A five star hotel very close to the Dubai mall. Professional staff. Lobby had the wow factor. Exclusive night club on top floor. Tallest hotel in the world - 70 odd floors in twin towers. Staff were very knowledgeable and courteous. It had all the trimmings of a five star hotel you would expect. My one downside would be the rooms (all things being relative). Bathroom was huge and king size bed comfy, large TV so cant really complain but I admit I was a little disappointed when I walked in. I decided to upgrade but all that meant was switching towers - the room was otherwise identical. Having stayed in other five star hotels in Dubai at similar price points I had expected a little more (this isnt a criticism, just my observation).

Worlds Tallest Hotel.. I have stayed there 3 times , on my every visit to Dubai its my first choice to stay in JW Marriott Marquis Hotel. Best ambience and state of the art facilities. The staff if very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend if you can afford such luxury.

This hotel is amazing! The staff is super friendly and helpful; the breakfast at Kitchen 6 is the best Ive ever had, with such quality and incredible variety; the rooms are amazing: upon arrival (we had early check-in at 8:00) our suite was not ready, so we went to a deluxe to freshen up and it was very nice, even though not as amazing as our suite. The view from the 48th floor was lovely, we could see the Burn Khalifa! The shuttle to the Dubai Mall was very handy. The Vault was great, and there was so much variety of restaurants to chose from. Overall it was a great experience and we would love to come back one day!

I normally would not take the time to pen a review for a Marriott, however the experience was so wonderful, I felt I needed to post. From the arrival (we arrived very early), they had a room waiting for us and one of the staff, Rodel, recognized the name on arrival as an early check in. His service, as well as the entire staff was better than I have experienced at any Marriott, and quite possibly anywhere. Room was comfortable, and very nice. Too many restaurants to choose from as well. An all around great experience, and I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.

Were do I start... The best hotel in the world, this is truly what is on the tin 5*. My room was spacious, clean, the best house keeper for room 1106 (shout out to Daniel). The kitchen staffs were superb especially Rotendo, she ensured we were ok and have everything we needed. Kevin from the gym ensured I was using the equipment correctly and was there to give nutritional advise even though that is not part of his job description. Overall the experience was the best and I cannot want to tell all my friends and the rest of the family. I will be back in 2018.

The last time I was in this hotel a few years ago, I had a terrible experience and vowed never to come back. However I recently returned for an event and they have stepped their game all the way up, which may or may not be related to the competition that recently opened up next door. Either way - Great staff eager to help you - check! Great restaurant options - check! Amazing food - check! Lovely rooms - check! I usually leave a tip for housekeeping every morning in hotels but for the first time since Ive been staying in hotels, the tip was left behind with a lovely note from housekeeping. Yes I was impressed this visit. I really hope they keep this up. Ill definitely be back soon!

A Great Hotel. It is the tallest in the world! The view was amazing and the rooms are not that big; but, the room service and the atmosphere is amazing. If you have a night to spare I would recommend visiting the restaurant on the 50th floor on Tower A.

Though the bed and decor are comfy, I have to say as a luxurious hotel, some receptionists are offensive and unpatronizing. I came for a conference, booked the earliest and paid for the room before my arrival, but they did not let me check in early like my colleagues. They were allowed to check in at 9 am but I had to wait till 3 pm!! I hadnt touched a bed for more than 48 h. All they said is Try to understand. We receive more than 400 guests. If they couldnt handle the load of conference, they shouldnt.

Stunning hotel, fantastic staff. Cant recommend highly enough. The accommodation is spacious and well designed, the restaurants are all exceptionally high quality and the level of customer care is out of this world. I recommend you try the Thai and Indian restaurants and a visit to the Vault up on the 78th floor is an absolute must. Will definitely be returning!

i stayed here for work (lucky me). the rooms are generous and staff incredibly helpful. the room attendants are just wonderful - require extra bath salts? not a problem. the breakfast area was overwhelming in what was available - but once again the staff are divine. the coffee is great (important for early morning starts). for a fabulous dining experience head up to prime68. a sublime restaurant that serves the most memorable steak.

Mixed feelings. Personally I dont appreciate being a resident at a hotel that requests I pay a daily fee for internet usage, but thats personal preference, and had I made my own booking I probably would not have chosen to stay there. I think the electronic room is unnecessarily complicated. But rooms are clean, staff are friendly, a wide variety of facilities available, food is good, and location is great. So, mixed feelings.

