Vibha TalatiThe interior of this place is well done. It was a house of rich merchant which is converted to a restaurant. The people working here wear the traditional Emirati dresses, I find that a pleasant change from the globalisation of uniforms. They serve you hot Arabic bread which tastes yummmm!! Ask for their welcome drink in case they forgot to serve you in the first place.

Sara RouxI came here from a visit to the souqs after seeing excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. This restaurant was top notch -- EXTREMELY delicious! We tried chicken, shrimp, and lamb, as well as hummus and it was all so good. We had the ice noodles with rose water for dessert because it sounded unique and they were SO SO TASTY... Kind of like a rice gelato. All of the waitstaff was extremely friendly and helpful -- one also took me to see different parts of the restaurant like the beautiful roof terrace and a room where they would make date honey. On top of all this we had a very generous meal among three people for only $43... I would have paid much more. CANT recommend this place enough!! One note that I also saw on TripAdvisor is Google is wrong about the location. It is near the gold souqs right across from the Heritage House (I found it from their Facebook page). You cant go wrong .. Eat here! =)
