Polina MoiseenkoWe have been taking our pets to this clinic for a few years, even though pricey (which is the norm for most veterinary services ) our pets have always received quality care. Unfortunately the last visit left us quite speechless. We have taken our cat Mango in for some urinary tract issues that he has been experiencing, we were told that he will have to get a catheter, treatment and be left at the clinic for a few days, this was fine by us. When we came to pick Mango up we have immediately noticed that his right eye was red and swollen , we were told at the reception that as the animals left unsupervised during the night he managed to pull off the protective cone off his head and pull the Catheter out so as a result of him pulling the cone he scratched and injured his eye. We were quite astonished that we were told about it so matter of factly. As we expressed our dissatisfaction with the situation, the story of what occurred changed pretty quickly , we were told that we probably brought in a cat with an eye infection or herpes . Accidents do happen, but if they do happen, take responsibility, be accountable for what happens to the animals that are in your sole care, and treat the issue that occurred as a result of your carelessness. Instead we picked up a pet in the worse condition that we left him in. We also got charged additionally for eye drops and eye cream. This is by far the most irresponsible and unprofessional treatment we have ever received from a veterinary clinic, and this is after we paid them 4500 Dhs just for this one visit. To make matters worse, the cats eye did not get better and as we took Mango else where for second opinion about his eye, we were told that it was an obvious physical injury, and since he didnt receive immediate and correct diagnosis and treatment, there is irreversible damage to his eye( a white film covering the eye, so he can not see out of it). We just wanted to advise all of the pet parents to be very cautious leaving your pets in care of these people. It seems that there is very little genuine concern about the pets well being, and at this point we would not trust them with our gold fish. Unacceptable, irresponsible, careless , unprofessional, dishonest. — Moiseenko Family
