    Certainly unprofessional! My experience with them was not at all good. The call center has no idea as to whos who at the hospital. We were visiting a cardiologist and suddenly he left. Another cardiologist came and took over our files. As we were getting used to him , he left and now the patients are stranded. No cardiologist and they arent bothered. Very unprofessional . Where do they expect the patients to go? Would like the management to give me a call back and sort this matter.

    I had to rush to the hospital in early hours of the day with severe abdominal pain , I was seen by the emergency doctor within 20 minutes and my pain was relieved within 30 minutes. I was diagnosed with gall stones and recommended laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The procedure was done on the same day around 2 pm and I was in my room at 6:30 pm. I was discharged the next afternoon. It was my first ever visit to the hospital and first every surgery but I was thoroughly impressed by the efficiency, competency and professionalism of everyone at the hospital. Starting from the booking staff, emergency team, Surgical staff , post op care and all the nursing staff. Being a medical professional I can easily say that the whole experience was first class and I can easily recommend anyone Aster Hospital for their superb professionalism. Thank you very much Aster Hospital team for your 5 star performance.

    Its the worst hospital in UAE ever! I rushed my fiance to the ER, arrived at 1pm and we were told that a doctor is busy attending 3 patients. (I guess they only have one doctor at ER). Then finally when the doctor checked her up, she was recommended to get admitted to the hospital. We waiting so long that she got admitted at exactly 1am the next day!! Imagine that? You arrived in their hospital at 1am and you have to stay at their hospital for 13 hours just to get admitted. Very very poor service from their staff nurse. ALL OF THEM! They should hire someone to train them very well. The night shift nurses dont endorse their work to the day shift nurses. When my fiance got discharged, they told me that I will be getting a refund and be deposited to my bank account within 3 to 5 working days. Guess what its been 10 working days and until now they havent refunded my money back! So from getting admitted until the billing department, they are totally messed up! No wonder why they have so many negative reviews about this hospital. If youre on emergency and your life is hanging in the balance, dont rush yourself to this hospital. They have a tag line of 30 years of compassion. They couldnt even provide a good service for 13 hours.

    They trick insured people then call the police to collect the money. I went to the hospital 2 weeks before the time of the dilevery of my wife to get the approval from the insurance company. They informed me that the dilevery is covered. The day of dilevery I asked again, and again they said we got the approval. Finally they brought the police for me and I paid from my pocket. You dont need to ask for, to show readers that you care, my contact number. You have it in your records. The baby born on July, 12.

    Website chat service is useless. A respond time is too much plus they end up saying somebody will call. Then why offer web chat? Also a company like Aster with years of Experience, is still wanting to improve their services, should this company already be well versed with Customer service standards. The problem his hiring people with certain preferences and eventually no one monitoring them. All the best, but the previous reviews I have seem, seems this Hospital service is going no where.

    Had an appointment at 0915. Reached 10 minutes earlier as instructed, since its a weekday and have to report to work as well. Its 0945 now, no call from the nurse or the doctor. Completely unprofessional service. Wouldnt advise / suggest anybody to this hospital ever!

    This is with regards of Dr. Caroline. We are consulting with her for my wifes check up. At first, we find her treatment good towards us, but it changed on our last consultation with her. Ill just take the last two consultation on this story. On the 2nd to the last check up, she asked my wife where she would prefer to get the baby scanned for determining its gender, then we have told that we will do it on our home country since my wifes health insurance was already cancelled and it cost 800 AED. She ok, we need to come back after a couple of week for the final check up when we have the ticket so she could issue the clearance so as the medical records that we are requesting which will be needed for the follow up check ups on our home country. Then the last check up day (the day before my wifes flight), my wife was scanned on her clinic only, evetthing was fine she told. And when we started to ask about the flight clearance and medical record, her mood suddenly changed. (we can identify an individuals reactions) She told us that she will not issue any flight clearance for us as she told that she advised us last check up that scan which we need to pay for 800 AED is required for her to give flight clearance. Me and my wife looked at each other and we really cannot remember that she has advised that way. Fortunately, ive called on the airline and good thing they advised 23 weeks doesnt require any clearances yet. We also advise for the medical records of my wifes check ups. She told "WHAT RECORD YOU WILL ASK FROM ME? YOU ARE JUST GOING HERE JUST FOR CHECK UPS, WHAT RECORD WILL I GIVE?" She is the doctor, why she will ask us which record shall be given to us? We been going for check up 4-5 times if im not mistaken. Ok, lets say that those check up will not give any records, why would she say on the 2nd to the last check up that she will provide the medical records on the last check up. And with regards to that scan thing, we are sure that she didnt advise that it is needed for the flight clearance. If she has advised that, we should have allotted a budget for that scan as we wont risk the health of our baby for any amount. The thing is the moment that we have come back for the final check up, we were surprised on what she told. It was different on what she has mentioned on the 2nd to the last check up. And logically, why would we come back for the last check up if we know that we wont be getting any flight clearance without that scan? Very bad experience................

