Rifa BasherI met with Dr. Amit Kumer (eye doctor) for my severely infected eyes. After taking his medicine my eyes infection and side effects improved drastically. Besides he told me the details of my disease that no other doctor told during the month I suffered the disease. Thank you doctor. Besides the pharmacist (I couldn’t marked her name) packed me a medicine that was heat sensitive, in my 20 years life in Dubai I never seen such a sincere about medicine like her.

Shabbir JivanjeeMy assumption from reading all the reviews is that I dont think anyone would be comfortable putting there lives at risk with NMC. Secondly the responses from NMC are so generic, it makes you laugh...I have had a bad expecrience and I write this while in excoriating pain...I spent the whole of Thursday evening at the hospital, did some tests and the Urologist didnt have the desency to tell me my results..only to find out from another doctor that I was referred to that I visited on Saturday that the results where positive and I needed to take some antibiotics, actually telling me that the previous doctor should have called me. I am now seeking a second opinion, because I feel that the doctors are not really concerned in resolving your issue, they at more interesting in getting over and done with you so that they can see the next victim..its either there remuneration is linked to the number of people they see or something weird like that but there is definitely something wrong, and yes the facilities are decent but they dont have the right people to look after it or manage it....i would also assume that parking, valet should not be a reason to go to a hospital but the quality of doctors, all the rest is secondary...

DionThe hospital needs a major overhaul, the curtains in the emergency unit were yellow but now they have grey edges and splatters of who knows what, the furniture in the emergency unit and the main hospital needs updating badly, stickers are peeling, furniture is dirty, the staff range from very nice to down right terrible. As a hospital that is directly across from the Green community and meant to service the residents in that area I expected more. Further for NMC DIP to be on the level of other hospitals in Dubai major changes need to be made to the facade and services.

Cristina LoboThe slowest service ever! It is a shame to have such a hospital in Dubai. There is zero communication and coordination between doctor and nurses! We waited in emergency for 3 hours and I dont even want to waste the time to enter in details! Its not worth it!

Sami khanWorst emergency ever. Super slow. Waiting in emergency upto 1.5 hrs. I dont even umderstand how they can be so slow. No emergency beds available , which I experienced twice in a week. It takes more than forty min just to prepare payment receipt that too when its in cash.

JAWDAT KhatibMy appointment was cancelled and it was rescheduled as walk in. I came 15 mins earlier as advised however the receptionist only look into my card only after 15 mins of arrival causing me to wait too much. However the doctor was very nice and helpful, Dr. Mohammad Selim.

Rua KamalI had the best experience in ICU. I couldnt justify enough through words the excellence of THE DOCTORS specialized ICU, surgery as well as pulmonary. The mobilized equipments such as X-rays were very comfortable for patients not to move around. Moreover, the outstanding professional experience with dr Sunil and dr Mahesh and of course the nurses and the rest of the staff isnt forgettable. Hospitality was amazing. Im forever grateful. Thank you.

SANIL EDAKKEPRAVANAm not satisfied your service leval.As per doctor Ms.Harini(Dental) need a small surgery for my daughter and last 07days am waiting for pre approval for .As per my insurance company still didnt received any request form NMC DIP and as per them max 10 minutes only will take to reply once request received(approved or rejected)

Niyas AhmedI was working in UAE last 7 years i didnt see this much Worst hospital ever before. i was gone of Orthopedics Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Selim a 04/02/2017 (8) days before doctor recommend MRI scan he told that 4 days to took the approval for insurance still no reply from hospital. i was suffering from severe pain when i call to hospital there is no proper response from them.

Anu ArunHospital is very neat and hospitality also very nice... but a very bad experience was, there is no seperate feeding room for the small babies... many families are visiting this hospital, there must be one feeding atleast in such a big hospital... hope the management takes necessary steps..

youssef GzaraI am surprised to see some people complaining about NMC hospital DIP. Personally, it is my favorite hospital ever and I would give it more than 5 stars. Ive had many consultations there, from dermato, gastro and surgery department, and I am always happy to be there. Best doctors ever, friendly and give a lot of attention to the patient. All the staff are so friendly as well, organised and always available to assist and help. The hospital is very clean and you always can park in the basement parking. I will always go there and I highly recommend NMC hospital, definetly.

M RezAbsolutely a joke of a hospital. I had the misfortune of going there twice because I was staying nearby. First time they told me I had an infection and after making me pay for all kinds of tests which showed I had no infection, they just prescribed a bunch of antibiotics for me and said take it anyway and see what happens!! Second time was more pathetic where my 1 year old niece was screaming and crying all night. First the so called doctor expects us to tell him what is wrong with her and then after a very disinterested check up he says she probably has stomach problems and gives us some over the counter stuff. Next day she got checked by an actual doctor whom immediately diagnosed her with a severe ear infection, he was shocked that a medical professional was unable to see this. On top of all this it took them 1 hour!!! Just to process our payment!! They have misunderstood the concept of a hospital and thought they were building a hotel!! Yes the building is clean and new with valet services, but I think they also hired hotel staff as doctors! Please NMC DIP, in the interest of public safety, close down and start operating as a hotel.

