Rak SudraIve moved from Downtown Boulevard to DIFC so invariably had to change my local drinking establishment and stumbled across Double Decker - my previous place was La Serre which was great and I made a lot of friends there - so DD had a lot to live upto - as a British ex-pat I was naturally going to feel at home at Double Decker and their happy hour and prices are slightly more affordable than la Serre also. The staff I found very attentive and almost always try to go the extra mile to provide you with snacks, lighters etc and service is almost always delivered with a friendly smile! The cocktail list isnt so strong but its a pub concept so thats ok - the draught beers are great with a good range available and the food is good old fashioned pub comfort food! The BBQ is great! I really like DD and it has secured itself as my new local - a few friends who visit from around the world also like the attention to detail over the Britishness of it down to the bus routes etc (were all from London) basically if you like a down to earth pub in a relaxed informal setting instead of a flashy cocktail bar then this is the place for you and me - keep up the good work Team DD and see you tonight

Jerry LarderWhat is not to love. A passable imitation of a British pub. London Pride on tap. Bacon and Pork platters (real pork bacon not the smoked turkey rubbish sold elsewhere). Sports in one part of it. Eating and drinking in another. Great Brunch on a Friday. As it is close to my office it is perfect for a lunch as well.

Rich HacklGreat service, great atmosphere, we loved playing the big jenga game with other patrons. A special thanks to the Double Decker Pub employee who recognized me at the dubai metro station on his off time and stopped me from accodentally boarding the womens only section of the train. :)

Doug LangmeadHadnt been back for ages after visiting late on a Friday brunch day in summer and not enjoying the crush. Its actually very pleasant now with the outside bar. Also thanks to Sajjit Ali on Security for finding my wallet on Thursday night and keeping it safe for two days over a weekend until I realised it was missing. Sad testimony to my social life, but all credit to Sajjit.

The ZootsI performed at The Double Decker with my band Jamie and the first class and we had a fantastic time. The decoration was brilliant, excellent atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommned!! I would love to go back!!
