I booked this hotel for myself and 3 friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed staying this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The only fault experiences was the slow service we received a the French Bakery. We stopped off for a quick lunch and found ourselves waiting over an hour for a couple of sandwiches and salads and we were the only ones in the café. My favourites parts about this hotel was the huge bath tub, buffet breakfast and amazing pools. Usually with a city hotel you expect a small pool but this hotel had 2 generous sized pools.

Overall, the Eid vacation was great. The breakfast was the best part of my stay. The staff were friendly. The only problem was the house keeping. I kept asking them for sugar and it took them an hour to get it to my room. I made 4 phone calls, the last one to the supervisor, to finally get the sugar for my coffee.

I am really recommending this hotel guys. I so love to stay long in this hotel. Accommodation is really world class. Carpeted room, clean and not smelly. I enjoyed the bath tab too, and also the swimming pool, though its small but its clean. The hotel staff are so helpful to us. And they do SMILE in welcoming us. I really had a great staycation here in Sofitel.

We have stayed in many hotels and have never experienced better or more friendly service from everyone. We also loved our upgraded suite. 10 out of 10 in every area. It doesnt have a beach front but they can arrange all that for you. We didnt get the chance to use that but it was good to know for next time.

Too many bad experiences spread over a 5 night stay to be able to enumerate in such a short space. Shortly: 1) Untrained Front desk staff, called me 3 times in 5 days to repeatedly fill check-in forms inspite of being clearly informed about multiple bookings 15 days prior to arrival as well as on day of arrival. They also kept on disconnecting the room keys cards on at least 3 occasions during my 5 night stay. 2) The wheelchair accessible room allotted was absolutely unfit to be let-out. Toilet had some creepy crawlies, the hand wash basin was choked, the shower area was choked, shower area had a reverse slope, which is impossible to rectify without ripping down the entire toilet. 3) Noise from nightclub kept us awake every night till 3-4 am. 4) Calling for ice in the room was a standard 30-45 minute wait. 5) In room breakfast order was repeatedly messed up. 6) All day dining restaurant staff didnt know difference between regular tea & green tea. 7) Instead of trying to rectify the complaints, all that the staff did was try to offer some discounts on various hotel facilities or offer some freebies, in the hope that I would not place my complaints on record.

The hotel is fantastic, attentive staff who go out of their way to assist and make your stay a pleasant experience. The rooms are well appointed, good quality finish and the bed is very very comfortable so a good night sleep is guaranteed. We had a club level room which gave access to the lounge which is fantastic. The staff get to know you by name, there is great food options especially breakfast and complimentary soft drinks (and alcoholic drinks between 1730-1930). I highly recommend this hotel and I will definately stay here again.

Everything about this hotel is excellent from the actual hotels rooms (I stayed in the prestige suite) and facilities to the staff (that includes every single one of them) I would like to give a special thanks to Vusi, Ijaz and Ria. There was a few others like the hotel maid and breakfast waiters/runners but I cannot remember their names. The staff gave the impression that they wanted to work for Sofitel that they were happy to be there and that it was not just another job. I will be recommending Sofitel to all my friends and family. Sofitel has made this holiday so memorable, thank you very much.

Upon late arrival we were warmly welcomed by the reception professional staff, who served us and directed us to our suite. Good first impression counts about hotel and staff. Next day we did not like the cleanliness of the suite, which was reported to the reception, that was attended to satisfactory. Breakfast can be improved with more food variety, but all in all it was satisfactory.

i have booked 2 nights but i stayed 1 night only, because the suite was not clean well around the T.V there is dust and the table beside was also not clean. Moreover the service was too slow. but the most thing make me angry is the dust. however you dont have baby club or baby area.

