Rohit JayakaranFood is very spicy. They have a buffet in the afternoon over the weekend. Was not impressed with the quality of food. It felt a little old. Also while leaving noticed the manager raising this voice with the coming staff. Did not feel warm and friendly like it used to be.

We been customers for a long time and recently realized the inside story. New staff is really rude if you ask to change something in between you place an order. If you would like to eat best and quality Sri Lankan cuisine chef lanka is the wrong place. Do not give this food to your kids at any cost.

Muhammadhu Ismail Muhammadhu SaabirToo much crowded in Friday evening. Food ordered all together and came to table one by one... had to eat kottu then wait few minutes string hoppers came. Wait more time appa portion came... Food are tasty as in Sri Lanka, but expensive compared to other restaurants. Big hassle is finding a parking slot.

Rasheed RezaMade an order at 11:41 am today here and was devastated with the service they provided. Followed up on the order after 1 hour to only be informed that delivery only begins for them at 12.30. However, trusting the lady on who answered the phone that the order will be delivered in 10 mins it never showed up. After calling them to for the second time, the same lady informed me that the rider is not responding to her calls and hence the reason for not being updated for the orders progress. A few minutes later as it was over one and a half hours. I contact them to get riders contact. Once I contacted him he informed me that the food was just prepared and he is about to leaving. I confronted the restaurant with the information they bluntly called their rider a liar to cover their backs. The order was delivered only mins after that at 1.46pm. No care for the customer was considering and not even a sincere apology. What was deliver was sarcastic comments that the food had arrived what do you want now. I have no idea why they do not understand customer service and have no initiative to look this. Just be sarcastic and say things like " you have said enough sir" "you have the food now what do you want" All this bein said the food is good. But surely will not use their service again just because the lack of customer ethic .

Tec DI ordered egg noodles & devilled chicken for 30 people from chef lanka, last friday for an event hosted at my place in al Quoz. The food delivered at 08:00 PM night & just after 4 hrs, noodles was staled & no once can eat them. Chicken devilled was made with salad capsicum(not malu miris) & full of ketch up. one of the chafing dish had a water leakage, which made my buffet table a mess. They billed me AED 680, but given a discount price at AED 620 by the time I place my order. However I had to pay AED 650 at the time of delivery without prior information. I was so embarrassed in front of my guest :( this is my first & last experience with chef lanka.

Anie AtmajieThey have the best nasi goreng in town! I usually have nasi goreng and hotbutter cuttlefish. Those two are good for 2 people as the nasi goreng is quite big for me alone. If you like spicy they have chilli sauce which is more like sambal, which is good. Affordable price, about 30 per person.
