The locality is awesome. Even the staff at the reception has been helpful. The buffet breakfast is good, but it requires some variations as well. Only thing I didnt like was they do not provide extra drinking water, per head only 500ml of free drinking water.

Our entrance was fantastic. We had hired three nice cars (Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini) and when we turned up at the hotel parking wasnt a problem: The other cars in front of the hotel were removed so that "our" cars could stay there!

(2011) Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Our entrance was fantastic. Great location for walking to restaurants, the Dubai museum but also good links to Red and Green line metro. Good service by the staff with a lovely out door pool area. The room was an OK size, nothing else needed really with a nice decor and presentation. Room 318 there was a slight constant machinery hum, even with the air con off. Didnt detract from a great stay. The viceroy English pub is a great place to relax with a drink and the staff were more than accommodating, in arranging the F1 to be shown on the screens.

Incompetent staff. Took 30 minutes to check out even tho I kept telling staff that I had a flight to catch urgently. I was asking about having a taxi called for me since the checkout was taking forever and at this point I was late for my flight. The staffer checking me out kept ignoring my questions about taxi instead of understanding that I am now late due to their incompetency with check out process. Then when I had to raise my voice to get the incompetent guy to understand that Im going to be late because of them and I need them to answer my question about the how long the taxi will take to get called NOW, the staff lied to me saying they will call a taxi right away and it will only take 5 minutes, so after another ten minutes finally they said my taxi is waiting for me and when I went outside to get inside they told me it will take another 10-15 minutes for my taxi to reach. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never stay here again.

I was once again in Dubai Just over couple of weeks ago in late April and stayed at the Four Points Sheraton in Bur Dubai (Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road). Having stayed there a few times before, I have to say that their customer service is fantastic and consistent. The Concierge remembered me by my name and greeted/assisted me warmly, I felt like home. The service is great, the rooms very comfortable, clean etc. It is very convenient location too. Their breakfast is pretty good too. The General Manager, Mr Pratish the Front Desk Manager and staff are amazing. I also visited the Antique Bazar restaurant on the 1st floor and they are very good too. Mr Anil also took very good care of me. Last year I had a big dinner for 30 people at this restaurant and they were outstanding, as we relied on Mr. Anil and he did not let us down!!. For those of you who love Indian Music or music in general and Indian dances, you MUST go to this restaurant and you will truly enjoy the food and the entertainment. Guys keep up the fantastic job and I look forward to visiting you soon again

As a former Marriott loyalist, Ive recently turned my allegiance to SPG properties. However, this experience has shown my loyalty means nothing. Today, after saying "thank you for being an SPG Gold Preferred member" the front desk employee handed me the keys to my room, which I am occupying with my wife and 3 year old daughter. They gave me the room literally (no exaggeration) directly below the dance floor of a private party, one floor above. I went to the next floor, to find out what the F it was and found quite the party happening on the other side of my ceiling. I now know how the Cupid shuffle sounds from below. Its 10:33 now. Im told I only have to wait 57 more minutes for my kid to have a legit chance at sleeping. The front desk has nothing to offer me besides "sorry, itll be over at 11:30" or 11, depending on which staff member I ask. I used an insane number of points to book this room, but cant imagine how much more furious id be if I had paid the going rate this weekend of $300+ per night, for this room. This will be my last SPG property. Nobody should have ever been given this room or any other in this corner of this floor.

I stayed in a non-smoking Jr suite, which was nice. Nicely made Queen sized bed, leather furniture, nice kitchenette with washing machine, which was good to was clothes and nice bathroom with bidet. My ONLY compliant and issue was that everyday when I entered my room the room is filled with cigarette smoke!!! Disgusting!! I did complain and they immediately sent someone to spray with a can of air freshener. Still did not work! So I had to purchase some local oil and spray daily to keep the room freshened. The hotel state it was from the exhaust! Maybe true but such rubbish!! If I wanted a smoking floor, I would have requested it. Place it great for smokers!!