    just simply rubbish, im looking to get a mammography and the call center keep pushing me back and forth to the clinic and the hospital help line with no one giving me an answer of how much is the procedure. i donno what kinda games they are playing thinking its funny that people are sick and in need of assistance . im actually gonna write to a media channel with regards to my awful experience and the sad part is that i still dident get any help !!     Very poor time management. You get repeated SMS messages asking you to come on time or 15 minutes before your appointment and then you wait till it seems convenient to the hospital/doctor. Two appointments, both first thing in the morning and both delayed. Just cancelled the second one after waiting.

    My name is Prem 2 days ago Saturday 22nd April I got stomach pain I visited oasis center aster clinic Dr . gorge he said that we are expecting Infection in your stomach you need to do scan to know what is it exactly -!! Then he referred me to go Astra hospital Mankhool -!! When I reached there they received me very well the process of insurance coverage Make my day little bit delay I was suffering from pain Then Dr. Momena Rafiq she approached me She treated me very well The way of talking with me as well All patients Very nice and very kind I really appreciate and impressive thanks to you Dr. MomenaRafiq -! Then my insurance got climes then they did ultra scan then Dr.Faheem Ullah came with reports he told me I got appendices in my stomach right side I was like shocked I dont know what to do I was alone I didnt expected that i was like confused I dont know what to Im alone and Im scared because they are asking me to do operation Im very far away to family -!! I told Dr.Faheem That I wll go back my home country India hyderabad I wll make operation there Then he answered me he suggested me very well very nicely No Prem dont take chance when u will fly it might make you more sick that poison my get blast in stomach So better to do operation hear you will be alright with 2 days aftr that i can go home country take rest after that take few days rest with your family go India He makes me feel good and better and confident Thank you to DrFaheem Ullah Next assistant Rifas came to me hes very kind Very lovely person he approached me very cool and he make all documents and oall admit process and all then next day he came he wished me he all the best no worries everything will be alright Just 1 hr u will be back Dr moni hes specialist operation will be very quick and all nice conversation with him Thank you to Rifas-!! Finally I got Operation on 23 rd Sunday next day Dr. Moni came to me explained all What to do how to do all process And precautions a really thank you to Dr.moni And they discharge me by evening This is all about my story And specially thanks to nurse evry one all of them very personally well groomed well hygiene Happy service feel good service from all nurse Thanks to everyone who cares me in hospital I forgot there names and my room was good Food as well good -!! I have appointment on 27 th afternoon 2pm with Dr .moni if he allowed me to go home to take rest That would be very good news for me just waiting for it -!! That was my first operation in my life with out family I was like scared they make me confident and all went well finally Im good now Once again thank you all of you Prem Kumar.

    Great infrastructure and fascilities. But very much disappointed on the practice of approaintment process. I have been going to Aster ( Bur dubai & Mankhool ) from quite long time say last 5 years. But never get a chance to checkup on time even though i have proper appointment and reach before advised time. I can agree with slippage of 10-15 mins but always it took quite long time.This is very much annoying as never gives value for time. Waiting for an hour in queue even having proper appointment booked from a period makes no sense.COmpletely disppointed.This needs to be improved to serve patient on time.

    We came to your hospital with 6 month old son because he had fever and cough. Doctor checked him and said he should be admitted for chest infection and also mentioned that aster hospital do not have proper equipment to treat him and advice to visit wellcare or zuleka hospital. we went to latifia hospital to check him for second op ion and doctor there checked him properly and also took a XRAY and confirmed that chest is clear and No need to admit in the hospital !!!!!