Our stay was brief but very nice. We spent a lot of time by the pool with our 3year old daughter. The staff at the bar area were very accommodating, paying a lot of attention to our daughter which she loved. A stand out, was staff member Sadun - ending our 5 week holiday travelling around Europe, the service he provided was the best of all. We could not fault it and it really made our stay. The stay was good however the baby cort provided was very dusty and even the blanket in it, my daughter got dust infection all over her body and eyes had to take her to the doctor the same night at the time of the stay, and and small first aid was not available in the hotel. That was a little upsetting situation. Thanks

We had the pleasure to stay at the Sofitel on our return from Greece. What a wonderful experience, my only regret is that we didnt stay longer ! We were greeted with such warmth by Ria on the Front Desk which was so nice after a long tiring day of travelling, we were then whisked away to our beautiful room by Gill, the staff really go out of their way to make you feel very special, they were very friendly and professional. Our accomodation was "out of this world" the bed! is what the Sofitel do BEST it was like sleeping on a cloud, the room was very spacious with all the best of best amenities. We were also given welcome drinks at the bar on level 37 (fantastic service and the view is amazing), The breakfast was sensational, the pool was Devine, I cannot fault we had a Fantastic Stay. The Sofitel Hotels never disappoint...... Once Again, Thank you to the Sofitel...

The service was excellent, the room had everything we needed and the staff did everything they could to make our stay perfect. At the pool bar and restaurant Grills @ chillo Munas and Avinash was always there to make sure we had a great day in the sun. The restaurant Parmigiana had delicious food the staff Ankit, Rakesh and Roxen was always welcoming us with a smile and make the dining a perfect experience. In the morning we had our breakfast at the Club Millésime where Marifhel and Rafay was always there to serves us with a smile and help us if we had any questions what to see in Abu Dhabi. All in all a perfect stay and we would love to go back.

Spent 1 night for a staycation during Ramadan and booked a 1 bedroom suite with Club Lounge access. My wife and I looked forward to the free nibbles all day, and aperitifs in the evening - one of the principle reasons for booking this hotel. However, once we got there we were informed that it was closed for Ramadan - this should have been communicated on their website. In addition, the other reason we chose this hotel was the reviews on tripadvisor stating the cold nature of the pool water, which we thought ideal in this heat. However, the pool was hot, as if there was no temperature control. As we were the only guests at the pool I asked the lifeguard why it was so hot, he just looked perplexed and stated it was "temperature controlled", to which I replied if then it could be changed from extremely hot to cold? He then put his hand into the water and looked even further perplexed. Will not return.

The experience we had from the time we entered the hotel was very welcoming and pleasant. From the moment we handed over our car keys to the valet up until checking out the next day we never came across even one non smiling service staff which I would say is very rare in the present world. The front office manager was very helpful and assisted us through with our check in without making us wait for too long. She personally escorted us up to the club lounge where we completed the check in process. The rooms we were allocated had a great sea view. I would like to make a special mention about Mr. Munas, Mr.Rao, Mr.Sadun & Mr.Afthab from Chillo Pool Bar who were extremely friendly and helpful. I went up to the pool with my three kids for a short swim but ended up spending quite some time relaxing as the courteous and friendly service by these guys really bowled me over. It was an enjoyable evening for me and my kids. We were at the Club Lounge for an evening snack. The service staff at the lounge were very attentive and looked into all our requests. We are a family of seven with three young kids. But the service provided to each one of us, be it big or small, was very customer friendly. Our dinner at Parmigiano, the Italian Restaurant added more joy. The food was very authentic and absolutely delicious. The manager and his crew were well conversant with the menu and saved us the hassle of having to go through the menu to place our order. Thumbs Up to the Parmigiano team. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful spread backed by a team of very well groomed and polite service staff. Overall we had a lovely experience with the only regret being the fact that we booked just a one night stay. Thank you to everyone at the hotel who made our stay an enjoyable experience.

The ambience and view were nice for a five star hotel, but less than our expectations. No iron was present in our room, and only one tissue box in the bathroom. We were used to some complimentary coffee and dates at the reception, but didnt see any, which was surprising for UAE based hotel. The reception staff were amazing, which made the stay very pleasant. An upgrade to a sea view room, with a 50% off dinner voucher made up for all shortcomings.

