The global village is really huge and a lot of people visited this. However, the organization was extremely good that there was no problem finding parking or purchasing tickets on the spot and entering the area. We were not quite sure what to expect of this place. Once we entered, we realized its more like a huge supermarket (styled in an amusement park kind of way) so people can buy different things from different countries. All the different areas are marked with the different country names. Some countries have a huge space (such as China, Turkey, and India), while others are quite small (Germany, France, the South East Asia, and so on). At first, it was quite interesting, we started with Turkey where they had a lot of Turkish food and souvenirs that you could buy. There was also some interesting attraction (for free) if you are full from eating all the food. However, once you visit more and more countries, it seems like they are not really selling products that are authentic (this is mostly the case from European, South East Asia countries). We visited the Germany section and was surprised to see that they only have tattoo parlor (??), which was not German at all. The South East Asia countries were all round up in one corner and they did not sell products that are originally from the country, so it was quite disappointing, we thought that we would be able to really experience different culture equally, although some countries do have more authentic stuff that you could see and taste. All in all it was quite interesting, although a little bit disappointing. It would be good for them to sell more authentic products, and if they do not manage to do that, then maybe its better to focus on certain countries that do.

Global village is place of amusement and another world of shopping. where there you wont miss a single pavilion to visit and enjoy their cultural activities and hostility. its a place where you find mouth watering global food test. every single day surprises thing waiting for you and their stuffs are welcoming and helpful make sure you really enjoying and move better. you will understand the discipline and feel secure even though its crowded.

“Great for experiencing many cultures at one place” I loved the concept when I first heard about it. Ever country has its building decorated with its cultural theme. Inside the building there are shops selling their souvenirs. The entrance is only 15 AED. There are many food outlets selling different food around the world. You can see us buying the traditional Syrian Tamarind drink.

Amazing Place. Its sort of a funfair which houses stalls as big as a one floored building for all the countries across the world. These stall have delicacies and stuff each of the countries are know for or would proudly display for sale respectively. Its huge and a treat to the eye. Just like going around the world in a few hours. WOULD RECOMMEND TO :Start Early. Be there when the place Opens cause one never has enough time to cover the entire place. Make sure you taste all the different regional delicacies. One can get really good and fairly priced stuff from all over the world. Use the power of bargain. The place looks beautiful once lit up after dark. There is a five ten mins of beautiful fireworks show towards the games and amusement section. There are for one to take home huge and life size variety of soft toys after winning games in the amusement section. You can also get kids carts which little children can use instead of prams.

Global village is a must visit place for all dubai visitors. It is open in the winter where you can enjoy walking from 4 pm to midnight. Suitable for all. You may buy traditional food and you see special goods from all around the world. If you are in Dubai while Global village is open, do not miss the chance and go visit. It is worth it.

Great place to visit but recommend in winter. This is an outdoors location and can be a bit ikky during warmer months. Kids will have fun, lots to do and see. There is a live show at the top of every hour usually with dancing and music. You can find lots of international products that are fairly priced.

Fun Place to plan a trip with Families, friends, young, old all in all fun place. Its not just shopping destination, thanks to Dubai Government for bringing different cultures and tradition in one place, there are plenty of programs in each pavilions showcasing there traditional dance and music. The Global Village is an amusement park in Dubai. Transportation and parking is very fluent in the area. Ample space in the site to park. Mediocre ticket cost of entry. Around 30 countries have set up their stalls. They even have replica of the historical monuments of their country. Nice play area for the kids to play. With a centrally located stage for performance of different beats and origins. Lots of food stalls in the area for eating .The park is typically open at the evening around 4pm and closes by midnight. Time required to spend their would be around 4-5 hrs . One can say that its all the countries under one roof. You get to see their specialities, their food, their architecture,the cloths and various other items. A must visit if you are in Dubai.

It is a must visit location in Dubai between Nov. to April every year. This place brings in loads of World Art and Culture to a single location for Family as well as for all levels of people. Its a good concept and the architecture of the countries is very nice from outside however when you walk inside each country the market places are mostly selling the exact same things in each country and dont have anything authentic and original from the home country that they are representing. There was a Turkish restaurant in the middle of the park that i would recommend eating at if you are visiting. Toilets were poorly situated and there wasnt enough of them considering the size of the park.

Great place to go there with friend and families, only 15 aed to get in, lots of parking spaces, bus service runs all the time from the other parking. Love the food and drinks option - the only downside some of the countrys feels unfinished, such as London, Paris... But also USA doesnt really feel like US. But overall really good experience, i would highly recommend.

