Barasti is an amazing place in the heart of Dubai marina. the food menu, drinks, and the hookah are not beatable. the sports screen, and the outside tent are amazing. I been to more than 78 countries, and Barasti still one of my favorite places i been to worldwide.

Adults only. Small beach area with a few sun umbrellas. Additionally there was no mention on any reviews (nor the main website) that children were allowed to eat there but NOT swim. After guzzling our waters (right in front of security) we were then told that no children were allowed on the beach. It wouldve more professional and respectful had security advised us of the restrictions before we waisted our water since we could have used them at the all access, also public, but child friendly beach down the block.

Went once and I can say for sure that it was my first and last time. The place is big other than that it has nothing special really but still, I could enjoy being there. But the thing that ruined it for me was the customer service. I had to deal with the worst bartender ever. He was rude impolite and had none of the qualities a front office person should have. I get that the clientele is more like young people who dont really care but he was very disrespectful and for that I wouldnt go back there.

Its a good spot but the staff are generally complete morons. We had been buying buckets of beer all day from noon till 5pm and got 50% discount and then randomly after 5 hours they decided at the downstairs bar we only get 50% discount on two beers. Not the whole bucket! So we had to trot upstairs to buy our buckets where the bar staff were a little more switched on!

This is a place to chill, unwind and relax with a glass of beer in your hand. The place is laid back and there is music playing in the background and there are large TV screens. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. The place is very big, having bars all around, so u can order your drink from any of them. The evening we went there was a radio station having some contest, so people were participating and songs were being played on request. As such no one is monitoring you, but I noticed that the waiters did keep tabs on all tables. There is not much variety to eat. The service depends on the crowd. You can just lie on the sofa and look at the stars and gaze at the neighboring tall buildings and just enjoy the moment. Weekends are crazy as it is crowded, so if you want to really enjoy the ambience of the place without any disturbance try going on a weekday. The bouncers at the entrance may be a bit intimidating but just be confident. Just let your hair down and don’t care. Barasti is one of the best places to be.

Great place to go visit when in Dubai. Unfortunately it was one of my worst experiences in Dubai all because of one bouncer. I was having a great night until i decided to go close to the water. I must have been about few feet away from the sea whereas there were other people even closer to the sea than me. One bouncer comes up to me and asks me to move away, and i respectfully do. Now i must have been about 10 meters behind, and my friends were behind me dancing to the awesome music. I was just staring at the sea, when this same bouncer comes charging at me asking me whether i was an Indian, when i answered yes he starts pushing me and he pushed me so hard it almost felt as if he broke my back. I was hurt and astonished, i asked for their supervisor, but they did do nothing. I am totally disappointed at the customer service and the amount of racism. No other place in Dubai made me feel like this.

a truly savage place, but if savagery is what youre looking for......the music on the main dance floor is good (very impressive sound system) but as there are two other open-air dance floors, being positioned anywhere between results in horrible cacophony. Very lively party atmosphere, but essentially a place to go get pssed up or pick up (or both, if you can manage). Must say, the service at the bar is very, very slow: given how much they must make and how cheap labour is, they should definitely recruit more bar staff

I want to put an official complaint with the management for the way I was treated at the entrance today...I came with two of my friends (girls) and even though the rule is couples only I was not allowed to enter...when I asked for a reason I was not told any reason and later on I was told that I look aggressive...I would like to receive an explanation as to how they determined a brown guy looks aggressive...I really liked this place up until now but this is the 2nd instance that has happened to me and I had planned to come to this place with friends as you can see for breakfast but I cancel all my plans...u as an entity should train your staff how to behave with people and how they should treat...I am not just writing this post and letting it go...I am going to the cops tomorrow morning and also am going to raise this concern of rudeness and being judgemental against some race to the media(I have friends there as well)...I really expected you guys to be professional but you disappoint me through your staff...#hatebarasti #barastisucks

Check out first if the beach section is opened. When we were there it was closed for a few weeks due to "technical problems"(?) So it wasnt a very interesting location I would take the effort to spend a taxi ride for again. On the terrace upstairs we had music from two different sources, making it very uncomfortable to sit. Inside heavy smoking but thats a general problem in Dubai.
