Mark Beer, OBEUnprofessional and arrogant - dont bother if you need any help with a broken product. They do seem good at selling products but this isnt the place to come for help. I was sent here by an iStyle store about a fault in my daughters MacBook. The welcome at the Apple store was frosty and they said I needed to meet a technician - could I come back in 10 hours! I asked to leave the computer with them but that isnt possible. They then sent me to an Apple repair store 10 minutes walk away and, guess what, they charge AED250 to look at a computer, and then any repair charges on top. Most computer makers take after care seriously, but not the Apple store in Mall of the Emirates. They couldnt care.

Basem KamalThis is the worst customer service I ever had, Im really disappointed because, I thought iPhone is the best device in market, I had an iPhone 7 plus around 3months ago, and unfortunately it used to take around 4 ours to charge them when I came you this branch , theyre like, dont want to check it out, just someone said download apple support and complain, then from the app they said visit the Apple Store .. then yesterday something else happened to my iPhone .. whenever I make any calls, the other side cant hear me, and also I cant record voice notes on WhatsApp Here after I came today ... it was so careless from you guys.. I complained to someone named J...... ,, she said we cant check your iPhone today you just need to come tomorrow for walk-in support .. I said why not today Im here for walk-in support then.. she said .. we cant today ( with bad attitude) .. I said maybe when I come tomorrow youll say so .. By the way.. Nizar SwailemIts great to finally get our Genius bar in the city. The team is as knowledgable and efficient as you would expect (if youve interacted with other Apple stores around the world). But make sure you have an appointment before going. Theres no special treatment extended to anyone (unlike many other places in Dubai). The line on a weekday could lead to wait of 5-6 hours as a walk in. So get online, and youll most likely be in and out in less than 30 minutes.

I was 5 min late for an appointment today and because of that I had to wait for another half an hour. Had I been on time, would I be helped at the booked time? Not at all, according to previous experiences. The good habit of putting client first and providing an outstanding customer service clearly does not apply to apple anymore. In fact, if instead of waiting (and ignoring the fact that my wife was using an old phone) I had asked for the closest appointment available, Id have to wait for another WEEK at least. From great to a nightmare in a decade.

Looking at their feedbacks there is no acknowledgement of the negative feedbacks received (why would they, they are Apple). Have been an Apple customer for over 10 years. My iPhone 5S is less than 3 years old, but out of warranty. 10 days ago it started playing up - switching off randomly. I thought it’s a one off issue, but as I was in MOE it did it again (having 88% of battery life). Being in MOE and Apple having a shop I wanted some advice as it’s not great being without a phone when it’s urgently needed. Explained the technical issue I am facing and he asked me to book an appointment - which I am familiar with and did not expect an exception. What I did expect is some help turning my phone on. Pushing the top button did not do it, but he didn’t even try that. Again, he referred me to a technician for tomorrow. This test would have taken 6 seconds. Second quick thing to try, push top and menu button to turn it on. He didn’t try to help was just repeating the same old information, book an appointment and come back tomorrow. Sadly, nowadays thinking on your own two feet seem to be a challenge. Did explain to the agent, that he could have tried this and all he said ‘it’s working what’s the issue’. I guess some people never learn … In hope that Apple will up their game … one day :)

This Apple Store requires you to take an appointment 1 week in advance! What is going on here? I drove all the way from Sharjah and it was a complete waste of my time. If you ever need anything fixed, head to Sharaf DG in Times Square, they have an authorized Apple service center theyre so reliable. Also, this Apple store has a balcony with a view of the fountains and so people are just passing through and crowding up the place for no reason!

I went to the IStyle shop in the mall and they were able to sort out my phone in 15 minutes. No one even bothered to suggest any help in the Apple Store, or even take a quick look, which turns out is all they needed to do.

So the next day we were there at 11:30, he was like there is no more appointments, try coming earlier. Then the next day I came at 10:20, and again THERES NO MORE APPOINTMENTS!!

