interior design is influenced by the same area of the world as the court name (some tile images attached) and there are also some lovely displays such as the Elephant clock (India court), a lion fountain (Andalusia court) and a massive vessel (China court) to take photos with; the last piece mimics the adventurer Ibn Battutas visit to China. There are also some nice grass patches outside to relax on when its cool. Overall, a great mall with great character.

The newly-renovated areas at Ibn Battuta--especially the China Court--stand out as being vastly superior to the slightly older areas of the mall. We enjoy going here for the convenient location, easy parking, and wide variety of shopping and dining. Hopefully, all the construction work will soon be finished, and visitors can enjoy the different themed areas in all their splendor. (May 2016)

The mall is laid out in sections covering some of the places travelled to by the 14 century explorer of the sams name, who is widely recognised as one of the greatest travelers of all time. The mall is well laid out and beautifully constucted. However, it is an expensive place to shop at. Even during the end of year promotion period (Christmas and Dubai Shopping Festival promotions) products in all categories are overpriced compared to USA and Australia. The shopping mall has a very large footprint to cover by foot in one day. HINT: wear comfortable footwear. The mall does have chauffeured electric buggies, but good luck getting one of them. Food wise, the mall offers a varierty of options to suit all palattes.

Very good shopping mall, with variety of sections inspiring the different cultures (Egypt, Morocco, etc.), nice place for family to go out shopping, dinning, watching cinema and getting some photos with the different landmarks made inside the mall (Indian elephant, ancient statues demonstrate engineering and scientific inventions). Nice place to be in, but be ready for long walk - be fit :-)...

Its a little distant from the main Dubai area, but still a good place to shop. Especially during the sales in January. Just take the Dubai Metro, its the easiest way to travel here from the city (and good to avoid the traffic during rush hour). Its not too crowded, but still has a very good selection of shops. Its also less fancy than other malls in the UAE. But it has a more relaxed atmosphere.

Mall with a theme. Ibn Battuta mall is named after the first Muslim world traveller who documented his entire trip. At the mall they have recreated all the key highlights of trip which he found at various locations like Elephant shaped clock from India. Others from Science, medicine and astronomy. Mall is a really long and walking from one end to other is long but fun too to watch all the highlights of his travel. Good thing is Mall also has easy access from all sides with plenty of parking. My favorite is China court where there is a movie hall with 21 movies including an IMAX. And lots of nice restaurants (food court is on the other end of the mall). China court also has all electronics shops and bookstore which I visit often.

An amazing and a really unique mall, probably one of its kind as far as its architecture is concerned. It makes you feel you are strolling in a castle with open skies. Another highlight of this mall is, as the name suggests, it chronicles the travelogue of great Arabian traveler Ibn Batuta (1304-1368/69) between 1325-1353. Some of the artifacts dating this period are on display along with short commentary. This makes it very informative. There are plenty of shipping options with price points to suit your budget. Ample parking space is another plus point of this mall.

I recently visited this mall with my friends few days ago and was amazed by their state of the art infrastructure. This is an International mall and have very family friendly atmosphere. A bit away from the main city but take a metro and it will drop you just in front of it. Though in front of mall but still you need to walk nearly 1Km to get into the mall. Dont expect the escalators as the one in Dubai Mall and Mall of Emirates. If you go at 7:00 PM you will get a very good view of the Ibn Batuta Gate which is mesmerising. Inside the mall there is false ceiling of sky design, which in first dont let you know that it is real or fake. And then there are stores and only stores with a big Chinese sinking ship and Indian King on his elephant, Novo Multiplex, Gym.

This mall is really unique! By far the most unique mall in the whole of UAE. I say unique because the mall has these sections or pavilions for various countries from around the globe. Shopping here is truly a treat since you get transported into the culture of that country. You can even just go for a walk in this mall and be fascinated by it. The mall is named after the famous traveller himself. This mall offers a wide range of items & food. You will need atleast 6 hours to fully experience this mall from edge to edge and corner to corner. Try not to get lost otherwise you will just keep circling around. Parking is not an issue at all, unlike other malls, this mall has ample of parking you can easily find parking even during the busiest hours and weekends. Enjoy the journey!

Very unique mall in Dubai, with 6 different themes representing 6 different countries and regions which the famous ancient Arab traveler Ibn Battuta has visites: Andalusia, Tunisia, China, India, Persia, Egypt. While shopping through the stores, you can discover on the pathways, some history about each of these countries with a few artifacs on display. There is a big supermarket here as well which offers good quality consumer goods.

Ibn battuta mall is one of the top malls in uae.. the mall itself is divided into differnt courts and each court is designed in a different theme. You get the india, persia, chinese, egyptian themes and more... also you will find the models of earky muslim inventions abd histories of early muslim inventors displayed throughout the mall.. the cinema in this mall was one of top cinemas during early days as they were one of the the first one to introduce wide screen 3d movies. Here you get cinema and few restaurants at one end of the mall and food court and Geant super market at the other end and in between one can find all sorts of shops, boutiques & coffee shops.. at the centerbof the mall you have the paris gallery... over all although you dont to see tourist attractions like dubai mall or have large selections to pick from like mall of emirates.. still ibn battuta mall has its own charm... id sure would visit the olace again and again :)
