    Have visited this hospital several times in the last 3 months with my friend whose baby was born here. If you ask me like an observer, i think this hospital has a great infrastructure. However felt that it needs more experienced doctors and other support staff. With such improvements this can surely become world class

    I have been fortunate to have found the NMC Royal Hospital following numerous searches for good medical facilities and doctors since arriving in the UAE. Excellent service at the emergency room when my daughter fell and have also been been to see the Ophthalmologist and had my regular tests for glaucoma. I have found the staff to be friendly and efficient from administration through to medical staff. Thank you

    Finding good healthcare facilities were a must for our family following our move to the UAE. We were accustomed to the same GP and Dentist as well as the same groups of hospitals for many years. We were pleased to find NMC Royal. I have personally taken a patient to casualties after a heavy object split open his toe. I also had the pleasure of sitting through the wait and the procedure to disinfect, stitch and splint. I recently also had the unfortunate event of breaking a tooth. The staff were professional and caring from the time we arrived until we left in either. . At no stage in either of the situations re casualty Doctors or Dentistry did we have any cause for concern. Even though no one ever wishes for illness, in the unlikely event NMC Royal will be our first port of call.

    They have very low experience in every field ...I cant describe how slow they are processing your stuff ...if you have a medical emergency dont bother coming here...you will end up waiting for hours and Im not exaggerating to get a doctor..it happened number of times on me personally. No matter how much faith you have that service and staff will improve within the upcoming months; it always stays the same without any improvement being done. For a fact Im surprised how careless are they not taking initiative to fix the LONG WAIT. It is sad to see a good hospital being run with a poor staff. Goes below my expectations every time I visit the emergency department.

    I went for a deep cut in my baby finger that needed stitches, doctor only put tape to close it and wrapped it up with blood pouring everywhere.... clearly a rushed, not clean job. Four days later I could smell a foul smell from my finger and took bandage off to see that the cut was wide open and smelling rotten. I went back where agsin they put tape and changed the dressing telling me to watch it for two days. If it doesnt close than Ill have to go to surgery. When I was speaking to the doctor he was playing with his phone while I was talking to him by which I said angrily put your phone away when Im talking to you. The whole experience was disappointing and unprofessional. I read the other bad reviews thinking no way its that bad, until I went myself and experienced the unprofessionalism. Now to see if this simple procedure gets to the level of surgery because of a wrong initial decision.

    Really not happy with this hospital at all, its as if the doctors and staff dont care at all. My heavily pregnant wife was left to sit for hours for an ultrasound, only to be told that there was no one to do it. If you make an appointment, then it should be honoured! Im quite angry about this, and considering looking elsewhere. Really not acceptable treatment. Please take note of your reviews, 3.1 is pretty diabolical. Maybe you need to review your management.

    Good building, polished walls and tiles, but poor administration, and worst nursing staff. Give one time for surgery, you reach and its delayed without any reason. They scheduled my five years old son s tonsil surgery at 8 a.m .they advised us to bring him 8 hour starve.we reached timely with my son awake and starving just to know that surgery has been delayed to 10 am and my son has to starve for two more hours.do they realize how difficult is to keep a toddler hungry and thirsty when he is awake and really feeling hunger or thirst? Nursing staff is incompetent and totally inexperienced. Four nurses took one hour to set a canola on my sons arm and caused many bruises and made him cry a hell out of him for a full hour although he was advised to not cry after tonsil surgery. Food service for admitted patients is worst. They never bother to serve food to the patient timely, damn care how little the patient is and how important the meal is for him. My son got surgery at 10 am, and till 10 pm, they provide food only once. We bought food from market and deposited in icu to refrigerate .but when we needed the food, we rang the bell, requesting for foods, and hardly get before two hours.

    I accompanied my dad from Nigeria and was really impressed with the care and ambience at NMC. I would especially thank Mr. Nabil Bouabid for his passion in ensuring our comfort. It was a worthwhile trip.