I have stayed at several hotels in Dubai. After staying at the Marquis a couple of years ago, I havent thought twice about staying anywhere else. Their staff is so friendly and attentive. The entire facility is beautiful. I was especially impressed with my housekeeper Ana Lee. She was so friendly and took excellent care of me while I stayed there. The central location is only minutes from the mall and Burj Khalifa. I highly suggest grabbing pastries from the cafe downstairs if you need a snack. If youre flying into the Dubai airport, the hotel offers a car service to pick you for a nominal fee. When you arrive in their car, youre greeted by a host who will take you directly to your room and you can skip the front counter. Well worth it!

Thought I was getting checked in as quick as possible through good customer service, but turns out was paying for an upgrade for my entire stay at JW Marriott Dubai. I had already prebooked and prepaid online, not happy to have extra charges to pay when checking out.

Buffet could use a pinch of extra variety in food offered but its good all-in-all. Hotels a bit busy but that could be an advantage or a disadvantage depending on what youre looking for, but either way it wasnt a hindrance at all. Free valet parking.

I would like to thank Shyam and his team, Valerie, Nikita and Gopi who helped me settle in the hotel with everything I needed and delivering exceptional service by paying attention to the smallest details. It’s the best luxury hotel in Dubai with wow factor customer service. Massive thank you to all. I would rate this the only 7 star hotel in Dubai. The room is spacious with everything you need and very clean, has nice view, the deco of the room is beautiful, bed is large and very comfortable, and the bathroom is very large which has walk in shower, large bath. Every time I went to the room there was dates and water which I thought was fantastic idea.

The breakfast at Kitchen6 on the first floor, was a great experience. They had 6 kitchens serving variety of breakfasts including continental, american, thai and indian. The restaurant is kind of oddly laid out so you have to explore all the kitchens, some of which are in corner A and others in a different corner. The choice was both superb and delicious and included all you could ever desire from a breakfast. Mix and match from the 6 kitchens and make yourself a hearty meal. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

They are extremely professional which is good. But the warmth is missing. Lots of tiny goof ups in maintaining room standards which you wouldnt expect from a JW. I did let them know but their approach was more casual that showing any sense of urgency. I just feel they are overwhelmed by the fact that they are fully booked and do not know how to provide a personalized touch.

The hotel is in a great location and has a wide variety of restaurants. You will have great view of Dubai. The service good but not good but not great. Because the hotel is so big you will wait quite some time at the elevators and the service will be quite slow. The keys dont always work and I had 2 keys replaced during my 4 day stay and it is really annoying when you have to wait for elevators then.

The hotel is always super busy so getting any service takes time. Check-in and check-out, especially at peak times, can take up to 30 minutes. The breakfast spread on the first floor is very large and well-stocked, but finding a table can be difficult. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, but lack the luxury or 5-star touch. For example, there are no plug points next to the bed available for use (the only one there is a non-universal one used by the bedside lamp), and you cant use the hairdryer in the bathroom because theres no plug. The two rooms we had both had a balcony, but its not accessible (for safety reasons), but this spoils the view. For the worlds tallest hotel, this is not ideal. Overall, its a good hotel thats well located and comfortable, but its service and decor shortcomings make it inferior to its competition, which is very stiff in Dubai.

Had the most amazing experience at the JW Marquis Dubai, beautiful hotel, amazing staff that made our stay memorable. Maxon Kevin made all the difference, one day after we checked in on the 66th floor, I realized I couldnt handle the hight and asked to be switch to a lower floor, the hotel was fully booked but Maxon kept an eye on the inventory all day and managed to find us a room on a lower floor and arranged for our transfer to be as smooth as possible. He later personally checked on us to find out if we were okay, and left us a note to contact him if we needed anything else - only someone dedicated to his job would do this. JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is lucky to have Maxon on their team. Sent from my iPad

As a common man I really dont appreciate such harsh behavioral pattern from an employer. He drops my CV on the floor and tells me to go home merely because I dont have experience in hotels? What about the hours I spent waiting for the opportunity. I could be turned down politely. Give my CV back if possible. Liked it, not loved it The food was good, but not spectacular. The best part of the meal was not the steak but rather the crab cakes, which was delicious. It was disappointing when you ask a steakhouse to bring out rare and they bring you medium. I would expect that from an average restaurant, not a steakhouse. The amouse bouche however was delicious.

A great symphony by Jw Marriott. Since arriving until leaving everything was perfect. Very professional and helpful staff they did everything we asked for with smile, we asked for a higher floor room with a sea view and got it, we asked for the internet in the room and since I am a Jw Marriott member we got it, we asked for a late check out and we also got it. They have also surprised my sister with a cake on her birthday by themselves as surprise for all of us . Great, great hotel definitely comming back.

