Stayed here for a week for a wedding; the hotel is fantastic and employees go above and beyond. We got massages at the spa, used the fitness centre, and I even got my beard trimmed at the in hotel barber. The rooms are immaculate even coming with a pillow menu. The outdoor pool, beach, and multiple restaurants including a hookah bar are amazing .

This is a very good and classic hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and ansious to help to make a pleasure your stay. The rooms are big. The facilities of the hotel are great, like: the swimming pools next to the beach and the one in the hotel itself, the fine restaurants and its night club, its marina, the relaxing beach, its huge gym. The breakfast buffet is huge and plenty of delicious food. The location of the hotel is superb. I suggest the owners to invest in the old bathrooms refurbishment and to make the parking bigger. Said that, I recommend this hotel since my experience was extremely good and Ill be back for sure

The airport itself is quite good. However, trying to find the rental car return parking lot is nearly impossible. A few signs would fix the problem and would have saved us almost half an hour.

The Intercontinental has been one of Abu Dhabi finest hotels for well over thirty years now and it has aged well during that time, it still exudes class and luxury in a tasteful way. Comfortable quiet rooms which have been upgraded to contemporary standards , good restaurants and a great location with its own private beach and marina make this still one of the nicest places to stay in Abu Dhabi. Its well located for the city centre and malls. The Belgian Café downstairs is a lovely place to unwind after a busy day with a fine selection of food and beers.

The hotel is a bit dated. Rooms are rather small for the price, and the options for room service are limited. Good things about this hotel are: nice buffet breakfast with real bacon, nice pool and places for kids to play around, and good access to the beach. They also have good options of entertainment in the evenings. Live music, a couple of bars and outside screening of important football matches. The service from the staff was also good. Liked the little detail when you check out from the hotel and they come out from the counter to greet you.

Not one of the most luxurious hotels in Abu Dhabi but you get what you pay for! Staff helpful but we did get the feeling everybody was having their hands out for a tip all the time! We only tip hotel staff at the end of our visit, not every day. There were many language barriers with the staff, also giving us wrong information or wrong directions, all done in a very polite and helpful manner! We will come back to Abu Dhabi but will stay in another hotel and willingly pay the extra.

Free internet speed is so slow. The room and the toilet look so bad and used alot. Marbel became yellow and the bathtub is scrached and has some cracks. The AC is also another issue in this hotel. Its warm even if you put it on 18 deg with hi fan speed

What you can expect from an Intercontinental Hotel. Very good service, helpful staff, clean, many facilities, business center, and so on... but how can an hotel of this category not have complimentary Internet? Seriously, that was a huge disappointment. Even McDonalds provides it for free!