    Worst experience ever... Not even deserve half a star. I called for walk-In in Pediatric Dentist . After confirmation we we went there waited for 2 hours then doctor refused to attend and send us back. Nobody was listening to us and no one sorry but they were making statements to prove themselves right. We live far away from NMC Khalifa and in hot weather we went there with confirmation but nobody realized inconvenience caused to us.

    I went to NMC suffering with hypoglycemia as a walk into the Internal Medicine Department. I was seen by Dr. Kamishetti right away. He realized immediately how sick I was and admitted me. I was put in the medical ward where I stayed 3 days. I was cared for of by a wonderful staff that was always smiling and asking if I needed anything. I dont have one complaint about the service I received from the staff on that floor they far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Kamishetti, listened to me and asked a lot of questions he ordered test and other evaluations and clearly assured me I was going to be okay. After 5 years in the UAE I can finally say I found an excellent Internal Medicine doctor. I greatly appreciate all the efforts by the Dr. and just as importantly the staff.

They have to treat everyone equally and priorities emergencies ..not by race But overall good experience and hats off to Dr. Shetty and Abu Dhabi government efforts to provide better healthcare in town

    Royalty in the name is not enough instead should be practiced. People in EMERGENCY does not have any sense of urgency. It is just another outpatient block. After waiting for more than 20 minutes in their emergency i had to take back my insurance card and go to another hospital who understood the real meaning of Emergency. Pathetic!!

    Ive been a patient of this hospital for over five month, I have a very good experience the hospital is clean and staff are friendly. The specialists like Dr. Xavier Garcia, Dr. Hasan rheumatologist, and others are very professional and with good qualifications. AT the endoscopy department I had a very bad experience with the nurse because he lacks of experience and professionalism. The best experiences I had so far are with the nurses from India, unfortunately the ones from Philippines are not well trained. I wish to have the opportunity to choose the nurses as we can with the doctors, this is the only downside otherwise the hospital is highly recommended is very clean and pleasant place.

    Today I had my Stent removal procedure done at the Royal Hospital. The Hospital is 5 Star in looks and Feel and the way the Staff treat you is unbelievable. The Doctor (Dr. Khaled, Urology) as well as the staff were very friendly. Luckily I was put up at the VIP Suite and I should say, I was blown away by the facilities provided (Even though I did not deserve to be there). Great Ambience, Great Staff, Nurses and Doctors including the boys, who also was very helpful when needed. I am sure, this is the best Private hospital in Abu Dhabi, it feels as if you are inside an International Airport.

    My children are regular patient of Dr. Dinesh Banur At Royal NMC Hospital. We feel ourselves privileged to be under the care of Dr. Dinesh Banur. He is an excellent doctor very caring and compassionate. He has a lot of patients often gives a lending ears to all our problems and dualy addresses them all. I strongly recommend Dr. Dinesh Banur at Royal NMC Hospital and its five star facilities .

    We came with my child less than 1 year old at that time to Dr Danesh for a checkup as we saw that he had a fever. Fortunatily Dr Danesh noticed the paleness of my child and requested a blood check up. We left that morning when suddenly we received a call that we had to go back to hospital. DR Danesh tried to reach us in every way until he communicated with us through police who informed us that this is an emergency. We reached Dr Danesh who was waiting for us almost after his working hour to finish. Our son blood had reached 5 and was still decreasing. DR Danesh then refered us to the needed Dr. Dr Danesh suspected G6pd and he was right. Eventually our son was diagnosed with G6pd just like he suspected. And had blood transfered to him .We didnt know he had this cause none of our family members had it. Dr. Danesh is very supportive and takes care of his patients all the time. Thankyou Dr Danesh you saved my sons life. We are forever thankful and glad you are his Dr. ( all my kids favorite Dr.) thankyou nmc royal. Mother of Khaled.

