Long time I used to sell stuff to cash converters I was naive and mere fool they paid me little cash when I look at the display. Of stuff I used to sell they sell in high price I was very Disillusioned. Only way to make a living is find a job and future start your own business.

I am surprised that this company is still going on with their immoral ways to make money. This is what they did to us: we wanted to sell our dishwasher. So they picked it up (which was charged but we would get that money back once the machine was sold). After some days, the manager called us to say that the dishwasher was not good enough to sell (which was nonsense by the way). I could choose: picking it up again, or they would deliver it back to us but we would (again!) be charged. They could also give it to charity for free. I said "give it to charity then because I have no car". How could I be so naive. A few days later, my husband visited the store to ask what was wrong with the dishwasher, and there it was: our dishwasher, just for sale, with some other dishwashers, standing in the store! This is simply lying and stealing. We reported this to Dubai Government months ago.

If there is less than a 1 star this should be the rating, as the this is the biggest ripoff place in Dubai. They estimate your items as 10% of its original price, then they will sell them in rye same price as brand new !!!

a week ago I went to sell some items, and they asked me to leave them in the store for evaluation. They called me later to give a ridiculous amount for the two boxes, and I said that is rather pick them up. I have a new born baby, so I forgot to do that. The manager calls me all angry and so rude, telling me that if I dont pick them up in an hour they are giving them away to charity, not even allowing me any time to talk. So I told her to just go ahead and give it away! That is not a proper way to treat your customers. I was so disappointed. A friend of mine told me about her experience where she went to sell carpets and they told her they do not but that they can give to to charity and when she went back there one day she saw her carpets displayed for sale. I really hope they were collecting that money for charity.

If you want to buy some second hand furniture or home appliances in Dubai, there is no better place than Cash Converters. Some stuff are almost like brand new so its really not worth paying the full price for the same item if you can get it half price here. Get on the metro and get off on Noor Bank station. Its about 7 minute walk from there.

Cash Converters is a place to check out before you pick up your new appliances, furniture and home theatre electronics. They also have used musical instruments, DVD and Bluray movies, garden furniture amongst other things. Definitely a must visit for good-condition second hand (used) stuff before buying it retail. They make sure that everything is a good working order. You can even sell your old stuff and they will sell it off for you (for a percentage of the sale made).
