A bit of common courtesy would be to inform guests while booking that major facilities such as the pool would be under restoration during your visit. This however wasnt done, I have gone back though the booking and double checked. Given that one of the main criteria for my stay was a hotel with a pool I have to give 1 star for false advertising.
