I think this is one of the best airports in the world. The only airport I actually enjoy. Clean and not very crowded at all. Also lots good reads for free. One big and 5 medium size duty free-restaurant areas depending your choice and location. Dedicated, clean washrooms to each gate. İts not new but a nice combination of modernist and İslamic features in terms of architecture.

Would have given it five stars but it lack some of the modern features. Power sockets are very limited. Duty free area is relatively small. Dining area and options are less than satisfying. Aside from these, you can find anything you need. Very clean too.

It is an extremely crowded airport with a small duty free shopping area. The seating locations near some of the gates are poorly ventilated. The food i bought was stale and i could not eat it. Toilets are hard to find and are far and few. Either due to extreme crowding or due to a policy decision, the areas near gates to Indian locations are not air conditioned at all. I sat near Australian and american locations where there are enough seats and well air-conditioned. The corridors are rather narrow for an airport that carries so much traffic. There are few points to charge electronic gadgets and i think in future they should add more. There are many flights to chose to go to Hyderabad, my destination. I suspect same is true for many Indian locations. The liquor collection at duty free is large and interesting. The queues at security check are being handled smoothly.

One of the best airports I have been too.. They have E-gate service to do automatic immigration service which is a great time saver. Duty free shops are also loaded with great offers round the season.

Took a connecting flight from Abu Dhabi.Transiting between flights was easy and didnt take long at all. The airport is easy to navigate and staff are friendly. Didnt have any trouble with my drone in cabin luggage.

I have been here for transiting to US. The benefit of this airport for US travellers is that you can complete your immigration formalities right here so that you dont have to spent time in US Port of entry. Airport is crowded but lacks few modern amenities compared to Dubai it Qatar. US authorities are at one end corner where your baggage screening and purpose of visit is reverified . Once completed you are inside mini US of A as in the gate for only American travelling flights.

The part looks way better than the old terminal, however be prepared to face enormous crowd. It is a mess. If you are transiting, make sure to allow for extra time as some planes are parked away from the terminal, so they use buses to move people around.

Ive transit by Abu Dhabi many times. One of the busiest airport in the world with Dubai airport too. A bit too small actually, its usually crowded, hopefully they build a new terminal. Smoking lounge are to small and ventilation isnt powerful enough to keep the room clean of smoke at pick hours. Food and beverages are crazy expensive, expect to pay more than US$ 13 for a pint of draft beer, US$ 6 for a pizza slice. In a positive note, security check is efficient and fast, and the airport is clean and easy to find your way around.

Have been several times here for transit. Its a large and well managed airport that links the North America and Europe with destinations in Asia and the middle East that are hard to get to on direct routes. Additional security checking for transfer passengers sometimes makes delay to on-board the flight (you might even miss a flight if the stopover time is one hour or less than an hour and you are travelling from South/east Asia to Europe/US) The full US immigration facility and customs clearance is the best part if you are traveling US via this airport. Also there are lots of duty free shops.

Great airport, but terribly busy. Terminal 3 is studded with loads of high end stores as well as midrange duty free shops. Dont expect any bargains though, nothing is cheap. Your food choices in this terminal are also limited. Theres free wifi at the departure gates which is a major bonus

Poorly run and organized airport. Massive lines and poor layout meant walking traffic between gates Was blocked. Only found "guest workers" and few could answer questions. When compared to nearby airports it is even worse.

Over crowded and too busy! Long lines, chaos, and crazy crowd after shuttle drop off just before security check for transit flights. Long lines for toilet. Announcements are not clear ( manual announcements, different voices, different accents). Airport facilities and space are not matching their growing flights business. They need to learn from Dubai airport experience. Not a pleasant experience in this chaotic airport.

I have been here while transition to Chicago. Though it is busiest airport but its a small airport. Food and beverage is costly. You get unlimited WiFi here. Thats a good thing.

Designing an airport? Estimate the required internet bandwidth required by waiting passengers. Then double it. Then double it again. Its the 21st century, there is no reason for a modern airport to have unusable internet.

