Saw Mary Poppins and was blown away by the quality. Top-rated sets, singers, costumes - even an onstage kiss was allowed. The venue has reasonably good accoustics and handles crowds well. Great bathrooms, some dodgy decor. Overall worth a visit and a great addition to Dubai culture.

Loved the show, Mary Poppins! I will say the food selection was not good at all. The food and drinks were expensive as I had expected but the very small selection and quality was actually pretty bad. They definitely need to expand on the food and be more creative in selection and presentation.

Wow what a great ambiance inside. It matches any international opera house. The place is very crowded and the parking sucks. We were sitting in VIP box but we could hear constant footsteps of their staff in alley. Very annoying. The worst part is when you have to take u-turn in order to enter into the parking lot because the traffic signal got min waiting of 30min in a queue.

Beware of where you purchase your tickets from! I googled Dubai Opera house tickets, it took me to Platinum List tickets, went on to book 4 tickets in platinum section, when we went to enter, Dubai Opera staff turned us away and told us we needed new tickets issued by Platinum booth, we went there and they told us no we did not need to be there, we must go back to the theatre door 3, once there again we were told no! show start time passed, still no management, to help with the situation and about 50 angry ticket holders! We paid 395.00 for each ticket and they eventually gave us seats in back of theatre in the 295.00 section ! We were so mad, we found it hard to enjoy the show, and wanted to leave! We stayed but never go over the way we were treated!

Love that theatre goers can enjoy a broadway play in the absolutely gorgeous opera. The sound/ stage effects has been in par with other world class theatres. The tickets are pricey for the best views, but overall everywhere seating is standard with comfortable leg space. During the breaks the lines for the two food and bev stations tend to be really long, just hope they will add some vending machines/ more kiosks in future.

I love Dubai Opera House, very cool and trendy. I highly recommend you go there early to have a look around, take some photos and enjoy a drink or two. The building is cool, seats very comfortable, also noticed the way the seats have been designed offers everyone a good view. We parked 5 min walk from the Opera house car parking two to avoid traffic.

I have attended the Amr diab concert. I am sad to say that i am very disappointed. The building from outside is fabulous. But i was shocked when I entered the hall. It is very small compared to other opera houses. Plus they are not on time. The mentioned in the website that the door will close at 10 pm. It became 11 and nothing yet ..

Loved loved loved the place, its so much different from what you expect an opera house to look like, that was the great surprise. The most pleasant is not creative architecture , stylish interior and impeccable service and organization, but the feeling of being involved to the performance wherever your seat is. I deeply believe Art is the most powerful way that nations can be groomed and their sense of culture and appreciation of beauty is elevated. It is also how we can bridge all differences of race, colour and religion because what unites people is far greater than any ideology. This is what every city in the Arab world needs. An opera house showcasing beauty from around the world and educating the masses there is beauty beyond the trashy people we see on TV around the clock. Super excited about the opera.

After going to a performance last night, I can only say, great venue. Although traffic was a little crazy, once inside staff were incredibly helpful and friendly in providing direction and help. The venue itself is fantastic and really did justice to the performers. Great to see Dubai finally has a building like this.

Its great that UAE has finally an opera house, but its heavily overpriced for what you get in return in terms of shows quality. Also dress code policy is non existent, and they allow people in during the show which disturbs the whole experience for others.

Dubai delivers perfectly, again! With a mesmerizing iconic venue, top notch performances, impressive management & advertising, and great customer service, Dubai Opera is hands down one of the most successful, entertaining, educating, and satisfying projects in Dubai. My my my! How profound and prolific the shows are. Even though I immensely regret missing the legend Plácido Domingo, I was lucky enough to attend: 1) Impossible: mind-blowing, the mind reader guy proved me wrong; magic is REAL! 2) José Carrerass: was cathartic as hell, legendary as expected. Encore! Encore! 3) Omar Khairat: left me speechless, as an Arab -Jordanian- I was so proud of such a genius. We say that Egypt is "the mother of the world", and someday -hopefully- everyone will say it. I wished that Nader Abbassi the conductor would join Mr. Khairat but it was a perfect evening as it is. With the announced upcoming : Vivaldis four seasons, Tchaikovskys Nutcracker, Hugos Les Misérables, and T.S. Eliots Cats, Dubai Opera had me remove many items of my bucket list within a couple of months, it did cost me a fortune tho! Im eternally grateful to the people behind this.

Very disappointed. We have tried to book 2 tickets, got error that the credit card is rejected by my bank Fraud Module, and asked to contact my bank, but the amount was already deducted from my credit card. so I contacted the bank, and the bank confirmed the authorization of the purchase and advise me to contact Dubai Opera with authorization number of my purchase, tried to contact them several times, but no answer. Im now standing with no tickets and the amount is deducted already. I will never try this experience again.

Website is very unclear- be careful when reserving seats also booking process/customer basket is not available which means if you start to book and for any reason need to revist the site you could end up buying multiple tickets unknowingly. Customer support limited (i.e. you cannot talk to someone directly) and quite unhelpful (i.e. generic responses). I havent even visited the venue yet and extremely disatisfied.

Την Δευτέρα 20 Νοεμβριου 2016 επισκεφθηκα την Όπερα του Dubai για να παρακολουθήσουμε την παράσταση .Μου αρέσει πολύ ή οργάνωση του χώρου, ή VIP εξυπηρέτηση από τους ταξιθετες καθώς επείσης και κατά την διάρκεια του διαλείμματος ή ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουμε με ανθρώπους του θεάτρου και γενικότερα του καλλιτεχνικού τομέα.Οσο για το εσωτερικό και την αρχιτεκτονική θεωρώ ότι είναι κάτι μοναδικό για το Ντουμπαι.Ο εξωτερικός περιβάλλον χώρος καθώς και το show με τα συντριβάνια είναι το μέρος όπου σίγουρα θα φωτογραφήθητε.