    Everytime I deal with Aster I get lots of disappointment and frustration, wrong information being communicated as we breathe, easily costing you 3 or 4 hours with no remorse. Very very unhappy, the network of medical centres is expanding and wrong information by the staff is very common.. Needless to say that most of their doctors treat the patients as numbers, there is no real sense of responsibility and moral obligation

    Update: This is very serious negligence. I got unintended surgery of my wife in this Hospital which was never required & for which consent was never given. It was an unsymptomatic Bartholin Cyst for which Dr Caroline Alphine advised to get Marsupialisation. We took 4 different opinions and each opinion said to either get Marsupialisation which is a simple office based procedure or do nothing till it shows any symptoms of pain. After 2 months of thought, we decided to get Marsupialisation at Aster Mankhool. Admission was done, admission slip clearly showed Marsupialisation is the procedure that will be performed. But without my consent and without even informing me, Dr Caroline Alpine performed excision of the cyst & the gland!!!! I was furious, how the hell you could do - we would have never ever agreed for an invasive procedure that was never required, that involves bleeding, and may also involve removal of gland. This was the first Bartholin cyst which was not infected, excision is something reserved for patients who are getting repeated painful cysts despite Marsupialization or other conservative treatments. It was done all out of blue without my consent and filing a complaint at Aster had no effect. I would now take the issue with DHA. But for others, I strongly advice you to avoid Dr Caroline and the hospital itself if possible.

    Ever bad experience. We got my sister to the hospital at 9:30pm untill 10:00no doctor checked her. Then told to apply for insurance approval which they did at12:40am then I was insisted by 3 to go with cash option until insurance gets approved.then next day at 12:00 noon I asked them if the insurance got approved thwy said no. Then I called the insurance and they said it was approved at 4am. Then I asked again from hospital they said no approval yet. We are following up. Then once i gave them the approval number and all they said oh yes we got it. The follow up is very bad here. And they only know to pass te ball to another counter saying they handle not us. This is worst than a government hospital in Asian countries. Are they trying to get money instead of insurance cuz it takes long for them to get money from insuarance or playing a smart game by collecting from both parties. What ever it is. We are already in tention due to various reasons. Dont do this kind of thing. Its not professional.

    I would.like to thank all Aster Hospital staff! You are really amazing guys, starting from security till doctors, everyone is caring of you. My sister fainted at work, and we were taken to Emergency, starting from that minute everyone took care of her. After transfering to IP we never waited more than 5 minutes for the staff. Nurses, room service do their work on time!!! And we want thank you for upgrading till private room by the way. Rating 5 star, as way as it is.

    Our initial impression of aster when we visited for our first gynae appointment was awesome - ultra modern and good customer service in reception. However the subsequent visits made us wonder whether we were just being robbed of our money with unnecessary numerous scans being requested by the gynae - remember each scan is paid for and a good fee for that matter and worst of all ours was a twin pregnancy and the scan fee for the second baby is more than the first baby .- and there was nothing wrong with the pregnancy. The gynae Dr Sejel repeatedly requested for scans after scans for no reason despite the sonograper Dr Rao had advised the last scan was fine and no further scans required. The most annoying part is Dr Sejel is lacking in good customer service . Her consultations seemed as though shes been made to work under duress - no emotions. This is pathetic from a business perspective . This is a private hospital with customers paying fees so good customer service should be number one priority. When Dr Sejel requested for a blood test and the results indicated urinary bacteria and anaemia Dr Sejel didnt even notice this until when my wife travelled abroad to prepare for delivery when another gynae instantly noticed this 4 months later and queried the urinary bacteria and anaemia then antibiotics and medicine for anaemia were prescribed by the second gynae All Dr Sejel was interested in was repeat scans for no apparent reasons except to make profit for aster hospital . Very disappointing experience in the end

    I went to ER after having an accident on work and was told that I need to wait for hospital to send a request to insurance company for covering MRI. Two days after, when I checked with my insurance company if hospital have send a request to them, I was told they have not received any. In the mean time, my injury got worse - an hole appeared under injured tendency, pain got bigger, hand is swallowing and it is highly likely something is broken. And I still dont know what is wrong nor what to do. And still waiting the call from the hospital. Very disappointing and unprofessional. And it is not the first time a had this kind of problem with Aster clinic. I am considering a law suit.