Very clean airport with lots of staff, it feels more of a mall though than an airport after the security check in. You can buy stuff here with US Dollars no problem at all since they have a small US Dollar price label next to the AED price or the clerk tells you the total in dollars. The place is pretty hot and humid but the airport and airport bus has Air Conditioning at least.

Very dirty bathrooms, strong urine smell throughout the terminal. Very undersized for its traffic, have to take a 10mn bus ride to get to most airplanes. No drinking water, except for a few water fountains that dispense... hot water! No charging ports anywhere to be found, extremely slow wifi, not enough to stream Spotify. Uncomfortable and cheap seating in boarding areas. Very poor choice of restaurants/cafe or anywhere to get some food. All in all not a comfortable or practical terminal at all.

I went there for flight connection. It was very busy. All passengers need to go through the security check again, which was not so convenient. Toilets are too few compared to the number of passengers and are really far away from some gates. WiFi, available for free, is rather slow but usable.

I had flight from Istanbul to Brisbane in the 19th of May 2017. During the transfer in Abu-Dhabi airport I forgot to take my watch from security check. After I came out the security check, I figured out that my watch was still there. I asked the staff to let me in or give me my watch but they didn’t allow me. They told me to send email to the airport and they would send me my watch. From then up to now I have sent many email and request to the airport; however, I have not received any response. I think the airport authorities are not truthful and honest to passenger and they are not responsible.

Worst ever airport. Their airline Etihad, has useless careless and rude ground staff. They dont have any common sense at all. Never book with Etihad as well as theyve not given us some pre-booked meals for the long flights back to Manchester, and they once gave rotten fruits. Book with Qatar or Emirates. Not the Etihads s***y ground staff.

An airport with good connectivity to different parts of the world. Transited via Abu Dhabi airport. There is a security check even for trandit passengers. Landed here in Terminal 1 and departed from Terminal 3. It took about 10 minutes by walk to get to Terminal 3 from Terminal 1. Restrooms were clean but crowded and they seemed inadequate for the huge volume of passengers handled by this airport.

Dirty, stinky, overcrowded, bad customs that search you twice, toilets are filthy to say the least with no air and disgusting urinals, bad food, overpriced, no prices in some places to rip off westerners, bad attitudes and only Airport I have ever been that sells you water and takes it off you before you get on the plane despite being through customs. Hopefully the new one will learn from the current airports mistakes

Terrible airport with a very limited number of restrooms. They are all packed and there are long queues for both men and women outside. It is therefore very unconvenient for people with medical issue or people who just need to rush to the restroom. It is easier to find a prayer room than a restroom, it is a shame in an international airport. The information on the very few screens is hard to read unless you are just under the screen. If you have a connecting flight, you will still need to proceed again through a very long queue to check your bags, the queue can be long and this situation is not acceptable for such an airport, where old people have flight connection and the queue is up to the stairs. Finally, everything is overpriced and the AC is not working properly everywhere. The only good point is the free wifi.

Lots of review is available here. So, Let me be specific. Its one of the busiest airports in the world, hence very crowded. If you want to sit apart from crow, not possible in general lounge. Look out for reading area! You will have comfortable chairs and reading material there (also a nice partial view). But dont ear or drink in this area.

Just the most ridiculous airport and airline (Etihad). First the plane was driving and standing around the airport for at least 20min., then a bus drove us all those kilometers back in walking pace and a almost surreal serpentine run before the bus driver wouldnt open the doors, security checks were overcrowded and we had to find our way through what seemed to be the whole airport. All while we had to catch a transfer flight. If you havent planned for a minimum of 2 hours transit time, you should prepare yourself to get a bit nervous along the way ;)

This airports a bit small but the bathrooms are clean and the waiting areas are also very clean. Coming from NY, they have a Mcdonalds and a Burger King so if youre in a rush or want something familiar, you have those options.