Parmigiana - My husband and I were overwhelmed with Abu Dhabi finest Italian food dining experience. The food was not only authentic buy also complement with excellent service by Ankit, Rakesh and Lodress. Our host were always smiling, courteous, friendly and also made some great recommendations on the mocktails, appetizers, main course and desserts. If its an authentic Italian experience you are looking forward to in Abu Dhabi, it has to be Parmigiana at Sofitel, Corniche. Im sure there will be many more visits. Stayed the Sofitel Abu Dhabi a few times and have always enjoyed the experience. During my last stay, I was disappointed to see that the couch in the room was really stained and dirty; not something we associate with the high standards set by Sofitel. Please do not see this as a complaint, but rather as an observation from someone who rates Sofitel very highly. It was very disappointing stay. Hotel is tired, room furniture needs an upgrade, there are lots of marks on the furniture and flooring. Breakfast is very chaotic. Staff not interested. No one seem to care. Bar is a disappointment with strong tobaco smell and full of dodgy females. Not suitable for a family visit. What can we say - never thought I would stay in a Sofitel that is so bad. Only good thing was your staff at the club lounge, specially Gentleman called Rafay who was very professional and an asset to your company

First of all the room didnt look like the pictures on the website. 2nd Ramadan Iftar tent food was below average not the same quality as used in other Sofitel Hotels. 3rd I used to get my room upgraded and late check out as Im silver member at Le Club Accorhotels which didnt happen in Abu Dhabi and when I asked for late check out they informed me that I can stay up to 3 or 3:30 pm after that they will charge me for one more night. 4th the room was not cleaned professionally specially the bathroom.

This was my third stay in Abu Dhabi and in this excellent hotel which has everything I expect for vacation: perfect location, nice rooms well-protected against noise, good Wifi access, cosy Sofitel beds, a pool large enough to swim, good cuisine (I loved the Oceana dinner and the Iftar buffet) and a lounge with a great sea view and lots of amenities. But most outstanding is the staff, in particular in the lounge. I had long and interesting conversations with Marifhel and Rafay who were very kind and confident in their job. Compliments to the chef who always cooked delicious snacks and all the others, Ismail, Nor, Maksat, Vou (spelling?), who did a wonderful job.

we checked into one of our rooms and there was an overwhelming cigarette smell. When we complained they offered to refreshe the room Instead of changing it. I would have instead but it would mean moving an entire family of 12 people ( 5rooms). I gave the hotel benefit of the doubt trusting it would be done. We went out and returned to the hotel 8hours later and found the smell was still strong we had to leave the windows open ovenite beddings had absorbed the smell which gave me a sleepless nite. It was also the 1st nite of Ramadan and Instrad of breakfast we had paid for, they decided to offer sahoor in place, we didnt mind since were going to be fasting but we were served with the worst combination of food for sahoor. It was a very strict choice to pick from so we had no choice but to pick the one that seem to be most reasonable which was a combination of food that would give anyone gas during the day. Briyani, stemmed chick peas, foul madmese, boiled egg and Laban. ( which by the way they have served consecutively for 3 sahoors now my sister who is still at the hotel says.

Probably one of the best hotel experiences Ive ever had. I regularly stay in Accor/Sofitel properties round the world and everything from check in, to butler, to lounge, to lounge manager was absolutely brilliant.