    I am extremely disappointed at the treatment I got AFTER my last visit to the pediatric department at NMC Royal in Khalifa City. My daughter was seen by Dr. Sweta for abdominal pain. Urine and stool samples were requested for cultures to decide if she has any infections. Inspite of being informed at the time, that we will be informed of the culture results after 4 days, 2 weeks and several phone calls to them later, nobody had yet called us to give us the results. Nobody called back as repeatedly requested, and the clinician was absolutely oblivious of the child she had seen in pain 2 weeks earlier with absolutely no care to follow up what happened to her. The insurance card was charged, and that was all that mattered. Only after I made a big fuss and threatened a HAAD complaint, did the doctor call me the same day, though very upset, absolutely unapologetic, insisting she had done nothing wrong, claiming it was their policy not to call back if the results came back negative, that it was not her job to follow up the patient, and that if I wanted to follow up, then I had to bring the child back to the hospital and not "just sit at home and expect everything to be done for you" as she described it. I have since visited another facility and had the culture redone and it did turn out that my daughter had an infection of H. Pylori. A serious infection if untreated, but actually very common and very simple to treat... by COMPETENT medical professionals. NMC Royal is a brilliantly equipped facility, and most of the staff I have come in contact with are friendly and helpful, but this particular experience with customer support, and this particular clinician, were a resounding failure.

Every time he explains very clearly and he treats us like a family doctor. Hospital maintains is very good, very friendly staff.

    We moved to Abu Dhabi over an year ago and initially struggle a lot to find pediatric doctor until we meet Dr. Dinesh Banur and his team. their pediatric unit is the best I have so far and it provided me same level of service, safety and security I have experience back home in Australia. Dr. Dinesh Banur is an excellent doctor and human being. His passion for providing best care for kids clearly shows on every visit we had. Dr. Dinesh Banur take the time to explain every procedure he does. There is nothing else in the world can provide pleasure to parents when their kids has good permanent doctor who provide the best care and guidance. I would recommend Dr. Dinesh Banur and thieir pediatric unit to everyone. he is the best pediatric doctor I have ever had. Thank you Dr. Dinesh Banur for the great experience and quality work you provide to my kid. please keep it up.

Today again i receive that its hospital mistake. they give us wrong report. do you think its a gud hospital for treatment.

    I am 7th months pregnant , and my pregnancy is very complicated because i had preterm delivery in my last pregnancy due to waterbag breakage, but baby couldnt survive - this time when i got my new insurance during my 6th month of pregnancy i decided to go to NMC Royal as its very near to my home in KC - i was seeing Doc Priya Laxmi - during my ist visit i explained my last pregnancy history to doc, i found her very friendly and nice , she explained everything about my pregnancy, scan result and medicines- as my case is complicated so i have to see doc after evey two weeks, but for my second visit i called for appointment and reception guys said doc is fully booked, come well see if we can adjust u , we went there but doc refuse to see me as she was fully booked, then i asked for othert gynea they said all docs are fully booked, we went to another hospital for checkup, after that i called for my next appointment they said doc Laxmi is fully booked till 23rd march(i guess 21 or 23 March, I dont remember the date) - and she is going on leave - you can book for other doc - I mean why would i change my doc on everyvisit? They will not adjust u they are always FULLY BOOKED whenever u call them for appointment- if u r their regular patient they wont care to give u appointment on time (if ir case is complicated they dont care) - after calling them for appointment many times amd got FULLY BOOKED answer, i have now gone back to my previous hospital where my doc told me to come directly to me without any appointment as ur case is complicated

    The process is too slow. And there is no concern about the patient status. For discharge process we waited more than 2 hours to see someone who can assist us . The food is not good. Better to change the catering service. Even the child did not like it. The pediatric doctor was excellent, he cares about the patient, and answers everything and follow up with us twice daily .(Dr.Yahya)

    Dear All, I want to complain on Dr. Ahmed Abdelrahman in NMC Royal Hospital. On Sunday, 26 February 2017 at 8.30 am my husband with fever went to Royal Hospital, he was waiting on reception 1 hour!!!, and only at 9.30 am Dr. Ahmed Abdelrahman had accept him. In his cabinet Dr. Ahmed Abdelrahman didnt say even Good morning to my husband, just check mouth and keeping silence prescribe some medicine and let my husband go. Doctor didnt even give my husband sick leave. When I called to Call Center about sick leave, Valentina, the supervisor has attended the call, I asked for help, she called my husband and with this just finish all situation like this, no solved, no sick leave, no apology about bad service. I am not satisfied with this kind of service. My family and I will never come to this hospital again. Also I cant recommend this hospital to any one, as staff is very rude and unprofessional. Thank you!