Been here a few times. Dislike that I have to bus it to the terminal and back. Interior decor is drab. Not the best frankly. Security was efficient and competent. Dubai rocks worlds over this airport. If youre changing for example on the way to Australia choose Hong Kong or dubai.

Quite possibly the worst airport/crowd management Ive seen, ever. No people skills to speak of. Unfortunately had to transit through this airport; our Etihad flight was delayed and we were literally half hour away from catching our next flight. The security section was a shamble and they even managed to misplace my jewellery. When questioned where they were, the staff, instead of assisting to find it, pulled us aside, took our passports and demanded that we apologise because we dared to question them! Felt like I walked into a twilight zone; nothing during our encounter made sense. I was searched (for what purpose only Lord knows!), purposely kept aside even when my possessions were still missing and time was ticking. Their mismanagement suddenly became about disrespecting staff and the country. What in the world?! It was the most distressing and upsetting experience. Never will we fly by Etihad, Abu Dhabi airport and hell, even our country opinion is now tainted. Well done.

Mixed experience with Abu Dhabi airport. Spend 15 minutes on shuttle bus from air plane to terminal. Immigration que was very long. Needs updating with the decor, also needs more seats. When departing check in was very fast.

Why do transfer passengers have to go through another security check (once coming from Frankfurt and another time coming from Bangkok)even though they already passed a thorough check at the point of origin. It shouldnt be too hard to separate transfer passengers from those who are not. Result is needless standing and waiting in line with all others. I will try to avoid Abu Dhabi as a stopover point on future flights for this reason. December 17,2016

The customer service from the staff is good, particularly the various restaurant workers. However, a lack of bathrooms/toilets prohibit me from giving this a better rating. You can count with one hand the amount of bathroom facilities there are inside of the airport past security, which is unsanitary and overcrowded. If you have a connecting flight during peak hours, use the lavatory on the airplane before you get off.

We arrived the airport 2.5 hours before the flight. Used golden class service. When we reached the counter we were told that the system was down! We couldnt check in for a very long time. It is a very poor service and unacceptable. They dont have any back up plan. Shame on Abu Dhabi Airport

The staff is rude and not helpful at all. There was a local man helping muslim people with the new egate system, I tried to get his attention but he was ignoring me completely. I was trying to use an egate because I am already registered and I used it before but somehow it didnt work. I was trying to get some help, to find out if I need to register again, but there were only local stuff around, ignoring Europeans. After that I was waiting 30 min for regular passport control, I tried to ask man at the passport control whats happening, but he didnt even look at me. They should say clearly that non Muslim people are not welcome there. I never had such a treatment before!

The airport building suffers from a complete lack of toilets! The ones they do have are too small and suffer from long queues, in both the female AND male toilets! Due to the high demand put upon them, they are dirty, with soiled cubicles. The first toilet cubicle I tried had no toilet roll, previous occupants had used newspaper! Very disappointing, especially when compared to the facilities in Dubai airport.

Big airport with a wicked navigation. Not the best place for a layover - majority of comfy chairs are occupied around 11 pm. Do avoid paid sleeping pods - poor sound isolation, freezing temperatures, absence of minimal comfort (nearest shower is public and in 10 minutes of walk) which come at a cost, that can be compared to a hotel. If you are having a layover, good idea is to book an airport hotel (online booking is closed 24 hours before check-in) - theres usually no rooms available, when you are trying to walk-in.

Flew with Etiad Airlines for the first time on New Years Eve to Melbourne Australia. First time Ive ever visited Abu Dhabi Airport on the way & must say I was very impressed from what I saw in the short we were there. I ordered two Teas & Muffin at the CAFE NERO Bar & was even more impressed with ZAW, the KIND gentlemen serving furiously behind the bar. Despite all the crowds, din & noise, he gave time to both listen & talk to me while I placed my order. But then I found I was 20 pence short for the muffin! He waved that aside with a BIG SMILE & said "ENJOY!" Just his broad friendly smile lifted me so much, I promised I would give him my FIVE STAR ⭐️ RATING, as soon as I got to Melbourne! I hope CAFE NERO gets this feedback? I wish wed had more time to explore this great airport & visit all the shops & the SKY DECK. I believe its a wonderful experience? Maybe Ill have a bit more time on my return journey, but Ill Google it in case I dont!

