Dubai “Atlantis The Palm Resort” Atlantis, The Palm is a luxury hotel resort located at the apex of the Palm Jumeirah in the United Arab Emirates. Imperial club is worth the extra money. Believe me. Excellent facilities, restaurants and staff and the water park is amazing with some heart stopping slides. For all ages. The kids and absolutely loved it. The rooms were very spacious, offering beautiful views. The resort was very clean and paid great attention to detail. We made the most of the Club Atlantis facilities and would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. 5 stars.

We had an amazing seven night stay (Imperial club). The service was exceptional, loved the view and the room ( ask for the pool view - much better ) breakfast was breathtaking with many choices loved the Lebanese breakfast with the cheese and Zatar hot bread, the water park was big and heaps of fun, the lost chamber aquarium a must do. The club lounge was absolutely amazing with different foods every day and the variety of drinks & coffee. The room service really surprised us as the room was made up 2 to 3 times a day, water topped up and towels changed. This is a big place with a lot of people, they do lack the personal touch due to the size, but they do go out of their way to make surety enjoy your stay. Highly recommended with imperial club access.

Fantastic Hotel with great facilities and views. You get access to the water park free which is £75.00 each per person for 1 day. The rooms are spacious and the food is absolutely delicious. The service is second to none. Yes it is a little bit more expensive than the rest but you get so much value for your money. The kids will have a fantastic time.

Dubai didnt invent the bigger-is-better approach, but it has lifted it to a whole new level. So dont be surprised to learn that The Palm is an artificial archipelago shaped like a palm tree beneath a crescent. Apart from high-end hotels and residences, theres not a whole lot here to see or do, but if youre staying at Atlantis The Palm, that doesnt matter. Covering 46 hectares, this underwater-themed fantasy resort has more than enough attractions to keep a family entertained for a week

The hotel and staff are definitely 5 star! Room amenities were good but wasnt very child friendly. I was a bit disappointed that big parts of the aquaventure park were closed due to "improvements". But the parts that were open was a lot of fun. Overall a great experience.

Doesnt really live up to its branding. Only visited for a drink and dinner so cannot comment on the hotel, but it feels quite commercial and a bit tired. The aquarium wall is a definite highlight but the visitor section is very poorly laid out, with security guards continually questioning your purpose and whether youre a guest before letting you into other areas. Doesnt make for a great experience. Definitely better quality experiences in Dubai, both dining and visiting.

One of the best resort to visit, great aqua venture park included for in house guest, decent beach, excellent pool and facilities. Spacious rooms, Club catering is sufficient, but rather ordinary. Resort is very busy, consider to stay if you do not want to be close to downtown.

5 Star hotel and resort. Lots to do for the children - Lost Chambers is excellent but not worth the money of a one off trip. Knowledgeable staff who are happy to talk to the children about the animals. Aquaventure is great and suitable for all ages. Rides are accessible via the rapids and the torrents and are easy to navigate. Prices for food and drink are reasonable for Dubai. Royal Pool is bliss with lots of seating and beautiful surroundings. Good deals to be had for resident stays during the summer and Ramadan.

Bad points is that there is too many people and not enough staff. Around the pool the wait to get drinks etc is far too long. The prices are absolutely sky high. I really have never stayed anywhere that was so expensive. I wouldnt go back.

My family and I only attended the water park but there was a mishap that happened with my locker in the womens locker room. My locker didnt shut all the way and therefore was reassigned to a different guest at the resort. I understand that this was no ones fault especially the staffs but I was disappointed with the lack help and assistance that was needed in finding my personal belongings. I was visiting from out of the country and with my purse being stolen I was very unsettled. Instead of helping find my belongings the staff treated me as if I was overreacting and kept trying to explain what happened with the locker, which I didnt care about at all. I cared about finding my ID and the rest of my belongings. It took them forever to get security they wouldnt let me use a phone to call my cell phone so I could try and track who had my things. Thankfully someone did let me use their personal phone. Instead of trying to diffuse the situation and find where my belongings were the security added fuel to the fire by blaming me for my items being taken and were of no assistance. Overall it was a terrible situation that I felt could have been handled in a professional manner by the security and the staff who had been working. Especially with my family spending money on this establishment and receiving no assistance which led to me finding my personal items all by myself.

