Patrick OwensLegit Chinese food, with legit Chinese atmosphere. You either like that or you whine about service. Personally after living in China for 10 years I dont expect a LOT when it comes to service, though to be fair, Ive never had an issue here so Im not sure what others may be whining about. The food however is excellent, authentic Chinese fare and Homey has become my go-to "comfort food" spot when Im craving something from the Middle Kingdom.

Otto R.We lived for two year in China and started to like the food, which was different to the western style Chinese food, that is only a site note. More then a year ago we went the first time to Homey JLT and figured out that the food is more authentic than any other Chinese Restaurant we tried before in Dubai. We just love it there as it is a good mix between the Chinese food which adapted to the western tongue and the real Chinese Chinese food.

Namrata ManghnaniIts been a while since Ive had some good Chinese food, and Id like to thank Zomato for helping me discover this gem! The interiours were cute and the restaurant had a very cosy ambience. When we sat down at our table, we received complimentary prawn crackers and black tea in a cute teapot! We ordered Prawns in Wasabi sauce, and believe you me it was the best prawns Ive ever had! It was soft yet crunchy and the sauce made it tasty! I ordered a Mint Lime beverage, but found out theyve run out of mint and hence ordered a Watermelon Juice. It was quite fresh and refreshing! For the main course, we asked our server to suggest something good and non-spicy in Chicken. He recommended Chicken in Black Bean Sauce with Chicken Fried Rice, which was heavenly to say the least! The portions of all the dishes were huge (fit for two easily), and our server was sweet. We received complimentary fruits at the end of our meal - watermelon and orange slices. They were really fresh and the best way to end our satisfying meal! The only reason why I would cut 1 point is coz of the service, which was at a snails pace. The food took extremely long (15 minutes easily) and we ended up waiting more than eating *sigh* Even though the food was worth the wait, they need to increase the staff or improve on service time.

Omair SayaIm always down to try new places and give everyone an equal chance to impress. Majority of the time its an average place with ok food, but every once-in-a-while you get a shocker!! This was it!!! The food was just horrible, was very bland and didnt even taste like Chinese food, we just ate it cuz we were hungry. Ill give them thumbs up for service, the servers were attentive and speedy. Verdict: Stay Away

Mark CijoThe worst place I have ever been to in JLT. Waited 50 mins to get the overly greasy juicy food. The supervisor when asked about the delay was so rude.. Never again..