Beautiful airport but worst airport experience in my ten years flying history so far! Flight got delayed first, led us to miss the connecting flight, airline gave us two meal vouchers, specifically saying can be used for any restaurant at the airport. Then we went to OLearys and asked the staff specifically if we could use the vouchers. The bartender SAID YES but not the drinks. My husband said then we would pay for the drinks and use the vouchers for the food. The bartender then SAID YES and asked us to sit down at the table by the window. But when we asked for the bill, the waiter denied that we could use the vouchers. We explained that they bartender told us YES. BUT when the waiter asked the bartender, he totally bloody LIED and denied his own words! This is outrageous! The insult and dishonest we received will keep this airport on our and our families and friends blacklist forever. We wouldnt even be here waiting for six hours and another six hours in Paris before we can get another flight to go home werent it for YOUR airline failure in the first place! But then gave us invalid vouchers and rendered us horrible service?! Could you just treat your customers with a tiny little thread of respect and sincerity?! Absolutely horrendous and disgraceful!!!

Good: Automatically enrolled Fast e-gate custom clearance speed up custom procedure to 10 seconds (enrolled during getting in UAE and can use when leaving). Lean back chairs at boarding area, which offer good relief for tired traveller. Bad: Rental car return is not clearly indicated on highway. (Its in Skypark building). Only after ask a police man did I find it. Worse: The mans toilet is not clean. The squit is old and looks disgusting. A first world class airport with a 3rd class world toilet facility...

Very nice airport. Lot of things to do during transit time. Prices are fair. Free WiFi is of decent quality to work, not super fast but ok. Ive been to AUH four times, and the third time was a 20-hour layover (yes hiks). Its a big airport, you can sleep anywhere. Theres plenty chairs, and for me those chairs are comfy enough to sleep (some chairs even accomodate your legs). Go to the lower ground (or is it first floor? I forgot), and youll find a less crowded area. Theres plenty shops, you can try parfume to kill your time hehe. I recommend you not to buy stuff using USD, because sometimes they dont have the change or they may overcharged you. Several cafe: CNN traveler cafe (in the food court area) and Costa coffee shop (in the first floor or the area beneath the food court). I like Costa coffee more. They have Burger King, mid-east food, pizza and ramen in the food court. Their mid-east food are the best one (Ive tried all of that). Btw its an expensive layover in AUH, foods and beverages are expensive. I gave four star because the toilets arent as clean as my expectation (or probably having been living in Japan for 2.5 yr makes my expectation of toilet really high, idk). Hope this help!

Worst airport I have ever had the misfortune to visit. Planes land miles from the airport building so its about a 20 minute bus ride. But it doesnt end there all the buses seem to drop off at one place one at a time so you wait in a long queue of buses. Then it gets really bad as a high percentage of all travellers are in transit and are funnelled into a hall way too small through only half the available scanning machines. All the while final boarding calls boom over the pa system. Pretty soon all civility falls away as people get desperate pushing and jumping cordons. Security are useless and the airline staff ignore pleas for help. Ive travelled through some pretty diverse airports but this airports smacks of third world disorganisation at its height.

One of the worst Airport in region. I was shocked to see this Airport, During my last travel to US I opted for this layover. And that was one of the biggest mistake. I dont understand who or how people are writing such a great wonderful reviews about the warmness of people working at Airport. Most of the Shops are run by some Chinese or Philipino girls and they are just cheating the travelers. The security staff is a pleasant surprise as they are totally incompetent and lax, None of them is worried about the safety or security. After reaching this Airport you will notice the water is really a scarce commodity in this part of world as for half ltr water bottle you have to pay US$ 3/50+ and no change will be returned. As a whole it was really a bad experience. The terminal 3 supposed to be best is like any Indian Railway Station, not enough seats no walking belts. to reach the gates you have to pass so many corridors, lanes climb stairs and people are arrogant. The government there must manage this famous airport some better way. All travelers travelling through this Airport must carry 1 $ bills or you will get the local currency in return and that too at a rate far worse than the real one. Nothing good at that place. Avoid transiting through this Airport.