Best thing happened that i got an upgrade to a sweet at the 21 floor which was unexpected and wonderful experience that i really thank you for. Sadly the living room was smelling cigarette smoking at night which neither I nor the hotel had an explanation for. Every day my baby girl woke up smelling smoke. unfortunately, the hotel just brought an air freshener to solve the problem, it made it worse. What you should know that I stayed (and loved) before at Sofitel Munich, Los Angeles, Washington, Dubai downtown and lastly abu dhabi. I consider myself as a loyal costumer and this thing happened in abu dhabi wont affect my loyalty. but I really prefer that it wont happen again. Thank you Mohammad Alshehab

We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights and it was a great experience. The staff was exceptionally nice and was helping us in every possible way. The food was great and we always had enough. The buffet was never empty or not filled with enough delicious international food. The special offers varied each day and we enjoyed exceptionally good food. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sofitel Abu Dhabi from the pre-arrival to check out. The pre-arrival form was a great help and all my requests were well executed. This included arranging a chauffeur pick-up, an anniversary celebration welcome and a chauffeur drop off following our check-out. I would especially like to thank Marifhel (Club Millesime Manager), Mark (Concierge) and Lou (Butler) who went out of their way to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as it was. With regards to the hard product, I was very impressed by the room decor and quality of amenities. At breakfast buffet both at the main restaurant and Club Millesime lounge, there was a great range of food options, all of which were delicious. Friendly recommendation, improve the food quality of the room service, I felt the the club sandwich and capital burger were not very tasty.

love everything about this hotel. my first five star one at that! Edited: This was my first Google Maps review and as mentioned above, the first time I was able to check in at a hotel. The experience was amazing, and spent most our time in the room after a long day of strolling around the city .The room was have was upgraded because the one we have booked are not available and thats why this made the experience all the better. At the time, I dint know that hotels had facilities you can use so never got the chance to use any of them but Im sure if the room is the standard to base it on, then the rest would be just as perfect. I wish to come back here again but thats only if we get the steal offer my wife bought, I believe its for 4 days and 3 night that includes ticket to both Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld. So I have 0 complaints at this place and nothing but praises.

I went with my family and I to the international buffet dinner and were SEVERELY disappointed. The buffet was incredibly empty, which should have been a red flag. First of, the service of the male waiters (the few female waitresses were very charming and did a good job) was subpar for a luxury hotel. Bored, not attentive and courteous. Ive seen better service in food courts. Secondly, the food - a disaster. Ive been to quite a few brunches in Sofitel, but the dinner was horrendous. There was little selection and the food was very average, not the standard I was used of Sofitel. It was supposed to be an "International Night" buffet but all you had was your standard course found in many 2-3 star hotels. The highlight of this night - which still makes me fume - was the audacity to charge 20 Dhs per juice WITHOUT telling the people that they are going to be charged. We assumed that since water and soda was included, the juices were too. When we wanted to leave, we were surprised with a hefty check plus 10% service charge for severely watered down juices we thought were included. We got no apology and the waiter who handled the check was unaffected by our confusion and simply charged us without explanation. This was the last time my family and I will step a foot in this restaurant - and the hotel. Extremely disappointed. Update: The manager immediately called personally, apologized about the issue and offered a good compensation. So this was nice.

Arrived with my wife for dinner was greeted nice by the staff. As we went up to the buffet I felt as we were in for a nice experience and great deal in reading a few reviews and my wife finding a good pre-purchase deal. That unfortunately was the end of the great experience with ofcourse the exception of having my wifes accompaniment. We were led first right into the middle of 4-5 tables with almost the rest of the place being almost completely empty (should have been a warning sign). The buffet was supposed to have an American highlight. If you call a slider or some badly seasoned attempt at fried chicken a highlight. About 95% of the food was absolutely not American. It was an absolute disappointment and with the 1000s of really good restaurants in Abu Dhabi please do yourself a favor and most probably save money in the process by going elsewhere. I have read the reviews for lunch and they seem to be positive but as for dinner it was a waste of time and money. The hotel was nice and the dining room was beautiful if only they could live up to that with the dinner buffet.

