Ralph NadersonTotal rip-off. A real disgrace for the SIXT brand. They need a new franchisee or make it a corporate location. They cant get away with what they do. Not only that they dont follow up on VIP upgrades in the booking, they also never tell you ahead of time of their weird policy for contraventions. The UAE seems to be a total police state because if youre driving they have speed cameras all over the place. So if you dont stick to their pathatic speed limits they clock you and ticket you left right and center. Im definitely no speeder and usually try to stick to all speed limits. Any car rental company in the world would simply forward the address of the driver to the authorities and let them deal with it. They might charge a handling fee for forwarding the address of the renter, but thats it. Not so with SIXT in the UAE: they take the money for any traffic violation right out of your credit card account without even notifying you ahead of time or possibly itemizing the various tickets in detail. So all of a sudden out of the blue youre whammed with thousands in violation charges. Not funny and totally unprofessional and random! Unless you have a proper credit card company you will be stuck with these outrageous fines. SIXT has to change that policy or at least make their customers aware of it ahead of time. It is not something that can be assumed, because at all other SIXT stations in europe its handled properly to the benefit of the renter without any surprises.

salim diaThey are ROBBERS!!! Dont rent with them... Service was sooooo POOR!!! I booked a car seat along with a car 2 weeks before picking it up but No car seat was waiting for me when I arrived in Dubai. They only proposed me to give my money back. No other solution. Really??? I was told that Sixt would provide me with a car seat the day after... They never called me!!! The worse: After dropping off the car everything was clear, no dent on the car, tank full of gas, you guys know the routine... What was my surprise when I figured out that they took my deposit... 1 month later???? They are true ROBBERS. Do yourself a favor, dont rent with SIXT DUBAI, any other one would be way better than them... Even one star is too much to rate them...

Donna ThomasWe used this car rental on the weekend just for 3 hours and it could not have been easier. Best thing of this car rental is that it has a grace period so if you return the car within this period after your scheduled return time; you wont be charged any extra fees. Returning your rental vehicle after the grace period will cost you, but not as much as you might think.
