The place is nice and nice decoration as well, I really liked the way they serve you, but food is not very nice, Ive tried barbecues they were not nice they dont taste good. If you really want a very tasty food then this restaurant is not yours. Otherwise good at everything. Just food is not perfect in terms of food i would rate 4 out of 10..

Great food. The chicken kebab, mutton kebab and butter chicken were the best food items I had. The paneer was a let down, as it had no flavour. The kebabs were on the spicy side. The jelebi was far too sweet for my liking. Pani Puri was good, not great. Sweet lassi was great, although I requested that it not be cold, which was a mistake. Lassi should always be ice cold. They also had Chinese/ Japanese food options but I wasnt in the mood for those. They also had a wide variety of starters which I passed on for the most part. With buffets I find it is best to have a very small amount of everything and then once youve found something that you like, go big next round. Overall I am very satisfied with both the service and quality of the food. The place is actually nicer than it appears from the outside. One last thing, their desi tea is fantastic.

Good ambience. Went for Iftaar. Average food and was not juicy or hot by the time your brimg it to the table. Iftaar time was chaotic but staff managed it properly. Taste of food was average although presentation waa good. Overall good place to dine but food taste is average. They were promoting a couple of mocktails..tried them too and nothing special. Shuhabudin was a manager and very professional and hospitable.

A highly recommended place I have been here twice and both the times i was satisfied with the food they provide They have a massive variety of food for their buffet..from veg to chicken to mutton to prawns You name it they have it They have a chaat counter for pani puri, sev puri, bhel puri, etc They best part for starters we wanted to have grills They have grills to display and whatever you select within 5-7 mins they cook it fresh you They have a pasta counter .. You tell them how you want it and they make it for you... And it meets your expectations... Salad counter- is quiet generic when you go for buffet Main course - try their butter chicken Dessert counter- one of the best dessert counter They have chocolate fondue with wafer, marshmellows or fruits They have gulab jamun, gajar ka halwa, phirni, sheerkhand, mango panacota and more... The best one is mango panacota ... I can have like more than 4-5 it is so delicious ... Taking about it makes me feel like having it Staff is very friendly they keep a check on you from time to time .. If you need anything... Also the best part i had spoken to one of the staff and asked him .. What do you do with the left over food?? They best reply.. We give it to labour camps .. Wow ... Many other places throw the food which i do not recommend Giving food to the needy is the best thing you can do Ambiance - Very Good Food - Excellent Drinks - Regular sodas is what we had Presentation - Excellent Staff - friendly Price - Very Good Overall - Excellent

Good ambience and great food. The staff is prompt and courteous. Starters were all good and plenty. Fish dishes were very good. Main course again was well done. The sweets and pattisery were again great and plentiful in veriety. Drinks and water are chargeable separately. They also accept Entertainer vouchers.

Review Its always a pleasure being invited by different restaurants because they want your honest opinion and view about them! Grand Barbeque Buffet was no exception and we instantly booked our visit and made our way there with a huge appetite! It was super easy to locate as its very close to the iconic Ibis hotel in Satwa! There is aplenty parking so no worry about that. Ambiance Quite frankly, we underestimated the place and had a perception of it but everything changed when we arrived! It was 9:00pm then, and the majority of the Iftar crowd was about to leave so it was a bit bustling with activity and people! The interiors will almost transport you to any other fine dine restaurant but update with bright light instead of the same old dim-light mood settings! A combination of gold and brown makes up for most of the place which makes it look quite royal honestly! Not bad at all, we thought! Also, the restaurant is HUGE! They say they can comfortably accommodate at least 250 diners at any given time. Wow! The co-owner of the place had made arrangements for us in one of the "private-cabin" style rooms, which we thought is a great addition to any restaurant especially for large families that would appreciate some quiet and privacy to themselves! The private cabin is very rare in restaurants in Dubai. I can literally count the number of restaurants that still have them and was completely impressed by the privacy and space of this particular version. Food After we settled in and ordered our drinks we were escorted out of our cabin to the buffet area to pick our salads! There was a huge salad counter with at least 12 different varieties in veg as well as non-veg. They also had a ton of sauces to go with them as per the individual liking of the customer! My favourite was the chicken barbecue salad and the hummus! One of their special varieties was the pineapple salad which was basically thickly cut pineapple tossed in a balsamic-ish tangy dressing! Yum! Verdict The food varieties are ENDLESS here with more than 80 dishes on offer from about 6 cuisines, and Iftar or no Iftar, you must go here to experience excellent quality food with a very reasonable price of AED 75/-. Where else will you get unlimited dimsums and chaat on an Iftar menu? Its definitely a steal and we highly recommend this place for a visit with the entire familia. Oh, and make a reservation for the private cabin! --A drop of ink may make a million think. PawanManghnani

GBB is a breath of fresh air in the desi bbq buffet genre monopolized for far too long by the likes of BBQ Delights/Tonite. Dont let the unassuming and humble signage fool you - the interiors are spacious and fairly fancy compared to its counterparts - with a service to match. Everyone - from the host who sat us down to the waiters who served us - seemed passionate and took pride in their work - which is always an excellent sign for any business let alone a restaurant. The food is excellent - if a little mild for those who are used to lethal levels of chillis like myself. Theres a very decent selection of vegetarian options which other restaurants in the same genre lack. The attention to detail and presentation is second to none. The owner - Haji Gani comes accross as an impassioned and ardent food enthusiast, and kept recommending various items to us including the delectable Pineapple Salad (tangy pineapple slices marinated in a red chilli sauce) which was utterly delicious. Theres a live pasta station which while it may seem a non-conformist addition for an Indian eatery, is an excellent idea. Theres also a chaat/snack bar that serves freshly made chaats and pani puri - plus a chocolate fountain and a wide array of desserts in those neat little shot glasses you only get at five-star buffets. Final word - a worthy addition to the Desi food scene and one that gives you a near five star experience in service and quality, for ridiculously low prices. At 55/75 Dhs youd almost feel guilty of fleecing the restaurant, given whats on offer and the quality of service to match. Bookmark this and try it out at the first opportunity.

It is a food lovers paradise. The restaurant is situated in a very prominent location, with free valet parking. Big restaurant with good spacing between tables. They also have private cabins. They serve an International buffet, with a large variety of foods and deserts ranging from Chinese, Thai, Indian, Arabic, Turkish, Italian, etc.. They have a live pasta cooking station and Indian Chaat station too. The Chinese momos are a must try.. I am a foody... with my experience, I am sure this restaurant will be the most popular buffet joint in the town... I visited them again last week. They plan to start an A la carte menu too. I had the malai kadak sheek kebab. Perfectly done. Awesome taste.