Nice hotel, good food. Not very competent staff when it comes to special requests. When I asked for food options for breakfast on our check out day (because we had to go to the airport and get a take away box) the woman at the reception wasnt helpful at all. When i asked for food without flour she said i might have a croissant. When i tried to explain why I cant eat it she laughed and said there is no flour in a croissant. Neither did she write a note for the kitchen as i asked her nor was she able to replace regular milk with soy milk. We didnt get towels for 2 persons in our room and when i asked for them they never showed up so i called again after an hour. For a hotel with 4 or 5 stars it wasnt very professional in my opinion. We payed a lot of money and they didnt seem to be interested in our needs as there were like 5 negative incidents in 3 days i wouldnt book it again

حقيقة كانت تجربة غير جيدة الحجز تم لغرفة فاخرة ولكن للاسف باني وجدت الغرفة نوع مختلف عما توقعت وشاهدت بالصور قبل الحجز الغرفة نوع اقل من الاستاندر فقط مطله على البحر والاطلالة عبارة عن نوافذ غير متصله بعرض 30سم والحجز لشخصين ولا يتوفر بها غير كرسي واحد لشخص واحد وطاولة صغيرة مساحة الغرفة غير مرضي التواليت اتوقع ان يكون اكبر منها مساحة. الاسعار للغرف وللوجبات مبالغ فيها جداً لا انكر الموقع الجيد للفندق والغرفة نظيفة ولا انكر تعامل الموظفين الجيد خصوصاً الاستاذ رشيد نسيم الذي كان متفهم ومنصت جيد عموماً ابلغكم بانها تجربة لن تتكرر لان سوفتيل ابوظبي غير السوفتيل المعروف شكراً لكم .

Positif : super petit déjeuner (notamment pancakes et gaufres) avec un service large permettant dy aller à des heures variées Jolie chambre Service de navette avec ticket pour la plage Personnel sympathique Très belle et grande piscine ; nombreux transats à lombre (appréciable par forte chaleur) Bon emplacement Négatif : odeur de cigarette dans notre chambre non fumeur (venant visiblement par la clim) Grande piscine très (trop !) froide (et la petite piscine est à linverse trop chaude) Matériel de fitness à la salle de sport un peu ancien, par rapport à ce quon peut voir dans dautres hotels Du bruit la nuit venant de la route de la corniche Quelques navettes supplémentaires dans la journée serait un plus appréciable

Buen hotel, excelentísimo desayuno. Los cuartos son muy oscuros, luces muy tenues y no hay un lobby donde estar o esperar o tomar algo. Quiero destacar el excelente servicio de Defi Rusanti, jovencita con la mejor actitud que atiende en el área de postres y cafes. Lo mejor son los alimentos de gran calidad en los Sofiteles en general.

Ne changez rien le petit déjeuner juste magnifique un buffet extraordinaire avec un service top, les piscines ,les jacuzzi et le service navette pour allée à la plage , centre commerciaux ainsi que Ferrari world et yas Island. Vraiment merci un vrai coup de cœur pour cette hôtel .

Bin im Sofitel mit 4 Personen Freitag abends zum International Dinner Buffet gewesen, hatte ueber Groupon gebucht. Speisenangebot sehr limitiert, Qualitaet Basic Standard. Kann Vergleich mit anderen 4 oder 5 Sterne Hotels in Bezug auf Vielfalt und Qualitaet der Speisen nicht mithalten. Obwohl Soft Drinks im Groupon Preis enthalten waren, mussten wir fuer Orange Juice extra bezahlen, ohne bei Bestellung darueber informiert zu werden. In Zukunft fuer mich ein No Go.

Après plusieurs passages dans cet établissement, voici ce que jen pense. Les chambres: propreté nickel spacieuses et adaptées. Le service : Rien à dire. Le petite "bonjour, bienvenue" à larrivée est très sympa. Le buffet: excellent, bien cuisiné, et diversifié. Le Jazz and Fizz : jai passé le réveillon du 31/12/2014 SUPER classe. Driss le serveur (francophone est un super gars) et le responsable boisson de lhotel Igor est efficace et performant. Le Silk & Spice: délice en restauration Thaï. En conclusion un hotel très bien situé avec une prestation de luxe inégalable. Bravo Christophe
