Phil MAbsolutely terrible. I would give zero stars if possible. I bought car insurance through an agent at one of the RTA registration centres after buying a second hand car. I had a minor collision and I could not get through to Methaq. I ended up taking the car to a repair shop and paying for it myself. I have no idea how anyone involved in a more serious incident manages.

We are awaiting since last 6 months for the insurance to be settled. Nobody responds or bothers. Nothing happens at all. I made an accident in February and after 10 visits to their offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, regular calls (which nobody answers), emails, complains to the insurance authority, I got my money by the end of July. I can see that I am not the only one, they are taking 3 months just to release a cheque for the damages their insured vehicle done to my car. If anyone needs any proof for what I am saying here, contact me and I will give you all the paperwork. Or try to dial their number and check if anyone will answer your call, except for the reception and insurance services "of course, income!". But you are lucky if motor claims and other department answer your call.

While surveying your vehicle, they do not want to talk to you and they do not want to listen to you. I was horrified more when I went to the garage and realized that they have not communicated / mentioned the repair work that needs to be carried out with garage. I had to make several calls to these surveyors again to look into the problem. They behave as if they are doing me a favour. I have been their customer for the last five years without a single claim. And the first claim after five years gave me realization that Im buying my insurance from unprofessional people. Ill look for a better insurer next time when I have to buy insurance in September. Im definitely not going to deal with these people.

David HeymanThis is the worst car insurance I can imagine. if I could give 0 stars I would give zero. My car broke down and I had full insurance and road assistance. I called 4 times to get through to anybody and I was told that methaq had cancelled road assistance, even though its in my signed contract. The staff were very rude and left me completely hanging in the middle of the road, 200km from my home. I had to pay for everything myself and despite repeated calls the staff dont take responsibility, dont provide any written contact information, refuse to provide any staff names and dont call back. If I didnt take so much effort I would file a court case against Methaq!

Was only 2 days repair. All the management is worst. No one will listen you when you are in their office. Their managers are liars and all the garages they award work, managers eat commission and does the cheapest quality work. I am so fed up that thinking after they repair my car, i will take it to their office and break it there to show the world. 40 days and counting and they are doing cheapest quality work. Never ever buy this.

DannX4484These people a scam artists. They will make you pay high sums even when police reports declare other party at fault. They will use the other insurance company to pay for the repair and still ask you to pay hefty amounts. They are also trained to ignore phone calls.

I soon discovered that they dont have a branch in sharjah, I called their branch in Dubai but they never answered! I called every branch until Abu Dhabi answered and told me to try calling Dubais branch again. Three days later when they finally picked up, I told them that I need a truck to pick my car up because it was undrivable. They told me and I qoute! "You will have to manage bringing your car to us" I am a student in Sharjah and dont have the time to do all that. They did not care. A friend of mine went there in dubais branch and found that most their customer/victims are from sharjah. Their office in Dubai is a mess, and manager is unprofessional and often blames the customer. Which is what happened to me and my friend.