    Ridiculously disorganised Service. We have always taken the appointment and had to wait more than an hour to get examined by doc. This time also we had taken the appoint, upon arrival we were asked to wait for 45min before even getting token and registration. Twice they took our details and missed to register. Further to that they were asking our mobile numbers to re register. We were so annoyed this time that we walked off. we were attended by shehnaz on first floor. Most incompetent managing staff

    the most disrespectful people I have seen are in that hospital. No quality at all!!! The senior staff are not helpful and rude! some doctors have no sense of politeness and are super rude; as one of the doctors was late for his appointment with my friend and he told the nurse "let her wait, she is already in pain for long, its not gonna kill her"! what kind of even human will say that???? and even he did not apologize for what he did! even the management were not helpful and no one of them even apologized for the behavior of the doctor!

    2 hrs of our life wasted. Had an appointment for child for a simple eye checkup. Landed there 45 mins before appointment. No one in reception wants to make eye contact. Absolute chaos. Walkins are let in to maximise revenue. Now 1 hr after appointment time, we are still waiting our turn and no body is willing to give any updates. Dont go here if you are looking for any sort of quality service.

    Emergency ward staff is pathetically slow. Except security guys who were quite supportive. Telephone at reception keeps ringing. Toilet door does not have door closure making it risky for weak patients to open safely. Majboory hai isliye aya !!!!

    I am really happy with the Service of Aster team,Specially Dr. Rahul Tugnait (Specialist General Surgery). June 21 to 24th 2016 i was in room no 425 . for my Apendicitis surgery.dont remember the name of the nursers on 4th Floor.they were very proffesional and allways had a smile on there Face. once again thanks you so much for delightfull service .

    My mother needed IV for iron as she has low iron in her blood. She was prescribed 5 doses, to be taken on regular intervals of 2-3 days. Today was her 4th dose. I really have to highlight the fact that most of the nurses dont even know how to use a needle. My mother cried in pain today. They try to train the nurses on spot as if the actual patients dont feel any pain and they can do it any way they want. This nurse injected my mother on the soft skin above the knuckle outside the vein, to the bone as if she had no nerves to feel that at all. It was really hard for me to watch my mother in pain, when i kept shouting at her to withdraw the needle which was inserted into the muscle and not the vein. On top, they dont even listen and do as they like. I kept telling her to withdraw it and God knows what she was doing. She kept poking it in and out the same spot, as if trying to find the vein, while my mother cried and panicked. Have to say there training is quite lousy. And a similar thing happened previosly too, about 2 days ago. The nurse injected my mom with the needle and tried to hapazardly attach the IV tube without putting the tape, while the needle shook inside of her. One can only imagine the pain. And she looked as if she was in such a hurry to go back home. All of them seem in a hurry all the time. But today was just nauseating and extremely bad. Is this how Aster takes care? Giving patients more pain? Get your nursing staff trained properly. I hope patients of Aster dont have to suffer for such small things such as getting injected. Moreover, the reception staff has no value for peoples time. People who have booked appointments a day prior usually end up waiting for 2 hours. This has happened several times with us. I hope my review brings some betterment to the hospital in the respective aspects, because they really need to work there.

    I really happy about they are services.all the services are great .Specilly Dr. Chaithanya Prakash (internal medicine) Dr.Moni Suseelan (General surgery) and I not remember all staff names. Date September 19/20 i was in room no 314 they treat me like home.every thing was on time.second time October 8/9 two days.for my surgery I was room number 423.both visit I have got very great service.(nurse R josape and night nurse)I would like to share with everyone about my aster experience.Thank again for your great service.     I am waiting for the report from insurance approval more thana week .when I try to contact the hospital official nobody answered. Really very unsatisfactory experience. I will not do my further treatment in Aster. Goodbye

    No professionalism at all.. After getting the confirmed appointments with the Doctor Mustaffa internal medicine at Mankhool Aster Hospital.. Twice it happens minimum one hour was the waiting time to meet the doctor even though there was only two patients before than me!. Such a bad experience