This is indeed the greatest experience so far, my entire life! like, ive never tried extreme slides my whole life yet i got the chance to explore Atlantis, The Palm! Came along with my fiance and his family who recently had there vacation in Dubai, we got a little help from our friends to get us an admission ticket for a cheaper price. We got the chance to enjoy a discounted food, with free drinks. There are some slides that wasnt available at that time due to maintenance but we tried the rest especially the "Leap of Faith"! fascinating experience! Dont you ever dare to miss that! thats the most extreme thing i did for myself! Ill probably come back with same company added with some other friends!

What an awesome, exciting experience we had at Atlantis Adventure Water Park, the Palm, Dubai. There were so many fun exciting things to do, from Zip lining to learning about the awesome sea life. It was a really refreshing experience with thrilling water events which got our adrenalin pumping! The restaurants are exotic , such as the famous Gordon Ramsays Bread Street, Kitchen and Bar and the amazing Lost Chambers Aquarium. The beach is so clean and the family can have a great time in the fresh air, playing soccer and beach volleyball on the beautiful beach. It was so relaxing and the sunsets were amazing and breath taking. I highly recommend the Atlantis Palm as one of the best places to enjoy with family and friends.

My experience staying here was overwhelming, the checking too a lot of time due to the rush. It was crowded in the lobby and valet. Rooms a mare beautiful, if you ever wanna stay here get the palm beach view room, the view is splendid. Atlantis also gave me complementary passes to the water park & lost chambers.

I visited this place in February. The water was a bit cold. Entrancy is quite expensive. In the whole park, you pay a fortune for everything. 40 pounds for decent lunch, up to 10 pounds for drink. The majority of staff comes outside of Dubai and their English is quite poor, so be patient while asking for help. I tried some slides and the experience was not so good. You can see ads on this park all over the Dubai, but the reality is worse then images on those ads. Summary - I can say, I have been to one of the best water park in the world, but will not come back.

Stayed here with my husband and 16yearold. Rooms are good but the decor needs updating. Our room faced the city and had great views. Half board was good and we ate at both main restaurant. There is only 1 main pool for families. Its huge. Aquaventure water park is free for guests. Crowded but good for families. Negatives- public areas are really crowded and it feels claustrophobic at times. The restaurants are very crowded. Staff seem very impersonal and it feels like they want to get rid of you fast. I personally would not return to this hotel.

Stayed here as part of our honeymoon and was upgraded to a room with great view and balcony. Where to begin... Rooms are beautiful and with everything youd expect for the price. Reception and aquarium are probably the best in terms of grandeur I have ever seen in a hotel. Staff are brilliant, the food in restaurants is incredible with an endless variety of options. Pool and beach are very relaxed with plenty of space...and a real stand out for me was the waterpark. I have never felt so much like a big kid in years. A fantastic part of the hotel to just go and have fun with loved ones for a few hours and then relax by the pool. Obviously all this comes with a price tag and I would honestly say that it is value for money.

This Aquarium (as many others) is sourcing its animals from the ocean, these are wild animals that have been captured to be exhibited in this zoo. These wild animals are supposed to be in the ocean, since they most of them migrate thousands of miles and where theyre free. Theyre not supposed to kept in a small tank for entertainment and profit. Even though this Aquarium say that their animals are ethically sourced, theres simply no way for them to know this, due to the long chain of suppliers. If you want to support animal cruelty, and think its ok to capture wild animals under dreadful circumstances, transport them around the world, still under dreadful circumstances, and exhibit them: Go ahead, visit this place. If you think not; do not visit this place. There are plenty of other excellent malls and hotels around.

