Great service and the price was good. Had a driver waiting for me at the airport for pick up. Breakfast is plenty and delicious, this was included for me in my reservation, it would cost about $35 per person if you had to pay for it. Highly recommended!

Long term parking facility is expensive than even any other rental parking in dubai. Around the airport parking is more cheaper. Staff at long term parking is arrogant. Not nice at all . Only Wastage of money.

The staff are very polite,the is some updating going on,my room 1094 was ok,but the carpet could do with being renewed,the bathroom really was not the best as the shower was just about adequate,the towel dispenser was all dented and was not straight,the basin tap was not long enough and water kept going everywhere.when I first used the shower there were hairs on the tiles,but I hope the room be updated soon and the bed was very comfortable.All the restaurants and bars that I used on the site were good as were the pools.

Stayed here with work for about 10 days, its a good hotel and provides a good base. The rooms are showing their age slightly and the furnishings are a little dated. They have a green points scheme which is good however you dont seem to be able to spend your points in the better restaurants, so UNICEF benefited from mine. There are plenty of eateries some are better than others the Lebanese, Indian and Thai all get my vote. There is a good general bar for drinks and people watching. There is then another bar which does not do much to hide the seedy side of life in Dubai. All in all a good base but a little out of town but monorail provides a good transport link.

I am SPG Gold member. Be advised that your SPG discount does not apply to all F&B at this location. Very unhappy, and only discovered this AFTER the fact. Should have been communicated at reception at check-in. ALSO... Took 3 Pina Coladas for them to make it correct. Staff at the bar are not always a "bartender". The room is very nice. Cleaning staff needs to be more observant. I displayed the indicator for room cleaning, and after 4 hours away from the room, no cleaning or removal of breakfast trolley. I dont know what is going on with this facility, but it is not good. I was here in 2014, and it was a much better experience. I only give it 3 stars for the room upgrade.

Several restaurants on the grounds werent disclosed to me upon arrival, and there was stains on the chair in my room and a dreadfully OLD showerhead. Other amenities ( gym/pool) were in good shape and the buffet was delicious.

I love this hotel - I stay on the Royal Club side- newer construction, booked through SPG website. The pool on the 5th floor has fantastic views. Service is impeccable- and the breakfast buffet is quite good- a great variety. The price for Royal Club rooms varies considerably-I try to look for deals when passing through Dubai, in transit in work trips. On my last stay I was there for less than 24 hours but it was with it- for the pool alone (there are several- one with lap lanes). Room decor is elegant. I liked the universal plugs. Shower is also great.

Expect old school 5-star luxury here. It is located bang opposite the Dubai International Airport making it tremendously convenient for travellers. With 18 restaurants and 4 swimming pools this property is by far one of the largest and most luxurious hotels in Dubai. They do a fantastic breakfast and depending on your room selection you are entitled to complimentary tea in the afternoons.

Location is right next to the airport, so if youre in and out of Dubai, its a great choice. Otherwise its a bit of a drive to the rest of the city. Its a large property and its always busy. There are tons of dining options here (18 at last count) and all are great. In particular, Seafood Market and Kiku are excellent dining options. If you want to splurge, try the Royal Club rooms which give you access to a special entrance, larger, more modern rooms and an exclusive pool.

Fist fights are common. No security at the hotel. Dangerous swamp. When contacting hotel deputy manager (incompetent) he couldnt do anything to help. Awful experience. Will tell everyone we know.

Stayed at the newer building and it was a very pleasant stay. Accommodations were large and tastefully furnished. Shower was awesome with rain shower and body sprays. Bathtub had jet sprays. There was a walk-in closet. Plenty of restaurants on the property though some are better than others. It is a long way from the city center and traffic in Dubai can get really bad. But, if you need to stay near the airport, this place is a pretty good choice.
