We stayed here for 1 night to start our honeymoon and we had an amazing stay! They went above and beyond for us! Put rose petals on our bed saying "I ❤ U" and delivering cake on our room for no charge. They also upgraded us to a suite! I highly recommend to be a horizon club member. Its free and gives you a ton of benefits! The people working there were so nice to us and gave us an excellent service. Special thanks to Bo Bo for his very good service that made us feel very well treated

The service has slipped. This used to be an amazing place. Some venues are great like the Hoi An and Horizon Club but overall lack of amenities at the gym with equipment not working due to no batteries being supplied and basic maintenance such as blown light globes and the smell of tobacco make it a little less attractive. No loyalty points for long term people and the dismissive attitude for those same people who bring big repeat business to the hotel through their clients speak a lot about management lack of respect for clients. Long term clients get no recompense when things go wrong whereas short stays are always recompensed for a fault during their stay. Long term refers to those who have lived in the hotel more than a year. Disappointing to see the change. Loyal staff are leaving and this is a loss to the Shangri La

Nothing exceptional. A major irritant about Shangrila Dubai is they take $300 security deposit even though you have fully paid for your room in advance. I wont repeat my stay here for this reason.

Amazing hotel in Dubai. Love the gym and pool they have on site (tennis court and squash court available). Amazing spa, super relaxing. Awesome restaurants (Chinese, Vietnamese, Moroccan etc) night club on site and IKandy bar by the pool side from 6pm good place for a low key catch up with friends. Oh they make really awesome shisha there too. Free valet parking when youre not a guest and uses any of the facilities on site. A must stay hotel if youre looking for a place to relax in Dubai.

When you want to know the true meaning of 5-star rating for a hotel, start here. Shangri-la Dubai and the chain in general has an irrefutable record of raising the bar when it comes to hospitality. We use this place for its fine dine restaurants, coffee shop for meetings and their health club for staying fit. Cant say what I would do without it.

Review Shang Palace is an elegant oriental restaurant in the Shangri-la and is a good place for the cuisine centrally in Dubai. We were celebrating our dad’s 60th and wanted to take him to what we’d define as “someplace nice" Ambiance Opulent and eye catching with its red and gold decor and dim lighting. Some people might find it a bit flashy but we loved being there. It gave a very authentic feel without being very uptight like its other fine dining counterparts. Verdict– Would be go back? YES! We had a conference room booked for an event. The event went well and the hotel staff was checking often that everything was well supplied and good. The bad part is the renovations in the hotel. We had to enter through the back door and only 2 elevators were working. We had to wait 5 minutes on the way up and more then 10 on the way down. the worst part was that even the stairs were blocked for renovation. To me this seems unsafe. I was only on the 2nd floor and was unable to walk down to my car and had to wait for an elevator going UP to get a spot on the way down. Bad planning.

Most arrogant, unpleasant, rude staff except house keeping, with mangers and the management being the worst to level of unexpectable. Unprofessional to highest limits, nasty experience. No way imaginable as a 5 star hotel with the human resources of the hotel, but the property quality of the hotel is great but is blinded by the dirt filled staff and professionalism with guests. The operator Shangrila should be penalized.

I stayed in Shangri-La hotel between April the 26 to 29th , it was an unpleasant experience with dishonest managers and unprofessional behaviour. Do not be fall into the trap of it being a five star hotel, whilst the general staff were polite, the management team I assume has never heard of the expression that the customer is always right, what did the customer want? A individual invoice for each of the three rooms that he had booked.
