This is a good venue let down by terrible service - staff are, in equal parts, rude and incompetent... Reaching someone on any of the customer service numbers will become the highlight of your day... unfortunately, even then, promises are almost consistently ignored... dont bother waiting for a buggy and dont expect relaxation at the spa. Best is to hide away in your room and hope for it all to end.

This is not a 5 star hotel. Being generous it is 3 ½ at best. The acceptable first:- Rooms were spacious and clean, front office staff were helpful and efficient, food was acceptable and plentiful. The pool attendant Abdul was extremely helpful and cheerful. The waiting staff made every effort to assist but were clearly understaffed. Now the not so acceptable:- The rooms were dated. There were no lounging chairs outside, all were cheap rattan type chairs and were particularly uncomfortable. The service of drinks was just not good enough, probably due to lack of staff. There was meant to be a pool drinks service between 1200hrs and 1700hrs. The waiters staffing this would disappear for 10 – 20 minutes at a time leaving persons around the pool to wait for drinks or to go to the main bar some distance away. We have never been to a 5 star hotel where service times were imposed in this manner, you have to go to get your drinks at a small kiosk, it should be waiter service. Although complaints were made concerning this by numerous guests it did not improve one iota. In fact just got worse. There was not enough inside comfortable seating. There was no evening entertainment except for music in the only bar open in the evening. Where smoking was accepted so the only option was to sit outside on the uncomfortable chairs. This hotel is a top quality THREE STAR hotel but is not even close to 5 stars.

Friendly service, nice breakfast area, but the rooms should be modernised and resized. They could make more rooms of better quality instead of big room with average quality. One warning: Dont eat at the Mai Thai lounge restaurant. High price and really low quality. Instead go to the golf club on the other side and eat in the first cafe/restaurant on right, when you enter the golf center. Average prices, but high quality food.

The worst hotel we ever been to. There was food from the last guest in a furniture of our room. And its a really noisy location. We had one of the best rooms. They asked us daily at whitch time they could make our room and then they did it how they wanted, mostly in the evening. Furthermore its too expensive... also we had to wait for new towels every evening. Wont recomand this hotel.

This hotel seems to be catering towards Russian tourists, since most of the people were Russians, including the staff. The standard of the hotel definitely doesnt match other 5 star hotels and the overall quality of service leaves little to be desired. The hotel from outside looks great but as soon as you go inside, it starts losing some of its sparkle. The staff were helpful and efficient and the one bedroom which we stayed in was large. But the sofa in the salon cant be converted to a bed, so we had to pay for an extra bed for our daughter. The room was ok in terms of cleanliness, and its not as bright and modern as other 5 star hotels. Some of the items in the kitchen were rusty and old (check my photos). The swimming pools were good, although a bit crowded on Friday, and the beach was nice and clean. Breakfast however was below average. Seriously, Ive been into many hotels and this could be one of the worst breakfasts to be offered, especially if you consider the 5 star rating. It was crowded, and the eggs station had a queue although we went during the non rush hour (as suggested on a sign in the lobby). The variety of the food wasnt good and the restaurant itself is dull. No wifi, although being a resident of the UAE, it wasnt a big deal since I have a data plan. Again, a 5 star hotel with no wifi. What age do we live in? Finally, while my review might sound negative, I wouldnt say that the hotel is horrible. Its good, but based on my experience with the hotels in the UAE, Id definitely say that you can get far better value for money in many other hotels.

This hotel is OK. The best way to describe it is to say its a poor 5 star hotel. The pool towels are so frayed I would have thrown them away years ago. They charge for WiFi in your room and for bottled water in the restaurants. There is zero pool side service. There is no turn down service. Whilst all these things are minor they are difference between 4 star and 5 star. I spoke to the staff about the hotel and they informed me that Hilton took over the hotel three years ago. In my opinion they should have closed it down and reopened after a complete refurbishment. However if the above doesnt bother you remember you are still paying 5 star prices for a 4 star hotel. If that still doesnt trouble you then more the fool you and this would be a great hotel for you. Oh the food is OK ie not 5 star.

We recently stayed for 11 nights in this lovely hotel. We arrived at about 2am and the staff were fully attentive , happy and very helpful. Although this hotel is lovely in itself with a great beach and spacious well appointed rooms ( ours was right on the beach ) what really makes it is the staff. From the front desk to the room attendant. From Bar to beach they were truly brilliant. After meeting them they are like old friends. The restaurant staff heard my partner coughing and came out with ginger and lemon tea one morning and then offered it without being asked for the rest of our time there. The room attendant made towel sculptures in our room, we had 4-5 bottles of water left gratis every day. The gardners all said hello. You really couldnt have asked to be treated any better. You could criticise the tiny bit of wear and tear here and there but you would be missing the point completely. Five stars from me and worth every bit of it

Worst hotel experience ive had. First they gave us the wrong room second the ac wasnt working and we had to call them two times to fix it . Cleanliness is another problem. The stuff are unprofessional and the bathroom smelled all the time. The furniture is old and the sound of the fridge was loud. No complimentary coffee unless u call and ask, even no water boiler. Rooms are so close to each other that u cant sleep from others shouting. No wide options in breakfast buffet which is also not tasty and the stuff barely smile. If there was less than one id give it . Definately not tecommending it. Also i forgot to mention the huge cockroach we found in the room.

I can say thats it was the worst five star hotel i have ever seen! ! The whole experience was awful starting from checking in. The staff were slow and didnt know there jobs i waited for one our to get the room ready. When i went to the room it wasnt five star hotel room very poor decoration and old..the room was very dirty and baby diaper was left in the bathroom!! The bed sheet was very dirty and when i complained the reaction was only that they sent the cleaner to the room. There was very loud noise coming from the ceiling the whole night i couldnt sleep.... the only nice thing was the sunset view and thats it!!! It is really shame for Hilton to have such a hotel and staff.. i will never recommend anyone to have the same experience...

Ansonsten kein 4 Sterne Hotel, auch im Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis : Buffet zwar gut, aber wenig Abwechslung, Speisesaal ist eher eine Halle und sehr laut, All inclusiv nur gültig für sehr begrenzte Karte, Pool Bar sollte um 10 Uhr öffnen- meist erst ab Mittag besetzt, Hauptbar schliesst AI um 23 Uhr, kein Föhn im Zimmer, keine Möglichkeit einen Sonnenschirm auf der unbeschatteten Terasse zu erhalten ("ist bei uns nicht üblich"). Wir werden jedenfalls nicht wiederkommen!

Schönes Hotel, vor allem mal etwas anderes. Statt dem sonst üblichen Hotelzimmer hatten wir ein hübsches Haus mit einem sehr geräumigen Zimmer. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. In der Anlage gab es einen schönen langen Sandstrand, der auch zum Spazierengehen einlädt. Leider war das Haupthaus während unseres Aufenthaltes im Bau, so das alles etwas beengt war. Was uns nicht gefallen hat: das Essen war irgendwie immer das gleiche und nach zwei Wochen hing es uns zum Halse raus. Außerdem wird das Hotel sehr knapp kalkuliert geführt, jede Kleinigkeit kostet extra und ist auch nicht billig.