    I have visited NMC Royal for the first time wen my new born baby had a fever. I was directed to Doctor Mohamed Khalil who advised us to admit my son as he had high fever. It was bad news for us however Dr Khalil and his team in NICU were very professional in treating my son and also in keeping us always uptodate on what is wrong and the procedure is, which made us feel very relaxed and less stressed. I hope no ones new born gets sick, but if god forbid they did i will Highly recommended Dr Khalil and his NICU team. Special thanks to all nurses who were very professional and nice and also Dr Alexandria who was the on call doctor there and who was extra extra nice and kind aside from her professionalism.

    Had to sadly use the A&E at NCM Royal KCA for my son, the resulting in two surgeries and two admissions were everything a mother could hope for, he received excellent care in the hands of Dr Alwani in a high quality hospital in a very convenient location, very happy!

    5 stars for pediatric Doctor Rawah Kh.M Zeiad she is very nice and professional she explains everything very clearly. And also 5 stars to all the nurses in pediatric ward they very approachable,always smiling,polite,and most of all well trained. For food also its healthy and the taste is good. Rooms are very neat and clean.

    I have been there for several specialty, but most of the time the doctors they will ask for some blood test that is not necessary and they will never call for follow up about the tests, also they are referring me to the other speciality, and for a hormone test it takes about 10 days to have my result. One day I was there to follow up my blood test and I booked appointment that day, I waited for an hour to see the doctor after that the nurse came in the waiting area and he said the doctor said some of my blood test not ready yet, I told the nurse why the doctor dont want to see me in her room and tell me that, why she just sending the nurse I ask if she is busy or she have another patient he said no, then they let me enter her room then she prescribed medicine for me, because some of my results was ready.

    Been there last week, the overall experience was great. Every nurse we saw in the hospital is ready to help, take you personally where you want to go. Doctors are also seem to be professional. However, a lady in the internal medicine reception treats one like she owns the place and its my mistake to go to bother her.

    Terrible! I made a reservation a week in advance for today, they confirmed it the night before. And today morning I show up, and the doctor had to leave on emergency and my appointment is cancelled. They tried calling me 1 hour before the appointment and I couldnt pick up the call. In this case they should have texted the info but they didnt. Only after my attempted visit to the hospital they sent a text notifying me of the cancellation while I was waiting for a taxi to go back to work. This was a complete waste of my time and money and the admin people seem unprofessional. Not going back there unless this is the only hospital left.

    One Star for Emergency.. probably the worst experience in my life. I hope the OWNERS can read this and take necessary action. However the doctor who saw me later was good and helpful. Update: Funny how almost all got a response from the hospital, and nothing was sent to me. Just goes to show the lack of understanding still is a major problem.

    Staff were friendly and clean hospital. I did a few blood tests on Thursday morning and I was told that my results would be out within 24 hours. Its Monday now and Ive called over 5 times to follow up and speak to my Doctor but I keep getting unreasonable excuses. I even spoke to my Doctor who said she would call me back and never did. Never going back to this hospital, much better healthcare institutions around! Waste of time and money!

