After a long 36+ hours of travel all I wanted was a shower and a place to store my bags for my 10 hour layover. I called Roda Al Bustan and they could not have been more accommodating. They let me book a room for early check-in (9am) and made sure I had everything I needed to feel refreshed. I will definitely visit them again the next time Im in Dubai. Special thanks to Jonathan and Michael for my refreshing 5 star experience!

Lovely 5-star hotel a few minutes drive away from the airport. It has a fitness center, pool, and nice clean rooms. When waiting to check in, they provide you with Catalan wine and a beautiful lobby area. Its very small, with only 4 floors and the building is older. Located in the heart of old Dubai, its a lovely place to stay! Makan is also a delicious buffet with lots of variety.

I stayed here while on a layover, the staff at the front desk were very accommodating and offered to change my scheduled pickup time to return to the airport for my flight. The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. I feel that I would enjoy a longer-term stay here if I were to be traveling to Dubai.

Had a 15 hour layover in Dubai and Emirates gave me a room here as a part of their Dubai Connect program for business class travelers. I asked for a non smoking room and the room they gave me first was non smoking but had extremely strong smoking smell as if someone had just smoked there. When I complained about it they changed my room and gave me another non smoking room which was fine. I also had lunch and dinner at the Makan restaurant there and the buffet was fine. Not very high end but tasted good. The room did not have enough charging ports and the connections required an adapter for US. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. Its fine for an overnight stay.

My third stay at the hotel and definitely not the last. Hands down the best hotel Ive ever stayed at. Very friendly and helpful staff, great environment, wonderful breakfast buffet and a cozy pool. Whenever someone mentions Dubai, I recommend this place.

“Great transit hotel” We had a short transit in Dubai and Emirates put us up at the Rotana. Staff are very efficient at making sure you get the maximum time to rest & recover before your next flight, including a standard wake-up call to make sure you do not miss your airport shuttle. A bit disappointing that the hotel does not have free WiFi though. Stayed September 2015

I stayed in Roda Al Bustan Hotel in Dubai last week, unfortunately it was a bitter experience: Firstly, I reached hotel very early in the morning (02:00 AM) because of my flight schedule and, although I had written confirmation of the booking, I was told hotel was completely sold out and I had to move to another hotel. Secondly, when trying to order something to Room Service, hotel rejected to charge room service to my room but I had to pay at the moment of being served; ie., I had no credit at hotel. Although hotel was great, will never come back, extremly poor service and very bad customers care

I rate the Rotana chain highly. It was my second short stay at this Rotana location and I rate the Al Bustan Rotana highly too! Spacious room and a GREAT service from all staff - from the room service and housekeeping teams to the main reception and door staff (such as Rahman who appeared to remember me from a very short previous visit).

Very unprofessional, my flight got cancelled due to weather conditions in the U.K. and I tried to get a refund as I was not sure what Id be doing. Very uncooperative. Beware before you book with them as they are not at all understanding and charge you the full amount even if you arent able to make it.

Wonderful hotel with all amenities. Rooms are clean and spacious. 5 mins to the airport and shopping is within 10 mins drive. Mosque is 7 mins walk. Lots of open car parking. Staff at the hotel are friendly and always willing to help. Special thanks to all the staff at the breakfast including Andy, Shawn,. Aamir, Melissa, Ayman also the staff at the Blue Elephant restaurant; Del, Yulia and Michael at the check in desk; Brain and Diana at the reception and Intizar for house keeping.