Room - **** Services - ***** Value for money - *** Choice of food and restaurants - **** Location - *** Room was ok just like any other average hotel room with one difference is nice view towards the sea and a very small balcony which can be used to dry clothes. Service was as usual you get in Dubai. Best things are the aquarium and wster park which is part of the hotel. Water park was bit far and you will need a buggy ride to get there. There were a few good places to eat within the hotel but still youre limited unlike the other hotels where I stayed in the head variety of restaurants to choose from and to eat in. Food can be costly in Dubai so its probably worth while going for half board. With a half board you get the breakfast and dinner thats it. The other hotel I stayed in allowed me to have breakfast and dinner and if I want I can use the dinner voucher for lunch and have dinner somewhere else. The child care facility is not free which was disappointing. Worst part was the beach. It looks nice from far but close-up is another story. Lets just say its painful to walk on the edge of the water. Its nothing like Jumeirah Beach where we stayed few days ago. The beach at the Atlantis hotel was bit murky and full of broken shells and stones which can hurt your feet as you walk by the edge of the water. If you stay at the Atlantis hotel you are restricted as you are within the island and makes it difficult to get to the mainland and costly at the same time but they do have shuttle services at certain time if you do want to go to the Mall of Emirates which is the closest shopping centre. Having said some negative things about the hotel I dont think I would stay there again unless its worth the price. What could convince me to go there again if the price was right and the beach was comfortable to walk on.

Not to be ignored. A memory forever lodged! Everything about this place has captured our hearts. The water park thrills were invigorating. The Aqua Experiences were exillerating. The meals and packages beyond happy with! There are a few outstanding service providers to be mentioned, as their ability to go that extra mile was a pleasant experience which made us feel both important and special. On the 12th floor Imperial Club Lounge was the manager, Ifthikar, who after the 2nd night remembered our room number and escorted us to a special table. Then there is Upulitha, the extremely highly passionate and dedicated, ever so friendly waiter. We loved him! The cleaner who would turn our bath towels into a work of art and the waiter from The Sea Fire Restaurants, Rohit, with his charismatic, outgoing, yet genuinely natural personality. I cannot say enough about this place! It was a dream come true.

I arrived in the UAE on Wednesday evening from the UK. My husband booked a weekend at the hotel partly to celebrate his birthday and partly so we could have a romantic break, something we do whenever I visit. We arrived on Thursday afternoon after a 2.5 hour drive from Abu Dhabi, we were excited and ready to relax and enjoy and well deserved break. My husband had his residents card but because mine had expired and I didnt have my passport on me they wouldnt check me in or allow me to stay. I offered my old residents card, which, although out of date had my picture and name on it and my valid bank card which, again, had my name but theses weret acceptable. We explained that nowhere on the confirmation letter did it state that ALL members of the party must have ID, it simply stated "YOU should present proof of identification such as passport or UAE ID upon checkin for identification purposes". This is at best ambiguous as letter wasnt addressed to Mr and Mrs just to my husband so it is fair to assume that only he needed ID. The staff were not helpful at all and completely intransigent. They would not listen to reason. My husband offered to drive back to Abu Dhabi and get my passport but that would mean a round trip of 5 hours always assuming the roads were quiet which is never the case, and us missing our dinner reservation so we had no option but to leave. We felt utterly bewildered and I personally upset at being treated so poorly and disrespectfully by the staff. We have stayed in several hotels in Dubai in the past and NEVER have I had to show proof of who I am. NEVER have we been treated so shoddily and NEVER have I been made to feel so embarrassed. We love Dubai and this will not put us off continuing our goal to visit all the luxury hotels in the city but I feel Atlantis the Palm is a hotel than has a long way to go to meet the calibre and friendliness of hotels we have visited in the past.

Vibrant, Busy, Great Family Visit I recently stayed in Dubai for 3 weeks and stayed for one night at the Atlantis, all of my family were staying there so we booked in too, in total 19 of us, I stayed on the 17th Floor in a one bedroom terrace suite overlooking the Palm and Dubai, was a fantastic room very spacious, superb bathroom with a bath looking over the palm. I have stayed at the Atlantis 3 times before this being my 4th the hotel still attracts lots of visitors and is very busy but the staff are very helpful especially Krishna, he was great upon check in, we arrived a little early so had to wait for the room, which was no issues as we had family there already and we had 8 rooms to choose from. Security is very tight and we were constantly stopped asking to show our Atlantis cards, so I just wore it round my neck it was easier, its good to have the security especially with all the issues at the moment. The decor in the hotel is amazing, I wouldnt say its a relaxing hotel, plenty of children then again it is the Atlantis. we enjoyed the water park which i must say is the best in Dubai i do like Wild Wadi but with the extra rides now I think the Atlantis tops it and I prefer it to Yas Waterworld too. My family dined in the Kaleidoscope the night before and they said it was superb and wanted me to mention one of the team at kaleidoscope Mr Mohammed Safat they said he was very helpful and his service and approach was very personal, even for a buffet restaurants thank you Mr Safat. If you havent visited the Atlantis its definitely worth a visit great grounds great pool fantastic spa we loved it

