Fantastic place! The staff are amazing pamper to your every need. Cool drink on arrival while you wait to book in. The swimming pools are awesome. While you are in the pool, they bring round free ice lollies and water melon on sticks. Just as you think its getting too hot, they bring round ice cool flannels to cool you down. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are so comfy. They cater for your every need in the rooms and around the pool. I cant thank the staff enough - especially Arnie - thank you Arnie for taking good care of us.

The atmosphere was amazing here. Quiet, secluded, and the views were astonishing. The food was amazing, I definitely recommend the mixed grill. The service was good, the waiters were cordial and when they brought me an alcoholic drink by mistake they replaced it free of charge. The shisha was above average.

One of the best places Ive ever stayed. Just perfect to relax and get away from everything. Because its fairly isolated prices can surprise so allow extra for food and drinks etc. A lot extra!! As an Aussie I looked out over the dunes expecting to see the ocean all the time...weird feeling only seeing sand for miles and miles but loved the place.

I had visitors from UK and decided to take them to Bab al shams for the dinner and show package as I heard a lot about it, at almost 500 AED not including alcohol it seemed a bit steep also far to drive to get there but assumed it would be worth it. I was extremely disapointed with the experience as the waiters were completely clueless (Apart from the guy responsible for sheesha who was extremely helpful and tried hard to accommodate us). We had to ask for things multiple times, and even then wouldnt receive the right thing. I also thought it was appalling that when I asked for mint tea I received a cheap lipton tea bag with couple of old mint leaves! Then I insisted on having Moroccan mint tea which they took around 30 mins to deliver, again after asking multiple times. I asked one of the waiters to get me the sheesha guy and he forgot so I had to ask again and again. The cherry on top was that the charged us extra for Morrocan mint tea which a) should have been included in the package when it clearly says teas are included and b) the waiter didnt even inform us that this would be additional. All in all I was planning to take other guests next week but I have now re planned it to go somewhere else as I was highly disappointed with how the waiters were trained and also when I raised it with the manager he just said he will remove the mint teas from bill and pass on my comments to management. after spending an hour each way to drive there for dinner, and also spending around 1800AED for three, I was left completely embarrassed in front of my guests and also disappointed. It is probably better to go to the main hotel bar and watch the sunset with some drinks and listen to the live band there.

Top few options for having an Arabian heritage-esque experience in the UAE. It is a tourist event. In my top few, this one is the most affordable and easily accessible + great for families and large groups. The destination is 45min from Jumeirah, Dubai and easy to navigate to. On the grounds you will find multiple options from camel and horseback riding in the desert and jeep tours to experience the glory of the sand and its wildlife. Additionally, one can view the falcon show and learn about their significance in Arabian culture for hunting. The whole day wraps up with a delish feast offering all traditional dishes and deserts (minus camel) and even quite a bit of seafood. The dinner show is a bit cheesy, but the traditional music with violin and tribal drums are fantastic and soothing. ENJOY!

I visited this place in Apryl, the weather was still acceptable and little cold due to rain. I have taken a road that takes You from Mall of the Emirates to Al Khail, kept only staight, do not turn anywhere but straight. Then It took me to a very small one lane road via desert, no cars but sand. Very beutiful road. Finally I reached a small rounabout that has a sign turn left to reach Bab Al Shams. The road was very dark, however it is short. Finally, we got to the place. It was not really busy. There is open buffet aed 425 but do not go for it if you are not alcohol consumer since you would just pay for a thing that u do not enjoy. Instead there is one more international buffet AED175 per person, alcahol served separately im case you change your mind. Place was very romantic with terace seating, very dedicated service and good food, some food can be coocked in front of You. I recomend this place as romantic.

اعجبني الفندق بتصميمة التراثي الذي يجذب السياح الاجانب خصوصا والعرب عموما ، كل شي جميل في الفندق ويوجد به اكثر من مطعم جيد .. ما عدا (مطعم الحظيرة) فجودة الاكل فيه اقل من المتوسطة والاكل غير مُغطى و معرض للحشرات!! بالإظافه إلى سعر البوفيه مبالغ فيه جدا .. حوالي ٤٢٥درهم وبوجهة نظري هو لا يستحق اكثر من ١٥٠ درهم!
