Not a big fan of the indoor design but its really personal. The service is also a bit poor for such a high standard hotel. I would not recommend it. The St Régis next to it seems a bit better.

I arrived in Dubai on Thursday 11th of May 2017, and I had one of the worst hotel experiences in my life. I stayed at the W Hotel Haptoor city, which is supposed to be a good hotel but apparently the worst Ive experienced yet. The first thing that happened to me is that the reception lady was supposed to charge me, in total 4500 AED and I was surprised that she charged me 5000 AED and when I confronted the manager he told me that it was just mistake a. Is that a professional 5 star hotel treatment? I call this manipulation. My second situation, my brother tried to visit me at the hotel, they asked for his ID which he showed them. they told me to come down and pick him up which I did but they told me they cant let him because they wanted to see an Arabic ID which I find extremely ridiculous because the ID was actually in Arabic. They didnt let my brother in after all. and the worst part of all of this is that the manager was extremely rude and disrespectful to me and my brother. At the end, my plan was to visit dubai and enjoy the city, and see my brother which I havent seen in over a year. but I was shocked by this sort of treatment . They have ruined my experience and overall, I can truly say that the W HOTEL HAPTOOR CITY is the worst hotel and I dont recommend it to anyone.

Very trendy and alternative hotel, catering for the young affluent crowd. The style is fun and quirky - not your normal hotel box!However food was mediocre and v slow, plus the music in the bar/restaurant/reception was way too loud. No gym or pool on site - you need to use the St Regis next door, where the Patio restaurant was a massive improvement.

Very good hotel with design rooms. Location is making taxi mandatory as there is nothing around at the moment, but Dubai Downtown area is 10/15mn away by taxi.

Im a very loyal SPG member, but W Dubai was one of my worst W Hotels experience, it dose not have the WoW Factor, staff are unhelpful and rooms are not W standard. I have filled a survey with SPG 3 days ago and till date no one even replied or called!! Not recommended at all

We call the in the hotel we wanted to make a reservation for the Club "Boa" ,the call was answered by Filip we ask him that we want to make a reservation for tonight.He told as that we dont need any reservation.As we spoke to him we went there and we was waiting in line for going inside once we reached the security ask us to wait and ask us for reservation.we told him that we spoke to Filip and then he ask us to wait till the hostes "Emily" came and check on us if we are proper dressed and she figured that all is ok then she ask us about do we have reservation and again we explain that we call Filip and she said if you are not on the guest list i canot let you inside i ask her why she said that they are very busy.They have lots of booking and we told her again that we call to make reservation and Filip told as we dont need one.Im very disappointed about such a new hotel like "W Hotel Mariot" big chain part of Mariot group to have this kind of service and hospitality and the hostes she was looking at us like she is discussed rather then have a welcoming face.