Bottle of water will cost you 13 DHS while it is in the supermarket it is 1-3 DHS. Its impossible to survive in summer with only one bottle. Its ok to raise the food or drinks price but water ??? I had good time because I spent it with the kids but not going there again unless they change there policy

If we would know that you only can buy it their, we would bought it at the airport. But the promotion team said, that we can redeem our boarding passes in a discount at the cashier at the Atlanis. But here no one knows about it. Strange. Very poor service here. They offer us instead he online price, that we can get ourself booking via our smartphone.

Booked the Imperial Club upgrade. Went for a beer at Nasimi Beach and was told it was not included (I was told it was). There are 4 tables at Nasimi Beach available at happy hour for the Imperial Club upgrades and they are all always taken (logically). So the people there told us to go to the main seating area. We went, ordered food and drinks and were charged for them. The Imperial Club Upgrade is very expensive but its dedicated lounges are overcrowded at all times and the happy hour at associated restaurants is a flat out lie.

ATLANTIS WATER PARK - AQUA-VENTURE We went on Sunday in April 2017 and the place was really busy. The queues in the entrance were horrendous and very hectic, I asked a member of staff which queue I needed to go in as I had booked in advance and she asked me to get in the normal queue. We had a lovely time but the rides were very busy and the queues very long, in some rides we waited over an hour or longer. Spend extra and buy the EXPRESS ticket!

This is a great resort for families. Plenty to do, fantastic staff and a service level that rates as excellent. The rooms are spacious, have high ceilings and are well equipped. The Imperial Club access is worth it with snacks and drinks keeping the kids well fed. The water park is great fun. Thongs-jandals a definite requirement as the concrete heats up. The Lazy River is an easy and fun way to navigate your way around though Id advise getting to know the map first. We didnt and did a couple of laps looking for our clothes! The slides are fun. Definitely do the leap of faith.... With your mouth closed the whole way! The only downside was the number of people crammed into the water park, pool and restaurant. Speaking of which, the buffet is awesome. Lots to choose from. If you have kids youll want to set expectations before you go in as there is a lolly and chocolate fountain.....yes, at breakfast :) The best for last. My 12 year old son and I did the SCUBA diving in the large "fishtank". Wow. Best experience of his life apparently. The staff were awesome, training good (I am certified but my son not) and we had a guide each for the 30 minute dive. Amazing to be on the other side of the glass looking back at the people looking and waving.... But best of all to be amongst so many fish, sharks and rays. They are beautiful. The tank is huge too. Like really huge. Do be aware this is expensive but I think worth it. Photos are prohibitively expensive extras that we avoided by taking down a camera with us and my wife taking photos through the glass.

I have heard a lot about this hotel prior to booking it for my fourth anniversary, and it was all extremely good. The staff were quite friendly and polite whether it was opening lifts or bringing our car to the front of the hotel. The disappointing bit is that we were there for five nights, and there was also a company called VITAL staying at the hotel at the same time. This company had about 1000 guests staying and I discovered this information by speaking to one of them. The aqua water park was supposed to be part of our hotel package and allowed to go as many times as we pleased. Unfortunately, because of the company VITAL the water park was closed on two occasions purely for their use. As we were not there for long we had already planned our holiday, not being previously told about the water parks closing hours due to VITAL. A member of staff merely apologized and said there was nothing they could do about it as they were very important guests. And we were not ... because? Also there was a restaurant called Nasimi beach which I was really looking forward to. Again, it was closed on 2 nights because of VITAL. I think this was extremely unfair and if certain things were not accessible to the paying hotel guests then this should be mentioned at the time of booking so we know what to expect. The hotel overall was a great place, but I think taking a booking for a large number of people should definitely not affect the other holiday makers.