I have struggled constantly with the billing department charging me again for follow-ups. An example - the doctor suggests to do a follow-up for my six year old to see if the ear infection has fully healed, we felt initially as a good idea only to figure out we are being billed again. We have a good insurance and do not pay a large copay, however this smells of a money making excuse on the part of the hospital. My sons symptoms kept returning after multiple visits and the combination of the Doctor and treatment meted by admin staff made us choose another clinic / Doctor...

Az ShlI had a bad foot injury and we had no choice only to go to NMC hospital in DIP. Nice hospital, very clean and friendly staff but I am not at all happy with the doctor. Dr. Ramchand recommended an X-ray and even if my foot was badly swollen and I was not able to walk. She told me ur X-ray doesnt show any fracture, take rest for couple of days and then get back to work. Day after I had to go to another hospital ( Saudi German hospital), the moment I was in they took another 3 X-ray and immediately the doctor visited and showed the x-ray and I had a fracture on top of my foot. The doctor gave me 3 weeks full rest and did half cast plaster until the swelling is gone to put the full cast plaster. Thank God I check with the other doctor otherwise this could have caused serious issue on my foot later. Please make sure your doctors in NMC Hospital are reliable and responsible to the patient. Not only working for money.

shahzad mahmoodI was very much disappointed on the fact that 5 min before the appointment time I received a calll starting that the doctor appointment is cancelled. Having said this the receptionist promised to call back but didnt. Not the least when I called back a guy picked up stating I am GRO speaking and I would call you back even that person didnt call back. This kind of customer service is so not acceptable. I would never advise anyone to go to NMC Dip. I dont feel like giving them any star.

Lakshmi NairI Warn everyone against visiting this hospital... Please refrain from seeking treatment at NMC if you value your life and money! They have the most negligent staff ever. Though many of my friends have had bad experiences here, i wish to share the latest and worst one we faced. Few days back my room-mate spotted some boil like sprouts on her stomach,arms and neck so she suspected it could be chicken pox & decided to get tested at NMC which is right in front of our residence(only reason we decided to go to them) . When we went there & told of our suspicions the nurses and attendant started to run away saying it could spread on to them as well. One of those nurses claimed to be pregnant which was justifiable. We consulted a doctor who is apparently a specialist dermatologist. He asked my friend her problem and without any further test than looking at her boils or even asking for a blood test, confirmed that she indeed has chicken pox and prescribed a load of medicines to be had for 15 days + extra money was spent on consultation and obtaining a medical leave certificate. My friend was too upset as she is on her probation period and taking a leave could prove disastrous to her job. Finally her employer permitted & she decided to leave for India to to avoid spreading the virus to others. In India when she went for a second opinion with a doctor at her hometown she was informed that she does not have chicken pox and had tested negative for the same!!! We are extremely shocked and cant believe that a self proclaimed super specialty hospital like NMC has done this! As of now we have vowed to never go there again and thanking our stars my friend did not take their medicines without a second opinion or else we dread thinking what could have happened... Cheated!

They will suck the money out of your blood and your insurance!! They will never give you an appointment within a week to recheck again with the doctor! You will pay twice for a simply info. To take! Which is you basic right to have.. Thier staff seems friendly, but after you see the doctor and need to test for blood, xray, anyother thiny and go back to see the doctor they will never ever answer your call, check for you or even give you an appointment! The doctor said it himself to call him to check the status and xray photos as well what medicine to give us, after tooooons of calls they came back saying we cant speak to the doctor?? Take an appointment? ? We requested for appointment two days before and still he is busy and fully booked?? What the ***** is this??? We need a call only!! One minute and thats it!! And this is regarding the Orthopaedic clinic and doctor there! And my wife stopped walking now, she has been like this for 2 weeks already, we dont know the MRI results or what to take or what happened!! A doctor from outside this hospital said she has a major bones problem in both legs and has a truma and inflammation with her bones!! If no one called from this hospital I will keep on posting this again and again everywhere I go online! My previous experience was with the neurologist section while up till now I didnt get a call for my case, its been two month already! I checked with a doctor outside this hospital and he gave me the treatment I needed. They called me for MRI at 8pm in DIP section, I came like crazy from Sharjah since they said they doesnt have any available time.. and guess what???? They doesnt have MRI there?!! The nurse name Gladis!! Full of lies, full of unprofessional career and treatment. I left a complaint note at thier box but when the called after they saw my review here they said there were no note?? No complaint? They take it off and removed it from the box so theyll get clean! What kind of hospital is this?? I called them that time on daily basis for more than 10 times aday, they keep on putting you on hold for at least 10 minutes and then hang on in your face. After that this hospital got approval to be officially a hospital and they got even worst! It got closed for more than 2 weeks almost 3 weeks for a flood that happened there!! They left us without transferring us to another branch, never answering the call. You already PAID!! but you were not treated! Till now! I dont recommend any patients to go there!! I am really sorry for removing my previous comment!!
