Do not rent the jet ski! They tried to scam us by saying we damaged the jet ski even though the jet ski in question wasnt the one we rented! The management disappeared with our Ids before he threaten us with the police if we didnt pay them 7000k! We ended up calling the police and the staff all disappeared by the time the police arrived. We had to report our now stolen ids to the police. Spoiled our holiday. I wonder how many more holidays have been spoilt by this scam.

Kayaking here is really magical. Get on the small islands facing the beach, through the mangroves. The scene is worth it.

Nice atmosphere and very well kept amenities. The waitstaff are very attentive and they will find ways to accommodate you. Very kid-friendly as they have their own play area. Lots of activities like jet skiing (150 dhs for 15 mins), etc. It would have been an easy 5 stars if the water was a lot more cleaner.

The only beach on Yas Island... It is a private beach. Admission tickets sold at the gate. Children under 12 go in for free. They have a swimming pool and some food outlets. You can rent jet skis, boats, kayaks and other water activities are available. The water is not very clear because of the beachs location at the mangroves.

We chose to stay in a hotel which advertised beach access, as we wanted to use our paddleboard (inflatable SUP) while on holiday. When we arrived we found out, the access was free entrance to Yas Beach. We turned up on the Thursday with our paddleboard, asked if it would be okay to use and was told it was ok. We found a spot away from others, but near the watersports area where jet skis, kayaks etc were. We spent a fabulous day using our board, swimming, eating and relaxing. The only thing that marred our day was when a jet skier seemed to be repeatedly trying to unbalance whomever was using the board. Whenever this happened - husband did fall in once - just sat down, stayed still waiting for the jet skier to get bored. He was quite persistent, but I assumed his time was up and he returned his hired jet ski. We returned to Yas beach on the Saturday morning. A quite beefed up security guard stopped us at the gate and told us we couldnt bring that in - he indicated at our sup in its carry bag. He said we couldnt bring a kayak in. We told him it wasnt a kayak it was a paddleboard. No, still cant come in. We told him wed been on the Thurs and there was no problem. He told us he remembered, but its against the rules. So we asked to see the rules, which he failed to produce. Then he mentioned the insurance wouldnt allow it. We asked if we could see the rules, so he called the manager Sebastion. Sebastion duly turned up, he chatted to the beefy security guard for a bit them came over to us - we were stood at the gate still. He told us as Yas is a private facility they can have any rules they want, there wasnt a list of rules as such, its their facility, they make the decisions. He told us we couldnt use the kayak as we landed on the island opposite and its not allowed. We told him, firstly, its a paddleboard and no we didnt land on the island, the people that had hired the kayaks did, but we didnt land on the island. He then told us as we were launching from their beach, wed be in violation of their insurance. Our response was, its a paddleboard. He then questioned the quality of the SUP and asked to see it. Its a Red Paddle board, arguably the best one you can buy. He still wasnt happy and said we could come in, but minus the board. They didnt want to upset the jet ski concession people who they employed to rent said water equipment to the guests on the beach. We left, with our board. We are left wondering a few things. Were we only allowed on when the beach was quiet, the rules allowed us then? Were they not wanting to cause a scene by asking us to put the board down on Thursday? Are we not their target guest as were the wrong side of 40 and the wrong side of 80 kilos? Just who was that jet skier? Surely, HE was breaking safety rules by continuingly buzzing too close to slower water users? Would the insurance have covered him? Why didnt the management speak to him about his dangerous behaviour?? He was PROBABLY just one of a number of idiots who get their highs by endangering others when they use their fast car, jet ski or any other manly accessory. Overcompensating much? In summary, the rules change to whatever they want at any time. The management are more than happy to keep potential guests waiting outside in front of other guests and debate with them. Its their facility, its popular and they have no incentive to change anything. In a world where reviews are common place, thats a pretty arrogant way to do business. No, we wont be back, with our paddleboard or money.

It is a beautiful beach with changing rooms, shows, pools(also for children), bars...everything you need on a beach. In summer it closes soon after sunset(although we were told we can stay until 8pm, we were asked to leave by the staff at 6:30pm) The places you can swim is also a little bit narrow.

Do Not Recommend. Beach sand is having stones, it hurts, can’t enjoy. Water quality is also not good. Can’t understand why this beach is developed when sand and water is not good. Swimming pool water quality is also not very good. Service is also not good. Requested towel for kid at swimming pool(as we have left our towel at the beach bench near entrance). Was not available, service boy agreed to bring from entrance at AED 5, gave him AED 10 never returned back. Finally grabbed from another service boy.

The beach itself is nice.The overpriced food and drinks on the other hand should be avoided, as the quality is really as bad as it can get. The entrance fee is high since they serve alcohol, and thats a shame because what they serve is bad. If you only want to enjoy the sand and sea, you can definitely find a nicer view and lower price elsewhere in Abu Dhabi.

Хороший пляж. Для нас был бесплатный вход от отеля. Есть полотенца, шезлонги, зонтики, недалеко от шезлонгов есть душ и туалеты с раздевалкой. Пляж чистый, есть фудкорт, детский бассейн, бар. Вода без мусора, но мутная, на дне местами встречается ил. Недалеко от берега есть закрепленный пантон, на который можно подняться. Залив не широкий, противоположный берег очень близко.
