Staying in a close by hotel, we came across Eggspectation as we explored The Beach mall for breakfast. Perfect outdoor seating on the promenade/beachfront. Attentive staff but not overly attentive (a rare find). The iced coffee and fresh OJ was a welcome relief from the early morning heat! We split breakfast sharing the High Rise pancakes and the breakfast bagel. Both were fresh, tasty and well portioned. The rest of the menu looked amazing, would definitely be coming back to this place.

I came to dubai with friends for 10 days and we came here everyday for breakfast/lunch. They have a variety of healthy and wholesome options. They have a juice bar which makes freshly squeezed fruit juices. I tried the orange juice and the apple juice. When you arrive they provide you with a basket of freshly baked of tiger bread with a selection of strawberry/raspberry/apricot jam and honey. For breakfast I tried the Eggs Florentine, California Dreaming, Bravocado (all served with lyonnaise-style potatoes) and a Belgian waffle page’. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. One thing I loved about Eggspectations was that if there is an item in your dish which you do not like, you can pick and choose an alternative instead without them having an issue with this. The eggs were always cooked to perfection as requested. The lunch we had was also delicious, they serve sandwiches, pizzas, burgers and steaks and also have dessert options. It gets quite busy on Fridays and Saturdays so I would recommend making a reservation or arriving early. I would definitely come again!

First experience was excellent. Great service and delicious American breakfast. Went there a second time with friends, and I ordered the same as the first time, but this time it tasted bland, had less items on my plate, and left me feeling unsatisfied. Even my friends said the same thing. I took a photo of my first time and the food clearly didnt match what I ordered the second time. Less bacon, eggs, salmon, toast than the first. Also didnt taste as good. I feel there is an inconsistency which was very disappointing. Maybe different chefs? Not considering going there for a third time.

Montréalaise food in the house! Ce restaurant est fièrement québécois avec le vrai syrop derable du Canada! Since its opening, I had wanted to have breakfast at this location. For purposes of comparison, everything but the coffee was awesome as compared to the St Catherines branch in Montréal. In perspective: Eggs Benny with bacon (beef): The eggs did taste slightly funny - perhaps its how they taste in this part of the world. The bacon was done just right and the potatoes were awesome. Having said that, the coffee was just horrible. There was no cream or half&half and it felt like you were drinking tar. Since it was the weekend, the place was packed and for those of you who have qualms about paying 20AED for parking, worry not as the restaurant validates your parking token for upto 3 hours(how cool is that!) Do yourself a favor an skip IHOP this time. Eggspectation is the place to be.
