kris gonzalesWe spent 10minutes to locate the emergency room as there are no signs in every OPD entrances to where there emergency located. When we arrived, its like a haunted ER. No enough lights outside and guess what, you need to take your own wheelchair(self-service)! The guard doesnt care as if he was not on duty. Not helping at all. As you entered the room, those people on the reception acting as if theyre racist. They just care if youre an American or whatever, really?! Bloody hell! Receptionist doesnt explain further about the insurance coverage and just tell you, "oh youre not covered". Only to find out, I am! Even the nurses feels like they dont want to work there. Not accommodating! I am a nurse and knows how the emergency room works. Shame. Customer service is x x x x x. Not a friendly environment

Tolulope adebayoWe had an emergency. Staff were very swift to action. I was calmed down. We were given refreshments while the patient was being attended to. The hospital stay was very comfortable. Very kind and nice nurses. Still the best hospital I have been in Dubai.

J.R. FernandezDoctors very knowledgeable, Great staff, state of the art equipment, and appointments are tried very hard to fit you in. Work in Iraq, it was worth the trip and expenses to have a piece of mind just cause I am not going to the USA for the same and wait on referrals.

Douw G. SteynDuring a visit November 2016 I crashed riding in the desert fell and broke my collar bone badly requiring surgery and hardware. From the ER check in all Drs and nurses involved were fantastic. I can recommend them by all means.

Hamad Al-OmranMy wife was having her annual mammography and after 2 days was called back to follow up with an Ultra sound first thing the next morning with out proper explanation. Naturally she gets there this morning to find out that she is not scheduled for an ultra sound and her status is pending + her doctor is not working that day so no one knows whats going on. Now when it comes to additional tests Dubais hospitals are famous for requesting useless tests to claim as much as they can from the insurance but in this case we will be restless until after the weekend which is 3 days from now waiting to see the doctor and get a proper explanation. Thank you American Hospital for destroying 3 days of our lives and charging us for it. God bless and I hope my post will help you avoid having a weekend like mine. P.S If your checking up for something serious or just a regular check up , I highly recommend avoiding this insensitive arrogant Institution called (The American Hospital)

hassan alsumaitivery expensive, for 15 minutes one eye surgery, it cost 9000 $, and we thought this cost for 2 eyes, when they finished, the soctor said he did surgery for one eye only, the other eye we should take another appointment and pay another 9000$.

Rabie NajiaVery poor services. Doctor punctuality is poor. I went for a travel advise to see what vaccination to take, and the doctor opened the CDC website and started reading out what I need to take and what not to take. Well I have already did that on my own, and Im more than capable of finding that on the website. But I came specifically to a doctor to give me a consultation. In the end, they charge me 595 Dhs for a ridiculous travel advise which I already did at home.

I have had more than one awful experience with this hospital the worst of them all is when the plastic sergeant for my daughter cut lip went in and the first thing out of his mouth was "my check up fees are 700dhs and they wont be covered by the insurance do you want me to check her " and after we told him we already know he just looks at her from 3 foot away and says well she needs a surgery and it will be around 7000 Dhs !!!! Rude and awful doctor

Nour SalemI had a surgery last year. A few hours later I was sleeping alone in room recovering. They called me from finance as of they couldnt wait till I feel better the next day, and told me that I need to pay 1,500 AED additional to the (already very expensive) surgery because I stayed 10 min longer outside of the surgery room until I woke up. So they wanted me to pay 150 AED per min just for staying in the bed. When I told they that this is a ripoff and Im gonna call the police, they said never mind you dont have to pay. Thieves!!!! First, who calls a patient 2 hours after a full Anastasia surgery to talk about the final bill?? And second, whos fault is it if I didnt wake up as per the plan from my surgery?? Have I been slightly over dozed?? ridiculous!!!

Steve ConnellyTerrible experience. Sat for an hour past appointment time with no explanation. Every time we asked for update we were fobbed off. Then they wanted 640.00 for the privilege. Will not be returning.

Claus LarsenLearnings from our experience doing a health check on AH : • Booking was great but could have wished more information about the specific tests etc. - Welcome was good but no information about the program for the process and what we could expect • The process was smooth and equipment etc. looked very good (except all the ants! on the floor in the stress test room!) • Tests felt to be very professional done • The ending of the day was very poor with no information and follow up talks! • The report is very poor and it is not possible to read for people outside the health system. There should as minimum have been a conclusion and some good advises to what you can do to improve etc. • The feed back from the doctor was very poor and tone/attitude was not nice. The feed back session took app. 5 minutes and was just a fast “walk through of the report”! All in all a very dissapointing experience and VERY EXPENSIVE!