This is the 2nd time for me and basically it is a market from different countries. Although it have to show the culture for each country but unfortunately it is only few shows to attract the attention of the visitor to visit the shopping area and most of those sales men are sharper or cheater. I will give one example here, I was in Africa and I bought carved wood with 30 D.H. and I was exploring the other shops in Africa and I saw the same piece that I bought and I stopped to look at it and the sale men came to me saying that "this is a very special piece and for you only it is with 80 D.H !!!" I said thanks and I didnt say any other words. However, the place is awesome when it comes to the design and the lighting is very pretty. Visit the place but be careful with the sale people :)

Its like a festival where you see people from various parts of the world. The entire fest is man made and is recreated differently every year. It starts at 4pm in the evening and goes till midnight. Certainly a best place if you like exhibitions.

Very nice concept. They have a pavallion for each country. Each pvallion has shops of local food items, local clothes and local specialities of each country. They have also build structures that showcase that country. I have travelled across the world and was mesmerized by this place on how closely they have tried to keep each pavallion. Must go place if visiting Dubai. There are aome shows also like circus ar the centre. Absolutely GLOBAL. While returning the cab fare was almost 1.5 times the fare you pay while going as there is no cut on higheay to return, you have to go quite aome distance in opposite direction before heading back.

Best to go during the week if you dont like to wait for service, weekends are very busy, but also to see the best shows you have to go on the weekend, although the shows during the week and very good too. Everyday is an adventure, global village is the most amazing place. Amazing food whether you want something small like a hotdog or something big like biryani, they have delicious dishes from all over the world, and the deserts are heavenly! There is never enough time to see and participate in everything global village has to offer, and they also do weekly prizes and competitions, this season has finished already but I cant wait for next season. There are always bargains to be had in the pavilions. No matter what you like, theres always something for everyone at global village. Just a shame it has to close in the summer

The global village is purely a work of art that resembles the entire world. Each country has its own culturally diverse shops and restaurants which was great. At night they have fireworks and concerts, though the only hassle was the parking which took about an hour to get into, traffic controllers would of have been a good idea.

The entire place is very Huge and if you want to do justice you should locate 1/2 Day to one day for this place. Its very big and very crowded. The car park is bigger than the village and the village is huge! Split into various country shopping areas, food stalls with food from around the world and an amusement Park. Was not impressed with the country areas as they seemed pretty similar and quite unauthentic. Im from UK and the UK stalls were selling Turkish tea! Surely it should be English tea! The food stalls and eating areas were nice but expensive. Amusement Park was also nice but expensive. There are live performances from various regions which were good. Overall good but couldve been much better.

If you cant go around the world, this place gives a great feel for products, places, and food that you cant get except in those countries. Try some Turkish ice cream, Canadian poutin, Indian curry, Iranian meats, fresh fruits from Thailand...the list goes on. And shop the wonderful markets, featuring clothing, shoes, jewelry, honey, nuts, candy, soaps. You name it; its probably there. Check this out. Take bus 103; cheaper than a taxi.

Its one of the biggest outdoor seasonal attractions thats open during the winter months (usually from November - April). And has various stalls that represent different countries from around the world. Theyve revamped this years exhibits and made it way better (and larger) than last year, and on the whole, its the best place if you want to buy unique, ethnic and inexpensive items from a certain country. Also, there are various games and rides, as well as regular cultural events held here. One small bit of advice...be ready to face the huge crowds after 6PM.

I was practically chased out of african pavilion as i was with a wheel chaired guy and aparantly the wheel chair blocked their products from being viewed. It was my only bad experience in the entire place. Other than that i loved the place. You get to see so many cultural and artistic things.

The Global Village, is simply as the name states, a place where you get to visit many countries in one day : ) with just a single ticket ; ) Its one of the major attractions in dubai, which they are a a lot, I would say its a must visit for any tourist or resident in UAE. The place has lovey environment with many different live activities going on from time to time throughout the day. The area is beautifully designed and built with colorful lights and neat finishing of the buildings that you will see in the Global Village, which they imitate the real buildings and architecture of each country or region of the world, for example you get to see there the Eiffel tower of Paris or the Big Ben clock from London, the pyramids of Egypt or the Pisa tower of Italy... !! And many more... Unfortunately its not opened the whole year, since its an outdoor open area so its pretty much dependent on the weather which is the best in Dubai from Nov to April of each year. All in all its a highly recommended place to have fun and spend a memorable time there : )

Great seasonal attraction. There was actually a lot more than I expected. Its filled with a section full of fun rides for all ages and braveness levels. All the different locations there are interesting - you can explore cultures, popular food, clothing and items too. There were even camels and falcons in the UAE section. All of this (carnival rides cost extra) at the cheap price of 15AED. For cheapest carnival rides, go at 4-6pm when the prices are halved saving you A LOT of money. Heavily recommend even for families to visit. Food choice was also not bad with decent restaurants and foods from all over the world.

