Ali AlmudahkaWonderful place to relax and enjoy weekends, especially if you like horses then you will definitely love it. I took 2 bedrooms villa with private pool, its well arranged and i would give it 5 stars but due to it lack children swimming pool and the private pool too deep for them. Its far from the city but there some shopping malls like mirdef city center and dragon mart. I do recommend it and hopefully in future they can add children swimming pool and adjust the private pool for children.

Nasser AlnassrI had a very bad experience with Desert Palm, they cancelled my booking without valid reason and I booked again however the price was more than SR 3,000 higher for 2 nights. After that, they cancelled my booking 14 hrs earlier than check in.

Adam HurstTheyve just relaunched Rare - their high-end restaurant, and its great. The rest of the hotel is much the same as it has been since we got married there in 2012 which is good as its a great hotel. Nice to be around so much greenery. It is a little bit of a drive but well worth it.

Najah Al ZaabiI liked it because the beautiful features and its looks historical some how. Villa is well clean however the swimming pool area is not so clean maybe due to weather there are insects. But all over its great experience.

Jay ChenComing from western lifestyle, these settings seemed to be the usual, but my local friend loved it so much. Its greeny. With horses. And flowers. Residential houses are big and streets are clean.

Sheila JahanFor someone who is a world traveler and has stayed at numerous five star resorts, this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. First off, there was a constant plumbing issue with our toilet and despite multiple complaints, no one fixed it. The wifi connection is very weak and all international communication services as blocked (such as IMO, whatsapp, even facetime!) so forget getting in touch with love ones during the holiday season. The resort claims to offer multiple international tv channels, however none work consistently. My family and I were watching the news and suddenly connection would be lost for hours. When we complained, the IT manager just told us that they were "having temporary issues with the service" however these were never resolved during our stay. Having your room cleaned in the morning is another issue. We would come back to our room around 3 pm and our room was still not cleaned. Only after complaining and raising our voices, did the staff get our room cleaned. The resort is an overall disappointment. Communication between staff is very poor and you really feel like your voice as a guest is never heard. Such a shame. Be wise and chose somewhere else to stay. Avoid at all costs.

Monica KapilaWhere is the Desert Palm? The Desert Palm is a boutique hotel and spa with 2 restaurants, a riding school for the disabled and a fully fledged polo facility with 400 or so horses. We had the Friday brunch at their restaurant Rare which overlooks the polo fields. It’s on the Hatta road, past Dragon mart and the plant souk area of Warsan. There is no traffic on a Friday. We have also had tea at their restaurant Epicure on an earlier occasion. Food at the Desert Palm Brunch? The brunch comprises of fresh oysters, a wide variety of sushi, salads, hot appetizers like prawn tempura as well as an array of live cooking stations. I opted for oysters, sushi, some prawn tempura and then I chose the truffle risotto with chilli for my main course. There was plenty of barbecued meat and fresh pasta all being made to order at live cooking stations. Ambience at Desert Palm Brunch The Desert Palm is a smart place but it has an elegant yet laid back feel about it, so do dress to impress but make sure you’re comfortable. Gents, wear your fanciest and most genuine polo shirts! The fact you’re eating on the polo terrace takes away some of the formality of the occasion but the food, drink and service is top class. Best thing about the Desert Palm Brunch I LOVED this brunch, from the Tattinger champagne and oysters to begin with to the fact that almost all your food was made fresh to order for you despite it being a buffet brunch. The mushroom truffle risotto was one of the best I have tasted. The oysters and sushi were all very fresh and of excellent quality. The stable tour afterwards really added something special to the end of this brunch. Well worth the journey out towards Warsan. The only thing I thought could have been improved were the desserts, I thought the desserts at the Bushman Anantara were of a higher standard and would have complemented the fabulous food on offer at the Desert Palm. Deal at the Desert Palm Brunch Dhs 395 for lunch with an impressive selection of drinks, and Dhs 295 for brunch with non alcoholic cocktails. The price also includes coffees afterwards. The stable tour is included, but you may have to wait for the buggies to become available to take you round. This is the PERFECT brunch for a special occasion. I have no hesitation in recommending it. Do go soon while you can sit outside.