    Overall a very good experience as we stepped in for acute pain caused by kidney stone. Dr Deepak Pillai Naphrologist, is very caring and thorough in his diagnosis n conclusions. On his reference we met Dr Benjamin, a very senior urologist, who cured the same through OT procedure. He explained the things in laymans terms to us and bought us in comfort zone. When he have medical problem, you are half cured if your case goes in right hands. Full marks to both of them. Besides the anaesthetist, cardiologist whom we came across as part of pre operative procedure were very friendly. Staff all across hospital is very polite, extremely helpful and serving very promptly. Food was the only bad part. Patient was not given cup of tea/ food in time. Please be prepared for making your own arrangements. Dont depend upon inhouse caterers till may be it is changed. Thanks.

    In July 2016 I had an accident and sustained a superficial wound to my forehead I was taken to NMC Hospital as it was close to where I was staying...I asked what the charges would be as I am a visitor to Abu Dhabi and was told 600 to 1000 Dhs or more if the cut needed stitches. After what I thought was an unnecessary consultation by nurses taking my height and weight..I was seen by a doctor who told me it was a superficial cut and he gave me the option of glue or sutures I chose glue. I was also strongly advised to have a CAT scan which I refused as I was not feeling dizzy was coherent and did not see the point. The procedure was all over in less than 30 mins but when I went to pay I had been given a consultation form with no billed amount so the receptionists rang the emergency dept and was given the sum of 2535 dhs I protested the huge amount for a superficial cut. Especially when the final bill stated 500 dhs for doctor services and 2030 dhs for treatment of superficial wound which amounted to 4.0 dhs for sodium chloride and 1.30 dhs for a pair of surgical gloves.The Emergency Department receptionists were not interested in checking the cost and gave standard expressions both to me and a desperate man in tears needing emergency treatment for his wife who was also protesting the charges he had been quoted. I paid as I had another appointment to go to but later realised that 6 months earlier I had sustained a cut after a fall which required intricate stitches above an eye at the Emergency Department at Al Noor Hospital where I received the best care and the whole procedure cost 1000 dhs. At NMC I may have been charged for the CAT scan I did not have but found the whole experience inefficient and uncaring..I would not recommend this hospital to anyone who wants efficient care and would advise patients to check what they have been charged for as mine was a costly experience that I will never repeat with NMC Hospital Khalifa City.

    The worst hospital ever no internal alignment between the nurses and doctors and i have stayed for 6 hours as a patient for observation with no doctor following up my case in the professional mean letting me stay with a high temperature fever for 3 hours telling me the doctor said its ok based on his assumptions without checking on me. Leaving the hospital I promised myself not to go back again and I decided to go to another hospital they admitted me right away and asked me to do the same tests i did at NMC so I just called NMC to provide me the results they refused and asked me to visit them personally.

    Im really surprised! Ive been a regular at the nmc branches in abudhabi & sharjah and thought this royal hospital would surpass them all. The emergency dept was practically empty yet it took the staff a good 3 hours to get my sons swollen finger x-rayed and bandaged. Awful.

    The hospital has great facilities , but the doctors are obsessed with x-rays, Blood tests or anything they can charge you with. If you have a flu dont be surprised if they asked you to do x-ray since it is EXPENSIVE!!!!!

    The doctors are good but the administration / recption needs a lot of work as there were maybe 3-4 patients in emergency and the they could not cope, it took a total of 2-3 hrs. I have got to say that Emergency reception was a disaster as firstly we had to wait a long time for my daughter to be seen, when my brother asked for an internet password so that we could send messages to our family through WhatsApp the recption said firstly it is not available. Then when I went up and asked a different person I was told they will get from IT for me, which they did. When everything was finished which was 2-3 hrs later the recption were horrendous in assisting us as we waited so long to finish the remaining administrative process. Then after all the checkup was finished the staff could not find the ADNIC card for my daughter which they had taken.