Of all the hotels ive been visiting troughout the years, this one stands out when it comes to good service. The staff members are friendly and very polite and does their best in helping you out, wheter thats fidning your way inside the hotel or getting you a cab or carrying your bags ^^. The rooms are superb with plenty of good space and they are well-cleaned and maintained. The location is pretty good aswell. Not very far from Burj Khalifa or Dubai Mall, but its a 15-20-min ride to the marina for example. The negative thing about the Marquis is the lack of good bars. The Vault skybar is unique and good looking, but the other bars in the hotel are mediocre at best.

The desk have universal plugs. Great price on the spa and had a blow out for my hair....

This hotel is my favourite one in Dubai. Already the two towers make the hotel unique and you cant replace it with any other. View is also beautiful and from many apartments or rooms you can see the Burj Khalifa. Newly builded creek will bring also lot of benefits to this area which seems to be a little bit abandoned. I would expect something more - like a clean bathroom - when I pay like 300 EUR per night. Shower had blight in the corners. It is 2016, so not totally ok with paying for the wifi. Anyway hotel is huge, tallest on Earth and looking modern. For some reason balcony door cannot be opened - for my safety they say - but if it is there, I would expect it is there to be used.

Not need to go anywhere else. The hotels has 13 restaurants to meet anyones appetite pleasures, multi-cultural and knowledgeable staff, great sports bars and clubs. The only issue I had was with the beds! You cant make a bed that comfortable and expect business clients to go to work(dont worry, its a good thing). Love the JW Marriott Marquis and Ill definitely be back. Thanks staff at JW Marriott Marquis!!

Been to Dubai several times but my first time in this hotel. In a word, its huge! the rooms are nice and spacious, new and modern, the staff were very friendly and they had a nice variety for breakfast. Great location as well, 5 min drive from Dubai Mall and right on the main highway. However, because the large number of rooms the hotel has, there are a lot of guests, so you feel like its crowded all the times, especially during breakfast. Thats not really a deal break for me tho, would definitely stay there again.

The staff really make a difference in this property. We experienced three different staff members whose service made a great impact to our experience. Checking in to the property was made simple and engaging by April (who happens to be a trainee). Her warmth, advice and sincerity made us feel welcomed and assisted us in structuring our plan for seeing Dubai. April went above and beyond by providing us insight into the the local Emirati culture which helped us learn a little more about the in/outs of life in the United Arab Emirates. Our stay began perfectly just by the kindness and assistance of April. The property is magnificent with a constant hustle and bustle of activity occurring in the lobby. The decor is clean and elegant with the staff paying close attention to the guests in order to ensure every detail is taken care of. Another notable staff member was the Concierge, Rachy. During our conversation with her, she suggested the different locations to visit with specific times that aligned with our travel plans. From places to eat to where to take pictures of the Burj Khalifa from afar, Rachy was a subject matter expert; we found her engaging, helpful and sincere. Lastly was Sam, one of the luggage handlers. His keen humor and quick wit during our interaction on the elevator made us all smile. He assisted us with directions to the restaurants and bars located inside the property. The rooms were decorated with a modern flair and are very clean. The only 2 suggestions I can make is; first, improve the responsiveness of the light controls in the rooms. While the light controls work, they lack quick responsiveness to ones touch and therefore can easily cycle through various lighting environments before you reach your ideal lighting. Secondly, implement a toaster that rotates the toasts in the breakfast area. The current toaster, which is the traditional insert, toast and pop up type was confusing to use and therefore in our experience no one stopped to use it. The few people that did use it, had their toasts stuck in the toaster.

It was our 3rd wedding anniversary yesterday (15 July 14) and I booked a table at the Prime 68 restaurant on the 68th floor. I asked for a table by the window and we were given one with exquisite views of the downtown area. The restaurant was impeccable; loved the black & white pics of 50s & 60s iconic celebrities. The staff were friendly and courteous, especially our server, Steve, he was indeed a very pleasant young man. For starters, we shared the Wagyu meat balls, which were lovely. For mains, my husband had the rib-eye steak and I had the salmon, both were amazing. The sides were delicious - baked potato wedges, glazed carrots and ; asparagus; all perfectly done! We were too full and didnt want any dessert, however, Steve brought us a piece of cherry cheesecake with the words "Happy Anniversary"on it and they also gave us an Anniversary card, so thoughtful; we were indeed touched. The only downside was that we didnt get our wine till 8pm (our reservation was for 7pm!) due to Ramadan. All round, an awesome experience and a fantastic evening was had by us. Highly recommended to anybody who wants to experience hospitality at its best! Thank you very much, Steve, and JW Marriott Marquis for making our evening extra special.