Not the best of airports, but it has everything that you can ask in an airport. The Duty free isnt massive but it packs the punch. The pub in the smoking area is pretty nice and the food courts have good variety. The immigration services are smooth though I havent travelled during the real peak times. This airport was second to bottom of my 6 week trip to Europe where I visited 9 airports. It was really disorganised. Other airports board passengers by zones. It was a free for all with long queues and chaos resulting. I wasnt even sure if I was on the right plane to Melbourne or Perth. On the way we were left on the plane after a long trip from Perth for an hour waiting to get off. Children were needing to go to the toilet and screaming and there was no explanation from the Etihad crew until nearly the end of the hour. On the way back we were boarded on the plane and then left there for an hour waiting to take off. We did get advice from the pilot but why did it happen when we had a long trip to Perth to go through? Again the babies were screaming in stereo with frustration. It was torture. I didnt have faith in the plane as a result of my lack of trust in the smooth running of the airport. The seats are really squashed. There was a man 6foot 4 next to me who couldnt fit his legs into the seat. I couldnt recline my seat as it was in front of the galley. As a result I didnt sleep. I wont be choosing Etihad or Abu Dhabi again.

Staff is good and efficient. The airport is not very big considering the number of flights that depart and arrive here. Therefore for most flights you will use the bus to get to your plane. The airport has free WiFi and there seems to be enough seating available usually. For people traveling to the US, you can get your immigration and customs done from this airport instead of at the US, which is an advantage.

Beautiful! Easy to navigate, pleasant staff, although the military presence was strange - there were quite a number of them, all carrying large guns which would have been slightly scary had they not largely been listening to music or otherwise on their phones socializing. Also speaking of phones, the staff will not let you use their phone (I asked several) but there are a few payphone locations near the check-in/baggage claim area that I was able to use. Just make sure you have small change; four minutes worth of phone calls should have cost me 30 rupees, but in the stress of the situation I was in I hadnt had time to exchange currencies and only had American twenties so I just gave him one of those and called it a loss. Oh well, happy holidays to the payphone guy at DEL.

I love this Airport. The people are really helpful, free WiFi, which is not complicated to connect to, like at most other airports. Also free strollers to grab for the little ones. It is not growing as quick as the number of travelers, and it can be quite a trip from the plane to the terminal, and if your have connecting flights, another long trip to the next plane. Luggage cant really keep up if you have a short time to change flights. So be prepared to have your luggage delivered a day later to you (happened on every stop I had at Abu Dhabi International Airport). So make sure to carry necessities in your hand luggage and do pack perishable goods in your suitcase.

The worst hub in the region by a long distance, if I could give zero I would. Ive been to worse airports for sure but that was to be expected given the country and airline. Etihad claims to be tier 1 airline and so the hub should match this. Airport is old, possibly from 70-80s, congested, too many people overload the AC so its hot and stuffy, disjointed layout, bizarre mixture of styles, very limited seating. Toilets to accommodate 100s of passengers not 10,000s. Security is lax, I was able to carry water through and no requirement to remove laptop. I know they are building a new airport but theres no excuse...all other hubs in the region have had a bigger airport for years now. I even travelled as business and the business lounge area is only average, nothing to compare to regional rivals such as Qatar and Emirates. I wonder if Im in a different world as I cant understand how others have rated it 5stars!!!