We stayed at Atlantis many years ago at the Bahamas. Unfortunately here in Dubai things are a bit different or to get higher profitability they changed rules. Everywhere there are a lot of people. Extremely over crowded!!! We have to wait in queue just to be seated for breakfast. The food selection is broad and the dishes are tasty but to get anything is a war. We had excess to the exclusive lounges as an alternative but the selection there is rather poor and during happy hours far too few tables -so many times not being desperate enough we just gave up. Sadly it is included in the price which in Dubai is generally very high. Not a real tourist paradise for Europeans. You can not find the real value for money feeling as you might do in Asia. Irritatingly locals at the Malls are not willing to queue in line at the restrooms, rather ignore all others and aggressively just goes ahead. It is definitely worth to have an experience about the Atlantis but too overpriced and not so well managed. One thing is for sure, we will never come back again.

We just stayed 4 nights at Atlantis Palm, there was 2 families. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels and our expectation may be high. It didn’t help that we had just come from the Armani Hotel in Milan who service was amazing. We booked this hotel as it seems amazing, what a disappointment. We booked one 2-bedroom executive club suite and one 1-bedroom executive club suite. The suite included transfers from airport to hotel, at the airport they only had 2 cars to take us to the hotel, 9 people and lots of luggage was don’t going to fit in standard cars. My son and I took a taxi to the hotel separately to the rest of the family. We regrouped at the hotel and went to check-in. It was late at night and just wanted to get to bed, the suite had a special express check-in area, nothing express about this as it took about 40min to check-in, really at 12.30am in the morning, rooms should have been ready from 2.00pm. The suite had lots of room but smelled of moisture. The breakfast was uneatable in the morning and it was like being in a market, people everywhere, people jumping queue and you had to line up to get in. The pool water was way too cold for the children. Staff very cold, uninviting when asked question of staff got different answer. Basically, the facility of 5 start but acting more like a 3 star. Would never go back at the prices we paid, much better option if you want thing just done for you as 5 star should be.

Here for a week with a 5 month old baby (and my wife to be!). We have had a perfect family holiday. Food is amazing and plentiful, staff all very courteous and room is kept immaculate. We upgraded to regal suite and its massive with great views of the palm. Full size baby cot was provided by hotel. A lot to do in the hotel which is perfectly air conditioned throughout and great for small children. As baby with us did not venture to water park, but pool big and quiet with plenty of shade and not too hot (in January). Aquarium in the hotel is awe inspiring and free for hotel guests (as is watwrpark). Will definitely return, is definatly worth going half board if planning to eat in hotel as the evening food is pricey and buffet (that word doesnt do it justice) breakfasts amazing. Drinks are pricey (over £10 for a pint) but its not that sort of holiday where beers are free flowing, and tbh keeps rowdiness down, so fine by me.

Incredible aquarium inside the hotel, unlike anything I had ever seen. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a great variety. Ranging from European to Asian. Rooms were big, with nice view and big and luxurious bathroom. Plus you get free entrance to the water park which is super nice as well. In sum, I think you get value for your money, especially given the location.

Disgusted. Poor customer service, treated like criminals, everytime we walked through the hotel we were asked by security to prove we were staying here. I understand security is important but there is also a way of treating your guests. It is a highly prejudiced place where you are made to feel out of place if you arent of a certain colour or status. Check in : 18-20 October It was our last journey before going home from our honeymoon vacation. +The reception is very friendly and they have alot of staff available. +The room we picked was on the 16th floor with sea view (room number 16407), very clean, - the only complaint we can give is the neighbors voices when they argue, yea we can hear the neighbors from the door that connects two rooms. +The location is perfect for people who wants a relaxing and some water activities. Also not that far from GBR beach around 20-30 AED by Taxi. And around 60-70 AED to dubai mall. +The food is delicious here in the hotel. They have a very big selection of cuisines. +We ordered an in-room dining, a tom yum soup, a burger and pasta white sauce. -Delicious yes, but pay around 300+ for two at least.... Very expensive. For me it was an experience, maybe Ill come back again...