You can trust their staff that they are not going to cheat you because of some dollars profit for company. Apple is big enough to spend to make their user happy. When I finally gave them my phone, they quoted me four days to fix it, and that was fine (even though it takes 30 minutes to an hour in most apple stores around the world), it has been six days and my phone still hasnt been fixed and all they tell me is to wait as they do not know when it will be fixed. The staff will do whatever it takes to try and turn you away. If you come in and buy something you might get some attention otherwise they will try to turn you away. And dont even bother buying any of their products at this store just walk down one floor and you will get an iPhone for 500aed less at carrefour without all the hassle. My iPhone is not working properly and I have been to the store 3 times every time they turn me away like all the rest of the customers. They told me they cant see me without an appointment to book one online which is impossible for this location. Then they told me to come early in the morning and they will give me an appointment I went in early in the morning and they told me I have to wait 8hrs just for someone to see my phone. After waiting 7 hours staying at the mall I got a text to come back to the store that someone will see me soon, I went back immediately it took me like 10minutes to get there, but the guy said I came to late and I have to come and book another appointment the next day after waiting 7 hours to be seen!!! They expect me to stand outside of the store for 7 hours until I get a random text and run in. This is by far the worst customer service in Dubai.

I went to the store and they told me that I had to come back tomorrow because now it was very busy and I had to wait long. And in the morning it should be quit. I went back the next day. Already a big queue. Inside waiting they starting to tell that there was already 6,5 hours waiting list. Also it is possible to make an appointment through the website. At home, I login. And I discovered the next few days, the only few days you see get the message NO AVAILABLE TIME FOR A APPIONTMENT. A shame for the brand Apple.

Robin DeaettI came to the store with 2 relatively mainstream, simple issues that I needed help with. Immediately they dismissed one issue, saying they couldnt fix it. The 2nd issue, they told me to make an appointment for the next day and to come back. So I made an appointment for the following day - when I returned, they had no record of my appointment at all. Maybe its because Apple is such a fantastic brand and everywhere else, the customer service and product knowledge is perfect, but I was terribly disappointed in the organization and general support of the Dubai Apple store. I will now look for help in other cities when I travel. Dubai Apple store brings a disgrace to the brand.

Gilbert Haddadi cannot describe my experience, it was a scene out of top comedy movie, i clearly stated to the Leader there...1- you are understaffed, the line had more than 22 people waiting, they are nearly getting to the door and out of the store, (her reply: NO we are not understaffed, if we get more staff then we cant breath in the store ....??what ??) and 2- Arrogance, Arrogance , Arrogance, you cannot talk with any of their team members without clearly getting this eye rolling reaction....and finally: i have an iphone with a hair like crack which is covered under warranty, and the apple guy said, ummmm....your edges look a little bent to me and you might have to pay, im not sure, ill tell you after we repair it ....whaaaat ?? this should be covered by Apple FULL STOP.... ive been in the US apple stores a million times and there service is impeccable, they respect my time.... APPLE STORE DUBAI, wake up, its 2016, competition is at its best, i paid premium price for my iphone 7plus, for my Mac Pro 15, for my Ipad Air, and Mini, and and and....the minimum i expect from your team is to offer premium service. anyhow, i took back the phone and will change it in the US.... Clearly not run at par as the rest of the Apple stores in the world , try and get a diagnostics afternoon time they tell you its busy and come another day early morning. Go in the morning they tell you come in 7/8 hours or go elsewhere.

I have been trying to get an appointment now for months and havent got an appointment they ask me to come at 10AM in the morning. When I come here at 10AM they say tech will be available in 30minutes. After 30 minutes they say tech will be available after 12PM. You expect us as customers to wait in line for so long this is just ridiculous. I rather go to a local shop and get my phone fixed and never ever get an apple device again. I told them that I have a Samsung as a spare phone incase I go traveling and have been using it for 3 years with no problems they say "if you choose to shift to android because of the bad service please feel free to we dont care". Go Samsung !!!!

Stephanie NonI have had two experiences in the store, the first one was ok, staff was pleasant even though quite inexperienced. My second visit was very bad, the staff was very dismissive, not at all willing to help. They cannot service you on the spot unless you are doing a simple purchase, anything else (even dropping something for repair), you have to wait one month for an appointment. This was quite surreal because the shop was full of apple staff doing absolutely nothing (they probably have strict division of labour). Even with an appointment dont expect to be served on time as the queue for those with appointment was close to one hour when we came in today! Anyway we simply went to Jumbo Electronics, and were able to trade 2 old broken iPad for new ones, plus had an extra sales discount in addition to the apple trading rate. We had no waiting time, we were served on the spot and saved an extra AED100 in addition to the AED 422 we received from our two broken iPads.

But service is really bad and extremely slow, staff are not friendly! Acting in unruly way ! Also I guess the replacement phones they are providing are not as genuine as the really thing ?! It might be 2nd class or 3rd .!! Not impressed .