Security check at the USA pre-clearance is terrible! Enough to totally and forever avoid this airport. They take your hand carry items, shoes, belts, wallets, basically everything, then send you to a distant scanner and pat-down. By the time you get back to your belongings they are completely mixed with others. Very easy pickings for a petty thief! Its only by luck you gather everything undamaged. For example they open all laptops and when I retrieved mine, someones cane was jammed into the screen. Total chaos, and I was early! Its almost as if the security staff have a strong anti-American sentiment.

My mom was forced to climb up the stairs to the plane despite our repeated requests for wheelchair assistance. I have flown in or out of this Airport for more than 8 times. They have all the facilities that are expected of a modern Airport. Though, not quite luxurious as Dubai or Doha International airports. Ensure to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before scheduled departure. They tend to experience ques infront of both security screening and check-in counters which may take up to 40 minutes to get through. Once inside, emigration clearance is a breeze and you can browse duty free or have a coffee. Finding and getting to dedicated boarding gate is bit of a pain and once you are there, there are not enough chairs to accommodate all of the waiting passengers there. So expect at least 30 minutes of standing time there. Upon arrival, emigration, customs and baggage delivery are speedy and you are out of the airport within 20 minutes of landing. Only negative here is that the Abu Dhabi Airport taxis ( the only car hire option available ) is quite a rip off. Their trip starts at around $10 and then you are charged per Kilometer comparable to normal taxies. Even for very short trips there is no reduction in the trip initiation charge. There are currently building two expansive terminals with dedicated runway. I hope this will bring the level of luxury and facilities to a level comparable to airports in Dubai, London and Qatar.

L This single star is for the airport. -> short walking distances inside the terminal But never fly with Etihad! On our way to Seychelles we waited over two hours inside the aircraft for luggage loading. In Seychelles our luggage was missing!! On the way back the flight from Seychelles was late but there was enough time to get the connection. Etihad told us its to late but we saw the flight still boarding on the screen so we ran. But flight was over booked only free seats in business class. They didnt let us in!! They said the luggage wouldnt be on-board so we need to wait >:) :-o it was again middle of the night and we had to wait 8 hours for the next flight but they only gave us food coupons no hotel... After waiting and complaining for a very long time we got some seats in a lounge. No refund no nothing after a journey of almost 24h

Ive been to many airports bit this is one of the worst. First there is nothing to do of you have to wait for a couple of hours. Especially terminal 1 is terrible. After visiting some shops and eat a meal at one of the few snack points and restaurants, youre about done. Which means waiting those uncomfortable seats all terminals have in one big hall. There are only a few a bit more comfortable. Theres no place to lounge, no tables. Nothing really. Terminal 3 has a bit (a bit) more to offer. Custom staff is terribly rude. They like to yell at people. One lady was too busy with her phone, didnt make eye contact and just pointed me directions. Afwul. If you need to go to the Emirates, Dubai airport is much better. I would definitely fly with a different carrier next time, just to skip this airport.

But then Luckily there was Burger King so I ate there but McDondals is 30 Mins away I think. Showers: good. Other: not so good. Not many airports have free showers. The downside is that you have to go through a security check before you can get to the showers in T3 and the line/queue is often long. (Single) shower in T1 is by G15 also *after* a security check that I otherwise did not need to pass through. T1 overloaded: nowhere to sit. T3 better. Free Wi-Fi: great. Sleep pods in T3, but didnt try. Gym in airport hotel but I assume you have to go through immigration/customs to get there, so I didnt.

Was in transit at AUH en route to Washington, DC. Extremely long line at the security check for US flights. We were standing in line for 1.5 hours carrying an 18 month old baby and hand luggage and they did not even offer a faster lane for families with infants. Its the first airport where we experienced this. Never flying through AUH again.

The airport is modern at some parts, unfortunately at the wrong parts - the terminal halls are more than crowded, to less space for passengers, nearly every seat is occupied during peak times. Boarding is very complicated and unefficient, you do stay in long queues with no seats available at all. Passport controlls are okay, less waiting time than in Dubai but still long. If I was late, I would have surely missed the flight because of massive queues and complicated boarding progresses. There is no daylight in the waiting halls and once someone prepares a meal in the shops at the departure level, you can smell it anywhere. But AUH has got a good duty free shop and finding your gate is not difficult.

