Moustafa HasaanVery normal restaurant,, near average maki roll. Waiters are not attentive, you barely can find someone to serve you. Very slow kitchen,, had to wait for more than 30 mints to receive our order although table next to us received their food before us while they ordered 10 mins after us! A mess. Lack of experience in service.

Anna FaniI went to this place and didnt have a good experience at all. It took over an hour and several repeated requests to get a soft drink and water order. When I ran out, no one offered a refill and after making two more requests, which were ignored, I just gave up on liquids for the evening. I had to request for plates and cutlery several times and they seemed annoyed when they finally provided it. They also refused to serve me unless I paid for the order and when I cancelled, they said they had already made it so I told them they either serve it and present the bill afterwards like a normal restaurant or they can cancel it. Ridiculous. I went there because someone recommended it and the experience turned out to be an awful one. Will definitely not be going back to this place or recommending it to anyone I know.

Risvan mohammedAmazing Japanese restaurant and lounge at Souk Al bahar. Decor is chic and ambiance is great. Good spot for diners and night outs. We ordered an array of dishes , mostly fish and sea food. For appetizers, we tried the wasabi crunchy prawns: the prawns were fresh and the crunchiness was there with the right intensity of wasabi, not too overwhelming.. A smoked sashimi dish came with fresh smoked octopus, as well as smoked salmon that comes in a cup. Presentation was superb and taste was excellent. A large sashimi plate came with a mix of sea food sashimi. All were fresh and tasty, food presentation and temperature were excellent. For the main dishes, there were many options: 1) angry chicken which is a piece of grilled chicken with spicy sauce 2) grilled lamb ribs 3) black cod 4) wagyu beef strips.. All 4 were cooked to perfection, chicken was a bit too spicy, but otherwise taste wise and presentation wise, all were superb options. We tried the earth chocolate crumble, green tea tiramisu and moshi for desserts. The highlight of this sweet ending is the earth chocolate. Aside from all the great presentations, the earth chocolate was a completely new experience and taste was phenomenal! You actually use a small shovel to scoop the food! Great experience at Kanpai.
