I would like to express my extreme disappointment in the suits created for me by Abu Dhabi New Tailors. I came to the shop 4 weeks before leaving the U.A.E. to have 3 suits and 6 shirts done. During this period I came back and forth 10 times for the fittings since the clothes were never ready for fitting on the day they said these would be ready.
Even though they were aware in advance that I would be leaving the country, they never completed the suits until 2 days before my departure. Hence there was not enough time to make the repairs. I fitted the suits and even though I was not satisfied I took the suits with me. I spent approximately Dhs 3,800 for the entire wardrobe.
Now I arrived in the new country and realized that I could not wear any of the suits and shirts. The arms of the shirts are tight, the pants are tight that I could not even sit on them and the jackets are ill-fitting. In the end I spent Dhs 3,800 for sub-standard suits.
I selected Abu Dhabi New Tailors based on the comments on the internet but these comments are misleading since they are subjective. Contrary to the claim of the shop that they can make suits for male & female, they obviously cannot do suits for female. I would never recommend Abu Dhabi New Tailors to anyone and believe I owe it to the other customers to describe my experience so they can make better decisions.