Super long lines for international flights. Going to the USA required 2 back to back security checks. The line for each were unbelievably long. Lucky there was enough time to barely make our flight which was 3 hours away from our arrival at Abu Dhabi. The 3 hours layover barely sufficed. Overall a terrible experience. Im never flying through here again.

I use this Airport for more then 5 times and every time same experience. The things I dont like here are 1. Toilets - Always stinky 2. Waiting Area - So many crowd and there is no drinking water and petrol smell that cause for head ache also 3. Long queue - I always spend 30 to 60 minutes here, If some has connecting flight from here so must keep minimum 2 hours gap otherwise there are chances to miss your flight.

ETIHAD AUH-LAX flight watch: Dont fly Etihads AUH-LAX Route if you are connecting from Pakistan or India within 3.5 to 4 hour window. They have history of "Creating" delays on days when they overbook AUH-LAX. (AUH-LAX leaves at 850, your flight from Pak or India which was supposed to get to AUH at 6am will get there at 8 and you wont have enough time to go through on-premises immigration. Then they will get you into east coast to Washington at 11am Gulf time flight and put you on grey hound American or United domestic flight for 6 hours.. Pay a little extra and Fly Emirates DUBAI-LAX and save time, Emirates is much better with timing.

I had a lay over in Abu Dhabi for 4 hrs on my way to London Heathrow. Everything was great except the air conditioning in the airport. It was so cold wearing my winter jacket wasnt even enough. All the passengers wer complaining but they didnt change the temperature! Best thing was the free WiFi And worse thing is the unnecessary security check after getting off our flight from London lhr . Dont they trust the security measures in UK ?? Its just a torture!!!

I had a bad experience when coming via ABU DHABI airport to USA on 10/23/13. My wallet and iphone which were kept on plastic tray were stolen after it went through Security scanner. I am pretty sure there is a racket running with help of airport staff during busy hours to distract you and steal stuffs.After i complained airport chief security was not that helpful.They were keep saying leave your information and we will post your belongings if found, as if they know who did . They went though video and did not find anything.Later after returning to US i checked all my credit cards and did not find any fraudulent transaction , Strange !!!. So either the scam group targeted for iPhone or may be a another passenger took it.Fortunately i had passport,boarding pass and resident card, so i was able to enter US without worry.I found the airport staff very suspicious after i started question about my lost items. Please be super careful when going via ABU DHABI airport.

Definitely gives Heathrow a run for its money in the absolute worst airport in world. Landed, and had to wait an hour to go past passport control. All because they only had four staff working the queue Worse, quite a lot of people were returning residents who had to be biometrically enrolled. As a tourist, I didnt but I was caught behind 5. Each takes 20 mins. The only plus is free WiFi in the airport.

エティハドラウンジ（画像左）が広く、混んでなければ快適。欧州への乗り継ぎで、行きはラウンジでゆっくりできたものの、帰りは一時間のエティハド同士の乗り継ぎ。途中で乗換客用の荷物検査があるため、搭乗口が遠いと一時間ではギリギリ。深夜の着陸は幾何学模様の街路群の夜景がなかなかきれいなので、外をご覧になるのをおすすめします。ちなみになんですが、みなさん口コミにトランジット、トランジットと書きすぎ。飛行機の乗り換えのことですよね？　それなら正しくはトランスファーです。

