Our first stop during this 1/2 day Dubai city tour was at this mosque, aka Blue Mosque. Inspired by the 17th century Sultan Ahmed Mosque, spanning over 8,700 square metres (Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey), funded by Dubai based businessman Khalaf Al Habtoor, this mosque was expanded again to become emirates biggest mosque.