I had visit the hotel on the weekend, first things i notes is 1- No welcoming 2- No any assistant in the lobby standing more than 20 min. 3- low class of security ( we was almost 10 people in the room without asking any idea that only to show the card of the room it can be old witch enough to pass security ). 4- Giving wrong information 5- One Egyptian guy doesn’t speak English well at reception low quality of service. 6- When you are getting to valet no one giving you attention and the staff are chatting to each other. 7-takes more than 15 min to delivered from housekeeping for the room.

We are regular visitors to Dubai and usually stay at the Dar al Masyaf. However my 13 year old son asked us to try out this resort for a change as their would be more for him to do. I am gutted. What a place. We upgraded to the imperial club which was the only part of the holiday I can honestly say was worthwhile although my bed was a tiny double compared to the super king I get elsewhere. The staff on the whole are rude. One or two usually security have good manners. The prices are ridiculous and overpriced. 170 d for one glass of champagne that is not even a brand name. The restaurants you have to pay supplements on and if you choose something different like mash not chips you pay. I dont think I have ever experienced anything quite like it. And it is a tourist mecca as people flock to see it. Why I dont know. If like me you want a nice play to stay, good food and drink that is value for money and service with a smile. Dont come here

We explained why we had made the trip from the walk but the staff were very rude and just dismissed all requests. Would not recommend it at all. Certainly will not be booking to stay when we return to Dubai. Waste of time and money even going to look.

Did not stay in hotel as check in at 3pm and check out at 11am.....we went for water park.....and Lost chabers...it is interesting to watch many kinds of sea creatures in lost chambers..but...it was very hot outside in water park....I have been to many water parks in USA Europe and asia and this park is no match to many of these. Atlantis is Just an average water park. There are not enough sheds to take shelter from Sun. Taking your own drinks not allowed inside park..not even water. Everything inside including water is highly overpriced. There is no sitting places once you are inside the hotel around l saw many people just sitting on flooring and staircases to take rest or waiting.

The rooms were nice and clean, with an incredible view from up high back across the Palm Jumeriah towards Dubai, despite being dusty as the Middle East always is. The decor was kept well to the theme, even if it felt a little bit gaudy at times in the rooms, it always kept its grandeur in the grand scheme of it all. The facilities were amazing, especially given the relatively isolated location. Being next to the water park was fantastic, the multiple pools and beaches were great. Staff were always more than willing to help and were always friendly, making this the one hotel I have never left during the holiday.

When we went to Atlantis hotel to check in to the rooms they take too long to check in and they treat Indians as slaves and foreigners as main people because they give dollars and in the room cleaning is nill and minimum basic needs are not provided like tooth paste & tooth brush and to checkout we had asked a room boy to take laguage we waited he didnt come to take laguage we waited for 30min still he didnt come we only took laguage downstairs to the lobby In stead of giving rent to the room best is to give some money and enjoy in Atlantis waterpark and many more because the check in starts from 03:00 pm and they make us to wait too long at reciption and they dont give any instructions & @ 3:45 pm we will go to room and have some cofee or snacks and it will be about 4 O clock and we cant enjoy any thing in evening & morning at 11:00 am they call for us to check out totaly the time Is over My best suggestion is halt at different hotel and morning to enter Atlantis and purchase entry tkt & enjoy up to evening & go back to your hotel To my experience staying in Atlantis hotel is totally waste of money

the hotel was amazing. it keeps its under the sea theme in every room you stumble into. the people who work there are always smiling and friendly. the food quality is 5 star. room cleaning is awesome. atlantis the palm is soo perfect my family made a game out of trying to find what was wrong with the place (not an easy game). i recommend getting a room there because then you get into the magnificent water park free and 2 meals a day for free plus many discounts and the convenience of charging anything you buy on the whole island to your room. the lost chambers aquarium is something everyone has to see. it is the most awe-ing aquarium i will probably ever see. every tank has carefully thought out lighting and fish cordinating with the ornaments. and the massive tank where scuba diving lessons are held is just wow! the one and only negative thing about atlantis at the water park is that the ground is brutally hot and gives you the most horrible burns on your feet, what the resort could do to prevent that is to give out complimentary slippers for the water park or have someone hose the ground occasionally. that is my only complaint. atlantis is the best hotel i have ever stayed in and i will absolutely revisit. I LOVE YOU ATLANTIS THE PALM!!!