تمت إهانتي من قبل مفتش جمارك . اتهمني بحيازة ممنوعات وفتش أغراضي ونثر ملابسي ولم يحصل على اي شي ممنوع ورفض يرجع الأغراض الى الشنطة وًطلب مني ان ارجع أغراضي بنفسي واترك المكان و عندما رفضت قام المفتش بأخذ جوازي و اتهمني بتصويره بهاتفي و تم أخذ تلفوني وتم تفتيش تلفوني من قبل موظف أمن مدني متعاون مع المفتش ولم يتم العثور على صورته صار الموضوع هذا في 2016 شهر 5 و كاميرات المطار تشهد على الحادثة والمسؤول المناوب كان موجود و لم يستسمح مني .. اتمنى من موظفين الجمارك احترام المواطنين لان سافرت الى 53 دولة وعشت في امريكا و ولا مره صارلي موقف مثل هذا من المؤسف في بلادي اتعرض لللإهانة Worst airport I ever seen in my life. Comparing to Dubai international airport which is the best in the world. This airport is bad because Etihad staff arent professional enough like Emirates airlines + one of the customs officers was so disrespectful to me he searched my bag and threw all my stuff on the floor and he refused to fix the mess he made + he accused me that I toke a picture of him without his permeation which I didnt do. Im an Emirati citizen and I have lived abroad in the USA and traveled to 53 airport around the world but never was insulted like how they insulted me in my country.

Lorsque votre avion atterrit avec Etihad, vous serez transférés dans 90% des cas via un bus au terminal 1 pour effectuer votre correspondance vers le terminal 3 si vous voyagez avec Etihad. Laéroport est extrêmement propre mais lairco fonctionne trop fort. Si vous avez loccasion de voyager en Economy class comme "frequent traveller silver", je vous conseille la lounge Al Reem au terminal 1: boissons + buffet et fauteuils pour attendre votre correspondance. Les serveurs sont très polis et lairco fonctionne vachement moins fort ce qui vous évitera de tomber malade. A part ça, laéroport contient bars, Burger King, duty free. Un nouveau terminal est en construction... curieux de voir ce que ça va donner...

Im September 12 hiergewesen, relativ viele Baumaßnahmen. Allerdings: Kostenloses WiFi! Draußen waren es auch nachts um 3 weit über 30 Grad Celsius, Wüstenklima eben. Aber drinnen ist alles angenehm klimatisiert. An den wichtigen Punkten stand Flughafenpersonal und hat Wegweiser gespielt.

Cet aéroport ultra moderne est en fait nul!! Il y a pléthore dimmenses salles dattente mais la plupart sont fermées donc les voyageurs se retrouvent a devoir dormir dans les couloirs a même le sol le long de celles-ci, pour les salles dattente ouvertes, les sièges sont en plastique dur pas du tout confortables ni ergonomiques (il y a peine une dizaine de sièges inclinés par salle!) et en plus il fait hyper froid dans les salles dattente, malgré limpressionnante hauteur sous plafond, on sent la soufflerie !! Tout a fait adapté pour un aéroport de transit qui reçoit des voyageurs venus de toutes destinations! (et particulièrement dAsie...), les voyageurs (qui ne sont pas couverts des pieds a la tête comme il est dusage dans cette région) tentent de se réchauffer tant bien que mal... mais seront de toute façon desséchés pas cette clim exagérée! (Surtout la nuit ou le soleil ne tape pas sur les parois du bâtiment) Il ny a pas assez de toilettes le long des salles dattente (compter 5 bonnes minutes de marche rapide pour y arriver) Et en bonus, la moindre bière est a 7€ minimum!! Bref, pour moi cet aeroport ressemble plus a un grand centre commercial qui empeste le parfum plutôt quà un endroit pensé pour le confort et le bien être des usagers, Très déçue!

نسافر دائماً على متن طائرة طيران الاتحاد إلي روسيا البيضاء عبر مطار أبوظبي قادمين من الخرطوم ولكن كل مرة نتفاجا بالجلوس في صالة ضيوف الاتحاد نسبة لعدم وجود أماكن خالية فى فندق المطار رغم وجود حجز بمعيتي من مكتب طيران الاتحاد في الخرطوم وتكرر الأمر للمرة الثالثة حتي عزمت علي عدم السفر معهم مرة اخري علماً بان موعد رحلتي بعد 12 ساعة
