Meh. Im an American from New York who knows Mexican food. This aint it. Maybe it was once great, but not when I went there. Old chips, weak guacamole (poured too much lemon juice), and dull burritos. Better off at Baja Fresh at the Mall.

Great food and great ambiance. Ordered the Chimichanga which was one of the best I have had in Dubai. If you crave Tex-Mex food this is the place to visit. Great selection of drinks as well to accompany your meal. The staff were very friendly and very quick with the orders. Would highly recommend a visit.

This place used to be great. But the standard has slipped drastically. The drinks taste like they are made from yesterday and put in the fridge. The recipies are simply given to the indian chefs in the kitchen and rushed in. And thanks to the open plan kitchen i saw thw soup being heated up in the microwave with my own eyes. Used to be fresh mexican food (or at least it would taste that way) now just find somewhere else. Dissapointing. EDIT: just re-read this review and thought i was pretty harsh. Give it a try. The atmosphere is nice. Service is good and food is still ok. Its just not what it used to be a couple of years back.

Coming from Arizona, one timing I miss the most about home is good Mexican food. This place is as close to home as I e found overseas. I ordered the Carne Asada tacos, and the waiter suggested an off menu entree. The ribeye tacos were phenomenal...Spicy, tender steak that falls apart in your mouth, warm corn tortillas (the only proper tortilla for a street taco). Both salsas that came with my chips were good...one smoky, spicy chipotle and the other a milder salsa fresca. I thot this place at least once every time Im in Dubai.

Food was under expectation, beside the tables being not organized in a proper way. The supervisor of the waiters was rude by bringing the bill without us asking for it in order to leave the place. I personally would not like to come here again.

Had the most amazing steak tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas in a restaurant that wasnt in Mexico! Im usually very suspicious of "Mexican" themed restaurants as the can never get the right combinations of flavors but this place certainly has that covered! And their special blend hot sauce is possibly the tastiest sauce Iv ever had! Even though I was breathing fire for two days after having it! The decor is great and they sell traditional Mexican items in the restaurant as well! Their waiter Christian Sanchez made the atmosphere even better with his hilarious comments and real Mexican attitude! Certainly didnt expect to have found such a great Mexican place all the way in Dubai! Keep up the fantastic work you guys!

It used to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in the whole of the UAE. However, the last time we visited the place we had a big disappointment. What was it you might ask? A cockroach was served with our food. We asked for ice separately from our drinks, but to our surprise the roach had taken over the glass as a swimming pool. I gave it a 1 star because before this accident I would have given it a 5. The manager apologized and gave us free drinks. However, still not an excuse for this massive incident. The ice machine and any other cooking equipment should be clean more often.

I used to come here a little over 2 years ago and LOVED it...lately Ive been hearing its not the same so I decided to go check out for myself. I am so disappointed on how much the standards have dropped. The quality of food and drink was just terrible. I had to order sparkling water because I knew it was the only safe drink I could enjoy. I looked at the table next to me that had a couple sitting there they left their food nearly untouched.I was told management changed, so did the chefs and everything else.

This is the real Mexican Food. Excellent quality and Service. The furniture makes you feel like you were in Mexico. Maria Bonita is the first restaurant I ever encountered anywhere in the world that really serves you the food how it supposed to be. My personal tip ask for "Chilaquiles Verdes", which is not in the menu but can be prepared. I lived for 6 years in Mexico and that was my all time favorite.