J-P MFirst off, I just want to say APPLE IS GARBAGE!! I have NEVER had worse customer service in my life, nor have I ever met people this RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! Quick highlights: - Rubbish iPhone 6s (brand new) - Rude & unprofessional employees - HORRIBLE product repair procedures (They dont take the product.. they give you an appointment hours or days later to just come AGAIN to DROP-OFF their faulty product) - HORRIBLE product pick-up procedures (You dont just go pick-up your repaired product, you wait for a queue of people ahead of you all given THE SAME appointment time, and wait for the ONE employee serving all of them to spend 10-20 minutes with EACH one) - Worst Customer Service I have EVER seen!! Apart from the fact that the iphone 6s was literally out of the box for 3 hours before the screen front completely broke from a minor fall... I go to Mall of Emirates branch to get it fixed. The employees are standing there doing nothing and NOT ONE of them even greeted us or offered to help! I finally approach one of them and tell them Im there to fix my phone. He just idly gestures towards the one employee with 8 people already waiting in queue ahead of us (at 10am)! Finally our turn comes and we explain the problem. The guy plays around with his iPad & asks a few questions... then says he made a booking for us and we should receive an SMS within 4 HOURS... to come DROP-OFF THE PHONE! We look at each other confused as he cannot possibly mean that we need to come back again JUST to drop-off the faulty product we already have with us... but that is EXACTLY what he meant, and when we asked why they cant just take the phone now, he says simply "Thats the system.." We left the store and went home. 5 hours later we get no SMS, and having been told that appointments cannot be rescheduled and wed have to reschedule if we miss it.. we decide to head back to the Mall. Now they have 4 queues of people waiting to get appointments, each at least 12 people long! We wait our turn again and finally ask the guy about our appointment.. he checks his iPad and then in the rudest most condescending manner possible says "itll be at least another 4 hours, come back when you get an SMS". I explain that the previous person told us 4 hours.. and that was 5 hours ago. Again, in the rudest manner possible the employee just says "thats the system here". I start arguing with the guy and saying I am NOT going to go home AGAIN to just be on call for ANOTHER 4 hours (at least) until they send the SMS! To this he does nothing but again repeat "thats our system" in the rudest and most unapologetic tone possible. At this point I am just fighting the urge to reply that apple is obviously garbage if THAT many people need their products fixed that they cant even cope with the numbers! Instead, I ask to speak to a manager... Little did I know the same exact attitude and response would be repeated yet again by the manager, until I finally raise my voice in the store and threatened to contact apple directly! Then and only then did the manager finally find his manners and ask me to the side to calm me down. Finally, I am told that I would receive the SMS within the hour. We have coffee nearby and within an hour we receive the SMS from their highnesses. We go up and then wait for another 9-person queue just to drop the damned thing off. Were told it would take 2 days and that we would receive another SMS to confirm it is ready. 2 days later we get the SMS and go back... just to find yet ANOTHER queue of 5 people, all given the same appointment, and all there just to pick up their fixed products and ALL being served by just ONE employee, who basically spends 10-20 minutes with EACH ONE going through the "delivery procedures". It basically takes them an HOUR AND A HALF to finally hand us the phone back!! Needless to say, I hope I NEVER have to deal with any apple product or employee ever again!! PS: I should say we were lucky it was just a phone. Our friends who were there to fix their MacBook were told their drop-off appointment was in 9 DAYS!

chiara biI think its not enough to own the Sauron ring to be able to work with Apple customers, little more kindness would be welcome!! And... why to take an appointment if in the appointed day you have to wait forty minutes anyway? Once you are there you cant leave the place whilst they are checking your device , so you have to wait other time... and then, when finally your device finished the restore, the guy from the staff is following another customer, so you have to waaaiiit agaiiiin! There is much more staff in the sale section than in the maintenance one, maybe because you get more money by selling items then repairing? Just add staff.

The phone is almost a month old but if you look at its screen, you will feel as it is more than 10 years old. Having your device checked entails waiting in an absurdly long queue because only one genius is allocated to support while all the others just hang around high-fiving friends etc. when you finally get there you are told to hang around for an hour before they can actually take the device from you! Basically you have to get double booked with them. I just need to drop off my phone for repair! What if I have to go back to work and hang around in a mall like a tourist?!? Absolutely hopeless.
