Happiness OkoroaforThe hotel staff where quite friendly and accommodating, walking distance from metro, price pretty fair too. Travelling as a group or family? You should stay at Winchester as the rooms are quite spacious. I totally enjoyed my stay in Winchester hotel.

Jungmin BaeI stayed here for 6 nights with a group for the business trip last week. [ROOM] The room is spacious as the hotel is also doing residence or serviced apartments. [FOOD]The breakfast was ok but there were not many options [LOCATION] Carrfour is 30 minutes - walk away from the hotel. I traveled by a tour bus so I only heard there is a metro station nearby. [STAFFS} A woman working at the reception desk was not so helpful, she could not even help getting a taxi. Bell boys are friendly but some employee, a bell boy from Bangladesh, working night shift, asked me IF HE COULD SMOKE at the BALCONY in MY ROOM!, as soon as I spoke friendly with him, though I told him I do not smoke. How rude? , and i was a woman staying at the room alone, so it was very doubtful and obnoxious what he was thinking about me. He probably underestimated me as I was an Asian girl. And, maid/hose keepers were mostly men,,,I was uncomfortable with that. Overall, I would never stay at this hotel again and let the tour agency book this hotel for other innocent guests.

Rabi RanaWas an ok hotel in terms of cleanliness and the size of the rooms. all the staff (except for the cleaners) and service is a complete joke though! stayed here with my family and niece for 8 nights, got moved from our room 4 times because of something or the other not working, we had an 18 month old baby with us too. The first problem we had was that the electricity in the room cut out three times, we spoke of this problem to Mercy the manager and she said she would move us to another room in the morning, when morning came there was another manager there, who did not move us and it was not until the evening where Mercy had some stern words with him that we got moved. Only to find out that a couple of hours later someone else had moved into the very same room we were having problems with. The second room the glass tables were not bolted on properly and nearly fell onto my niece, the air conditioning was not working, the wifi never seemed to work at any time, we had a countless number of times were the card readers for the door would never work, the maintenance team would always take a minimum of two hours of getting to you to resolve your problem. The third time we moved from our room the air conditioning did not work, in a 40degrees outside temperature, and then maintenance came to resolve it, they then went out of the room and missing only for me to go and find them downstairs at reception where along with the receptionists and manager they were laughing at us and other residents, in there own words If they cant bare 28degrees room temperature, how will they bare 40degrees outside. Oh the shock on their face when they knew they had been caught out! I was not the only one in the hotel that was having problems, there were numerous other people complaining, many of them who were on working holidays. I have stayed in golden sands before and would recommend this over Winchester Grand and it is usually a cheaper hotel.
