I, my wife and my twins (10months) really loved our stay. We spent there almost 9 days and was hard to leave. All the staff were really amazing, especially Mintu from the housekeeping which took a special care of us, Hazel and the restaurant supervisor, always available and extremely helpful. I really think that is a great place given the price, moreover if you want to have some night life as well. But definitely the best staff I have seen in a while, which made our stay unforgettable.

A great place which offers a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. Has all amenities you require. The restaurants within the facility provides good meals and snacks. If you check-in early and want to leave your luggage, they provide a luggage room where you can keep your stuff safely.

Affordable rates and top notch service. They allow you to order anything from outside even deliveries such as souqs(uaes amazon). pool and gym are opened for most of the hours and during night you can see skyscrapers and downtown dubai in full glory.

there are about 50 things wrong witht this place dont ever stay here unless you are really really on a tight budget. Our 10 night stay was disastrous the only 3 perks are the pool gym and the quick room service otherwise its all bad. the rooms are old toilets dont work fridge doesnt work water in shower is either to cold or to hot the hotel gives u nothing but water and tea packets and cleanish towels. The hotel parking is a maze and we even hit our car coming out of the tight spots the restaurants downstairs are overpriced and dont even taste good. Staff is nice but could be nicer. the neighbors are stingy and loud some have no manners and the smell in the halls is vamitrocious. id never come back here even if someone payed me to rather pay a few more bucks for at least an average hotel this is definitely below average.

It has all that is needed. It has an Indian restaurant Claypot, a Chinese restaurant Sizzling Wok, a locally popular Huddle Bar. Al Fahidi and ADCB (Al Karama) Metro stations are 15 mins walk away. It has a Jyothi super market nearby. To add it to all, it has friendly staff and cool ambience at the reception.

What a terrible experience. Please spend slightly more money and go to a hotel that you can explore. Hotel is on the highway so you cant reallywalk to anything. PLEASE do not get the breakfast plan. The breakfast was sooo bad the first day, that I asked to cancel after that day. Note to hotel, I still have not received refund for breakfast plan that was pre charged on my credit card.

Budget 3 star hotel which tries hard to be more than that. Good sports bar. Reasonably sized rooms. Cleaning staff was decent as well. However the breakfast was just disgusting. About 1-2 km from the nearest metro station Need to add another thing THE FREE WIFI IS SO FREAKING SLOW, WITH A DOWNLOAD SPEED OF 256KB/S. THEY HAVE PAID WIFI HOWEVER ITS JUST TOO COSTLY FOR THE SPEED PROVIDED. 1MB/S FOR AED 75 (48 Hours) Ridiculous.

Very nice hotel for a 3* hotel. My room was confortable enough and clean. The AC is very well set. I didnt like the bathroom since I dont like the bathtub I prefer the shower cabin. Reception personnel are very qualified and professional however the bellboys seem to be disorganized basically at the new arrivals.

This is the worst 3star hotel in Dubai i,ve ever been to. (1) First of all, staff is very rude and does not coporate.on our arival, our lugage did not reach our room for 4 hours.we kept calling reception and they kept telling me to wait.after 4 hours they asked me to go to store room.when i went to store room my lugage was there and a guy named Bilal told me tgat i myself have to take luggage to the room.nobody helped me. (2) this hotel has about 700 rooms .it is always noisy and rushy.u feel like living in a bazar or marketplace. Lobby has resturent, gaming zo e and several other things that mame the hotel so rushy (3) swiming pool is very small compared to number of guests. In my 7 days stay i never found swiming pool not rushy.alwayz lots of people in the pool. (4) hotel location is worst.it feels like ur living near a desert with fine roads. Metro station and all attractions are so far u cannot go by walking again and agai. Everytime u want to go to any nearest place like a resturent or metro stop, u must spend 12 dhs on taxi for goinng and another 12 dhs for comming back. (5) rooms are clean but extremly small.u get tired of the bed but chair is placed in a small corner where u cannot even strech ur legs (6) they dont allow outside visitots but as hotel is rushy, if u do not contact recpetion n just take yr guest they wont even notice lols. Even they do not allow food delivery inside. Anyways to be honest, i am a Pakistani and i noticed that mostly the Pakistani staff is rude and troubulent. Excuse me.if i am wrong.but im never going back to this hotel again