    THE WORST PATIENT SERVICE EVER. despite having their vision of ... At NMC Healthcare, we guarantee personalised care, genuine concern ??? REALLY??? - I dont think they live committed in their vision as it seem their staff are INCOMPETENT TO SERVE!!! I dont think they offer genuine concern to patients considering people go to hospital to seek medical ATTENTION! My personal experience are having a confirmed cardio specialist and when I arrived the doctor is on vacation and they have no idea what to do. second, I seek Ortho appointment and was suggested for an MRI and when the approval came out on 15th of May & NO ONE BOTHER TO NOTOFY ME that it has been approved not until I personally called 2 weeks after to follow-up on whats going on, then they started playing departmental blame game and eventually added me to their appointment. Third, IT IS UNBELIEVABLE THAT UNTIL now (another 2 weeks after MRI) no one has yet to contact me on the result of my MRI nor at least notify me to see my doctor, or perhaps check if Im still alive How would I know isnt? - Absolutely WORST MEDICAL SERVICE EVER in ABU DHABI!!!

    Dear Administrator@NMC Royal Hospital, Let me begin by saying, that Im aware that you have recently opened your doors to the public, but I was terribly disappointed on my visit this morning along with my wife. On entering the hospital, we asked for the endocrinology department and were lead to the 1st floor to the gynaecology department, then the internal medicine on the ground floor and finally after asking somebody, we were lead to the ENT department in which the endocrinology department resides. The majority didnt know what Endocrinology was. After filling in the in-take form, we found out that the doctor had not yet come. The hospital staff didnt have the doctors number to contact him/her and we left after 15-20 mins of waiting as my wife had to get back to work.

    Service is very poor. Only one Doctor in the emergency to handle. Be prepared to wait for at least 2 hours before the Doctor sees you. On top of it they charged me AED 750 for emergency consultation for an eye drops that cost AED 19.50. I even saw nurses running around searching for equipments. Dr. B.R Shetty if see this review please feel free to contact me.

    افضل دكتور في قسم الاطفال ممتاز من ناحيتين التعامل مع اسرة الطفل حيث لا يخصص لنا وقت معين فالتشخيص يعطينا كامل وقته في طرح الاسئله ومن ناحية فحصه على الطفل ممتاز يفحص الطفل بشكل كامل ولايركز فقط على مكان الالم اوالجرح يقوم بسماع الشكوى لدى الام فيما يخص طفلها ويبحث معها الموضوع . انساني اكثر من كونه دكتور فقط يتعاطف مع الطفل بكل ماتعنيه الكلمه دكتور قلبن وقالبن شكرا دكتور ( دينيش) لاهتمامك الدائم باطفالنا نقدر مساعدة الدكتور لنا وكل ما يفعله من اجل صحة اطفالنا شكرا للمستشفى . My opinion his the best doctor ever because his give us all his time and explain for us every details about my son when hes get sick. He is not in hurry when we ask him any thing about my kid ,we really appreciate his support and his timing. Dr you are very good person thank you for every thing you did for our kids. Thanks to the hospital as well

    مستشفى خدمه سيئه عدم احترام للمواعيد واستعمال المذب في التعامل مع المرضى ...... تعامل من قبل الرسبشن في عياده العظام بشكل اسوء من السئ ذهبت يوم السبت للعياده حيث تم اخباري من قبل الرسبشن بانه يوجد طبيب واحد فقط ومواعيده كامله بعد محاولاتي العديده بالاتصال بهم حيث يتم تحويلي الى العياده قررت الذهاب بنفسي حيث تم الاعتذار بوجود دكتور واحد ولكن الالم بقي مستمر لم اجد موعد الا يوم الثلاثلاء وكان الموعد الساعه ١:٢٠وتم اخباري بالجلوس واثناء جلوسي سمعت احد الاشخاص يخبرهم انه لديه موعد على الساعه الواحده والثلث وتم ادخاله من غير التاكد من موعده وعندما تم سوال الموظفه قامت بالكذب قمت بالاتصال مع المسؤؤله وحضرت ولكن ما الفائده مستشفى سئ وخدمه اسؤى عدم احترام للمواعيد والمضحك بالمرضوع انه الرسبشن يقوم بتشخيص حالتك مدام اذا عندك تنميل لازم تروحي اعصاب مش عظام مستشفى كبير وصرح فخرنا بوجوده يتعامل بهذا الشكل