A bit of a mixed bag. Global Village is huge. As you walk around the main path, you will see highly decorated facades of various countries around the world including Turkey, China, Thailand, India etc. The inside of each facade contains market stalls of shops that sell items local to that country. As we walked around, we noticed a number of things: - A lot the stalls from different countries sell the same, or very similar things. The most common being clothes, materials and perfume - Some of the countries have nothing inside them as half the stalls are closed. Italy being one of them There is a large permanent funfair here too however we didnt visit it. A lot of the sellers will try and get you to try their foods with the intention of buying things. We didnt purchase much, but the Thailand area was our favourite. There are no easy transport links here though so you have a choice of 3 options. Drive, taxi or bus. There are plenty of taxis available at global village to take you home,and to get from Dubai Mall to Global Village cost around 40 - 50 AED

True to its name the global village captures the essence of all the countries of the world under one roof. There are live on-stage programs which you can sit back and watch the entire day. After reading many reviews that its a low-price shopping place was really disappointed to find that the things that you find are quite expensive and of very cheap quality. Mostly electronics,middle-eastern dresses,jewellery shops etc are found.Except handful pavilions all the other pavilions offers the same type of things. Its a well decorated village and it will take an entire day to visit everything. The best stall in my view is the yemen pavilion , you get authentic honeys and turkey pavilion where you can buy some turkish delight or dry fruits. There are many good food stalls available , we ate in the indian food stall ,the food was quite okay type. Really enjoyed the visit to Global Village.

Global Village is only accessible during the winter like Miracle Garden, and like the later one, they change things up every year so that wouldnt feel youve been there already. This year, 2015-2016, theyve added an easily accessible Emirati village where the attractions are free. The whole family here and thoroughly enjoyed everything. If you are not used to walking, then you wont be able to see all the places from the all of the stall for each participant country. I suggest you start in the morning to be able to cover everything.

People can buy souvenirs of each country, hear music, have lovely food, taste part in the rides and contest and enjoy the fireworks. It is open from November to April every year till past mid night. You can take a tour of over 20 to 30 countries, it is open well past midnight. The entry fee is reasonable. You have to be careful not to go on friday as parking will be difficult. It is a very clean place for a place that is very crowded

Visited on a cool evening after a day of rain across Dubai. Very inviting and easy to access and make your way around the park. Great to see them pay homage to multiple different countries. We stayed for dinner and had Malaysian, great value for money and friendly staff. Game were reasonably priced and the ferris wheel gives a great view of the whole park and city skyline. Will visit again soon to try more cuisines.

There are houses / pavilions for a range of countries selling items that originate from / are largely available in that country: particular food, and particular styles of clothes e.g. dates & honey and abayas & kanduras from KSA, Indian jewellery and clothing from India etc. There are a range of places to eat including Pizza Hut, KFC, Reem Al Bawadi and Al Hajj Bundoo Khan, and you also have many tea and treat stalls dotted about. If you dont have a car DO NOT go there. No one in the village accepts cards for payment. You cant buy ticket with card. Must have cash or wait an hour on queue for ATM. Buses are crowded. And no nol card cashier to recharge. Horrible experience I had with RTA bus. I went with my girlfriend and we recharged our nol cards online. The bus wasnt able to read her card so the driver used my card to check me in the bus and he told my girlfriend to go and buy card. So stupid driver like I am not even standing there. I took a taxi just to not let such a stupid driver to drive me home.

На один раз. Большая территория, много павильонов, безделушки вроде как дешевле чем в городе. Но ничего особенного. Билет с автостанции Аль Губейба в оба конца 24 дирх. На входе дрескод (жен прикрытые ноги, голова не обязательно) Кто не взял с собой на входе продают штаны и платки по 25дирх. Открывается в 16:00. Улыбнуло, когда в павильоне США увидел фляжки с надписью СССР) Много дают пробовать сыра разного вида в лаваше, сладости и т.д. если голодны и не хотите тратиться - вариант перекусить)

جدا جميله.. لكن ينقصها اشياء كثيره وسعر البضائع جداااااااااااا غالي على السياح .. انا دخلتها وطلعت مااشتريت شي لانه جدا غالي مقارنه بجودتها.. واتمني لوكل دوله ادخل فيها.. اجد معلومات لوقرٱئه ولوحه عن هذه الدوله وتاريخها زي طريقه دوله تركيا كنت ادخل المساجد التاريخيه وبعض الاماكن واقرا وتعلمت تاريخهم وحكمائهم ومعلومات جدا جميله .. ولونجد ايضا في كل دوله مٱكولات تمثل بلدهم.. ولونجد في كل دوله عرض وبزيئ البلد نفسه حتى تمثل نفس البلد.. احتاج ادخل الدوله واستفيد من معلومات او عروض او طريقة تقديم بلدهم بالاستقبال.. مثلا بلد المغرب لو يكون نساء يلبسون اللبس المغربي ويعرضون لناس طريقه استقبال وعادات بلدهم وطبخهم وهكذا..