Nice hotel. Rooms are really clean and so are the bathrooms. This is my 2nd time i am staying here plus it really close to the Burjuman Mall and there are like 3 metro stations that are in walking distance from the hotel. You can get to the Dubai mall and other place quiet conveniently from the nearby metros. Plus the hotel even offers a free bus to the Dubai mall and the local beach. Even though when we went to the Mall we were dropped off but the driver told us he would be picking from the number 2 zone at 8pm we got there ten minutes but couldnt even find the bus plus it was so so busy so after waiting 20 minutes we just ended up getting the metro. So that just a warning that with it being so busy with lots of buses you may have a similar experience to me. The staff are ok. I think customer service is a bit of an issue especially when your talking to a staff member and then another comes by and just starts their own conversation so rude because your just left to wait otherwise no issues. It is a 15-20 minute drive from the airport. And if you get a front facing room youll get a view of the Burj Khalifa in the midst of all the other skyscrapers of Dubai. Hope you all have a great holiday if you visit Dubai!!

Budget stays centrally located in Bur Dubai. If you are an Indian looking for a budget stay this is the place! The place is run by Indian management, the rooms arent too big but well maintained for a budget stay. Room service is decent, slow at times. Restaurants are very good. If you are looking for vegetarian options, there is a Kamath hotel across the street. There is a good discount running most of the time for more than 3-4 days stay.

hotel reception staff is very unprofessional and arrogant, they even dint provided a housekeeping person to put the luggage into the van at the time of check out, even when I requested them that I have 9 bags to put, they dint pay any heed. Then, I put the entire baggage alone. No coordination between their internal city café and reception staff and due to their coordination problem I suffered a lot and humiliated. city café (restaurant) people says you can not eat here, we dont have any payment information in our systems, so first pay money, (it is when my traveller had already paid the full money 10 days back to them), when I told them so, they told we can not do anything, I called my traveler and they realized their mistake in three hours. on the top of that, while checking out, reception staff says pay money for city café dinner (which were already paid), did lot of fight, again they realized their mistake after taking lot of time. will not recommend for anybody, they even close your room electronically with their mistake, then you need to wait and fight to open the door. At the time of check in , I was not informed about the hotel tax by my traveler to pay them, I told at the reception that, it is already very late check in (2 am in the morning due to flight problem), I will talk to my traveler today in the day time, and will pay the tax, then they replied, we will not allow you, you go out side the hotel. the reception staff, I would say is worst!!

We lodged at Citymax Hotel for 5 nights and it was a pleasant experience. First of all the hotel is situated near the Al Fahidi metro (train) station which links you to most of the major sites in Dubai and also has some restaurants like KFC, McDonalds etc. just about 10 mins walk from the hotel and oh not forgetting a good Chinese restaurant just on the ground floor. The hotel has cosy rooms which are well equipped for a pleasant stay e.g. There was a safety box, fridge, toiletries & bottles of water provided every day and items for beverage available all the time. The staff were very hospitable and helpful especially a fellow Ghanaian I met (Kennedy). In all, I would recommend Citymax for anyone who plans a vacation in Dubai

I stayed here with a friend for 5 nights. We checked in late, around 9pm, which was not an issue. It was quiet, so check-in was really easy and quick. We were initially given a room on the first floor with a window but no outside view. I had read that sleep could be disrupted in first-floor rooms due to music from the bar downstairs, so we asked for a room switch next morning and went out. By the time we got back in the afternoon, there was a room made ready for us on the sixth floor, and it was great! Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Cafe in the lounge is great for light breakfast (coffee, croissants etc). The roof swimming pool is a bit on the small side, though, and was always busy. Staff were very polite; reception and housekeeping were happy to supply us with extra towels, bottled water etc. This hotel sits (approximately) between two metro stations. If you dont mind walking for 15-20 mins, its in the perfect location. Just make sure you cover up from the sun. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. Hotel also has a free shuttle bus service to Dubai Mall, Al Mamzar Beach etc., make full use of them! :)

This place has roof-top swimming pool, various restaurants and a dance floor. Their usual check-in time is 2pm, but on request they do allow early check-in by 11am. Hotel Reception and Service Staff is friendly and theres a super market nearby in case one need anything. Note: Before you run out of tiny water bottles offered in room, go out to nearby super market and buy two little bottles to save some bucks.