I had booked this hotel for 14 nights from the 21st of July 2015 to 4th of August 2015. I have loved every second of this holiday until now. We normally stay at Burj al arab or the Jumeirah chain of hotels. Jumeirah Beach hotel is a family orientated hotel in my opinion but its a bit old now. Weve stayed at the kempinsky in the mall of the Emirates. So Im well accustomed to 5 star luxury hotels in dubai anyway. Everything has been perfect at atlantis until now. So here goes on the 1st of August 2015 is my 10th anniversary. We woke up as usual to find cockroaches crawling over us. Now these cockroaches are the infestation types and not the American flying type. So they lay eggs all over your stuff. So when we go back with our luggage to London UK, we have no idea what were in store for. Im annoyed to say the least at this so called 5 star resort. My anniversary has been ruined. Im staying in a twin Queen room overlooking the royal pool with palm views. Room number 15416. Its on the imperial club floor on the east tower on the klaidoscope restaurant side. I complained and all they offered is moving my familys stuff, clothes etc from one floor to another and what about the inconvenience? Im on holiday and I feel Ive paid good money to be here on our annual holiday. Im so cheesed off to say the least. Were having to pack all our belongings to move to the other tower into a similar room. My kids have a phobia of insects and they dont want to stay here. Anyway, here I am on my anniversary packing my stuff with my poor old wife to take my belongings to another tower. Im appalled. Somehow I just dont believe theyre doing enough. Out of frustration as it seems the atlantis staff have no idea what to say or do. They say this is a one off but Ive found other reviews and a YouTube video showing cockroaches. You know its sad really. My family and i thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We thought wed be back for sure before all this happened. Now were not so sure. The only other grumble I had was the sand at the beach is not as refined and smooth as JBH. There are sharp shells in the sand. Not very 5 star resort like. The pancakes are not the fluffy American style we are used too in the other resorts. Just flat soggy from the packet style pancakes. Shark Bites and shwafel are awful restaurants avoid at all costs. Saffron and Nasimi beach are wonderful. The rest are what you would expect from a 5 star resort If like us, you have a phobia of creepy crawlies avoid. I will update of any kind / action taken by hotel. Any info would be appreciated. I dont think Im being unreasonable to expect more from Atlantis. I will be uploading the video of cockroaches and photos. Lets hope pray that I dont find any cockroaches in the room theyre moving us too. I will be asking for a full refund then. I have been robbed of a full day of relaxing and enjoying with my family. This is not how I intended to spend my family holiday.

Wake up, good breakfast then chill by in the infinity pool and watch the huge city skyline behind the ocean... You will be in the pool as its a desert and the heat is blazing. Good pool side service bringing cocktails, ice cold beer or whatever. When it gets too hot for you its time to go into the lost chambers aquarium which is in the hotel, there is the biggest aquarium Ive ever seen in a hotel which is lush and brimming with exotic species of fish , sharks and divers. There is a diving school so you may as well jump in a golf buggy and go down into the other huge aquarium at the water park. They give you a sd card of the dive from a go pro they lend you to film it all which is nice. After the sunset which is hazy, theres a bbq bar to go to and eat some fresh fish and ribs, then have many beers. My 8 year old daughter loved this place. There are no Mosquitos or any other insects that I saw, just some cheeky tiny birds that flutter about the pool trying to keep cool. Its a city break with that beach holiday feel and I like that, different to other hot places Ive been. Dubai is very wealthy so expect to see some high end boutiques and shops in this area, was talking to some people who borrowed a car to go and buy gold further into the city but I wouldnt want to drive in this city the taxi man said if your involved in an accident with a local the authorities will side with the local every time.