Located on the 4th floor in JW Marriot Marquis at the end of a long hallway, Tong Thai is a renowned to serve the best thai food in Dubai. To start with, the decoration is simple yet special with red lightings giving a soul to the place. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and serve you quickly. For appetizers, we went for the Chor Muang,the steamed caramelizer chicken dumpling marinated in peanut butter which was so delicious without being too sweet. We also had the Gai Hor Bai Tuey, the Marinated Chicken in Pandan leaf with a sweet and sour sauce was as good as well. For the main course, we ordered the Marinated Wagu Beef with dried chili dip. The beef was juicy, tender and the chili dip complemented it perfectly. We also had their famous creamy tiger prawn curry with peanut chili sauce. It was really delicious but a bit too sweet i shall admit. Finally for the dessert, we shared their banana pudding. The banana is filled with hazelnut and dipped in caramel topped with thai mango custard and fresh mango. It was sooo good, delicious and not too heavy! Definitely a recommended placed if youre a fan of the Thai cuisine.

Marriott Marquis is a huge place. With 1600 rooms check in and getting an elevator can take at busier times for ages. The same goes for getting your car from the valet parking. Shighty smaller places near (e.g. Oberoi) could fair better simply by their more humane size.

This Place has GONE DOWNHILL BIG TIME, WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN I stayed at this used-to-be good hotel around 5th January and god has it GONE DOWNHILL 1) No recognition to Platinum Elites. They will try to make you pay for whatever you are entitled to just so they can get more money out of you and clean your wallet. They charged me $60 for a FEW LOCAL CALLS I made. I told them those are platinum benefits to which they said "not in Dubai"! 2) The Executive Lounge told me I can have breakfast in the restaurant so I did for the 4 nights stay but on checkout I was hit with a whopping $300 in breakfast charges! When I told them this was an error they called a "supervisor" and next thing I know I was dealing with this INCOMPETENT NON CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED "DIRECTOR" by the name of SHYAM [--]who BLACKMAILED me and said after a discussion that if I dont pay the breakfast charge he would "call the police" 3) The executive lounge used to have an extensive snack / food menue early last year. But it seems that this year all this hotel cares about is "REVENUE" How to get the most from us the customers by offering the least. So the entire quality of food at the executive lounge is reduced, they used to offer essentially a full dinner now its tiny snack plates (The Crown Plaza Dubai, a 4 star hotel has a better selection in their executive lounge than Marriotts top hotel in Dubai, this CHEAPSKATE, RIP OFF JW MARRIOTT MARQUIS 4) The area all around is under construction its like you live in a development site 5)The pool is tiny compared to the size of the hotel 6) The hotel should organize beach passes for guests who want to go to the beach - why would anyone want to stay at this place if all they have are dirty public beaches and a tiny pool that is in the shade most of the time as its engulfed by the 2 towers that make up the "wolds tallest hotel" 7) The lobby is full of washed up ugly disgusting hookers sitting down near the door entrance doors to greet you if you have to sit down in the lobby. Management too busy milking their customers and not caring about the hotels image or reputation. DISGUSTING 8) Beds are too hard I had back problems every day I DESPISE THIS HOTEL NOW AFTER MY LAST STAY AND WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. THERE ARE FAAAAR BETTER OPTIONS TO STAY IN DUBAI AS I CAME TO REALIZE AFTER CHECKING OUT SOME OF THE OTHER FINE HOTELS IN DUBAI SINCE I HAD MY STAY.

My wife and I spent 5 days at this hotel in late October 2013, and the entire 5-day experience was magical. I would say a 5 star experience. All of the staff were friendly and courteous, from the hostess who greeted us at checkin, to the manager who upgraded us to a suite, to the bellhop who was smiling all the time, to the concierge staff who got me a great deal on tickets to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, to the Executive lounge staff who surprised us every day with their daily concoctions for happy hour. All in all, a wonderful experience.

كنت دائما احس بالاطمئنان أنا وعائلتي في هذا الفندق حتى حدث معي ان استخدمت المصعد خلال وقت النهار وكان معي شخصين مخمورين تماما وكدت اشتبك معهم. المؤسف بأنني أصبحت لا اثق في الأمان في هذا الفندق لعائلتي والتي من الممكن ان يتعرضوا لنفس الموقف وهم بمفردهم. أبلغت ادارة الفندق فورا ووعدوا بالتفاعل والتحقيق في الأمر والرجوع لي لكن وبعد أسبوعين من الحادثة لم يحدث اَي تواصل أو رد فعل منهم وهو ما يعكس عدم اهتمامهم بأمن النزلاء في فندقهم.