Finally Checked in today Me (orignally From Pakistan) and my wife (Originally from China) both living and married in Canada came all the way from Canada, i booked the room from expedia When we got here on reception i gave my expedia itinerary the receptionist looked at us and says we dont allow couple from 2 diffrent nationalities. I asked him what you mean she is my wife then he ask me if you have any proof then i will gv you the room. He shocked me and made me really upset. I told him I dont have any proof with me but i have our wedding photo which i showed him and we gave him our passports so he can see we both came from Canada. Then he let us check in. Room is sòoo small like cage. Wash room is really tiny Shower has half glass but has no ther half no curtain while talking shower all water is spilling out. Really upset.

Read all reviews and thought it’s a good place for a 3 week stay, given the rate, location, facilities and staff. Checked-in on July 19th and wanted to check out on Aug 10th. A room cleaning guy comes to my room every day (some Bangladeshi fellow) - a friendly guy, I tip him every day, and no other guy ever entered my room (at least in my presence). There is a locker in the room where I keep my cash safe along with my passport, visa etc. and password protected. I typically lock the locker go out to the floor lobby, talk or chat on phone when he cleans the bed and the living space, and come back in when he sets the bathroom. But I am human after all, perhaps can happen to anybody, I miss locking the locker once. 6 days gone past. I am supposed to have AED 5000 to pay off my remaining stay and other living expenses. Also INR 1300 for my return to India where I would spend this on the cab from Airport to home. I come back from a business meeting today, unlock the locker and count the money i have - AED 2000 + INR 300!! I lodged a complaint and with great effort could convince them to take the complaint. I approached the room cleaning guy and he coldly says "Go file a complaint, they will check the finger prints" (in Hindi). Later when I pass him again near the elevator, he is giggling at me asking if I filed a complaint yet. I am left with money that doesnt even cover the room rate for the rest of my stay. Is this the kind of staff you want to hire Citymax, thieves?? What kind of training have you given them? If a guest by mistake doesnt lock the locker, take the liberty to take whatever you want?? And who takes responsibility for your staffs actions?? Who is going to feel safe staying here? I dont think I am going to get my money back and I recommend you to think twice with such staff working there. How could you ever feel safe leaving the room, with many things inside the locker and perhaps equally valuable things outside the locker that may vanish when you return?

Рецепшн англоязычный, кроме одной сотрудницы.Так же в холе находится столик русскоязычной девушки, у которой можно заказать экскурсии,она также может помочь объясниться. При знании же английского вообще проблем никаких. В предоставленном номере окна выходили на парковку,ночью часто было шумно из-за паркующихся автобусов. Но по первой же просьбе номер заменили. Кухня шведского стола не особенно разнообразна,но вполне вкусно. Много блюд индийской кухни. Также гостиница предоставляет бесплатный трансфер до пляжа Аль мамзар(платный,так же выделен день недели для посещения исключительно женщинами) и Дубай молла

Отель в общем понравился. Удобное расположение. Стандартные номера. Есть все, что нужно. Фен есть. Утюг дают. Не берите с собой, у них не такие розетки как у нас. Кофе, чай, сахар дают каждый день. Уборка каждый день. Все чисто и хорошо. Завтраки замечательные. Хватает на весь день. Бассейн на крыше. Чистый, вода правда теплая. Я думаю, что не успевает остывать а холодную не подливают. Один минус в отеле - негде сушить купальные принадлежности. В номере они просто не сохнут. А вывесить на улицу некуда. А так все очень даже хорошо.
